So many fans romanticized the life of a professional wrestler, and not without good reason. It was so easy to look at the screen and see these larger-than-life personalities doing battle, and to imagine them living an idyllic lifestyle. The fans only saw them for a few fleeting minutes of their day, but those minutes were filled with drama and combat, were thrilling to behold, a spectacle that they could only dream of.
Blair Dame didn’t begrudge them their dreams and their fantasies, but there were times she wished they could see what such a life was really like. There was fun to be had, for a certainty, but there was heartache, too. The life of a pro wrestler could be a rough one, filled with disappointment and despair. Blair Dame had lost so many friends over the years, either through betrayal or more natural means. Some had drifted away from her, some had gone on to live different lives. She herself had been away from the ring for no small amount of time, until tragedy brought her back…
So many friends lost, so many memories faded. But tonight, she would have a chance to reclaim one of them, thanks to her next opponent: Damien Williams.
Such melancholy thoughts. Even now, as she waited in the gorilla position for her next match to start, they plagued her. Thankfully, she did not have to endure them alone.
She and Brittany - one of her conquests from the JOB Squad - had found a nice little corner in which to know each other better. The young lady was proving to be an increasing delight. While her teammates were reluctant to serve in their new roles as her seats, this one had taken an incredible shine to her, utterly driven by lust to share in Blair Dame’s presence. While she would happily command any of them, there was something about a willing throne that delighted her, and she had welcomed the woman’s presence.
She was enjoying the taste of Brittany’s young, succulent lips when one of the stagehands came their way and gave the signal, sheepishly looking them over before she darted back into the darkness. Blair Dame broke away the kiss and let out a long, husky breath over her ward’s face.
”Come.”
A few moments later, and Blair Dame was making her way down the ramp with Brittany close behind, her , approaching the ring with long, proud strides. She made her way into the ring, claimed her corner, and brought Brittany for another hot, steaming kiss to reward her, earning her the envy of many onlookers.
Once their lips parted, she merely stepped back and gave a simple order, one that she knew would be promptly obeyed. ”Chair.”
As Brittany took up her position in the corner, Blair Dame settled down on her face, leaned against the ropes, and waited for her long-missed friend to make his appearance…

Re: Damien Williams vs. Blair Dame - It's Been A While
Tonight was pleasant. For Brittany, that was, as tonight she had been asked to accompany Blair Dame in her appearance in LAW tonight, and the smitten brunette obliged happily. She sat backstage, gently rubbing Blair's arms as they kissed, the cheerleader having happily fallen into her role as one of Blair’s playthings. Not too long ago she might have been unable to fathom the idea, but the heavyweight had struck her directly in the heart, and the brunette was smitten. Smitten enough that as Blair made her way down to the ring for her match, Brittany walked close behind, before readily and eagerly assuming her position in the corner, getting on her knees and bracing herself as Blair sat squarely on her waiting face.
While Brittany was busy in her own personal heaven, Blair’s to-be opponent was busy watching backstage, and was not experiencing the same sort of bliss. Damien Williams, the father of Ducky, Daphnee, and Dhalia Williams, was making his debut in LAW tonight, entering into the same world of wrestling that his daughters occupied. That on it's own was no cause for concern. Damien had been wrestling for a long time, and in all different places, and so even a stadium like this was nothing that would bother him. No, his thoughts instead, were about his opponent.
Blair Dame.
It seemed that someone within LAW, likely someone in charge of matchmaking, had done their homework, or perhaps even were old-time fans. Damien and Blair wouldn't be having their first meeting in LAW, as the two had known one another long ago, near the start of both of their careers. Damien had been much younger then, inexperienced and far more brash, and he had met Blair in the ring, in some underground wrestling ring. The two had enjoyed their time together. They even dated for a bit. And then, life pulled them in separate directions. Damien, now married and a father of three, felt like the slight nerves he had running through him shouldn't be there, but given how Blair tended to operate, he couldn't help but feel that this was going to be quite an unorthodox debut. And so with that in mind, he'd ready himself and step out onto the ramp.
Sure enough, as Damien approached the ring, he was struck with the sudden realization of just what he was looking at. Blair, sat near the corner, hadn't positioned herself on a chair or the buckle, but on a human. She was sitting on some smaller wrestler's face, watching the blonde male as he approached. That certainly settled the question of if she had changed or not.
"Well... this was a surrpise. I didn't expect to run into you here, first thing." Damien entered the ring, standing across from Blair with his arms crossed, glancing up and down the heavyweight's frame as he took in the sight of her once more. "This is... well, not 'new,' but I can't remember many human chairs accompanying you to the ring before. When did that start?" Damien asked, eyes wandering down to Brittany, before glancing up at Blair, only the small hints of a wry smile appearing at the corners of his mouth, a signal that he was perhaps a bit more pleased than he let on to see her again!

Re: Damien Williams vs. Blair Dame - It's Been A While
Blair Dame told herself that, when she saw Damien again, she would keep her composure and maintain her regal air. She had an image to maintain, and she would not risk it by getting too emotional because of nostalgia. After her match with the cheerleaders, she had accrued a good deal of interest with the fanbase, and there was talk of title shots in her future. This was not the time to lose her nerves.
And yet, as she saw Damien once again, there was no stopping the warmth from swelling in her chest, no keeping her heart from its wild fluttering. He was different from what she remembered, of course. A bit sturdier, well-worn by the world, showing the dents and dings of age that she herself was so familiar with. Was the beard new? She couldn't remember it. It would feel prickly against her cheeks, but she would manage.
Those eyes, however? Those she recalled with crystalline clarity. More weary, hardened, but unmistakable. Her poise fell for a few, fleeting seconds, and she fell into a time warp as a genuine smile took hold.
By the time he entered the ring and spoke, she had it under control, filling that smile with more seductive intent. She made no secret of checking him out from head to toe, more to mess with him than anything. They both knew nothing would come of it, but she liked a touch of danger.
She acted as if confused for a moment by his question, then lit up and reached about to give Brittany a pat on the side of her head and a quick grinding of her hips. ”This?” She shrugged. ”Something I acquired after a recent match, spoils of war. Her and two other ladies opposed me, and I dealt with them in short order. This one, however, grew attached.”
Blair Dame stood up, pulling Brittany’s face along for a moment before it popped free from her cheeks. She flicked Brittany's way and motioned for her to leave the ring. ”You may stay at ringside, so long as you don’t interfere. Be a good girl, and I might have a treat for you afterward.”
After Brittany had left, she turned her attention to Damien in full and strode his way, her long legs crossing each other with every step. ”Aging gracefully, I see. Still quite the specimen.” She nodded her approval. ”How fare’s the family?”

Re: Damien Williams vs. Blair Dame - It's Been A While
Damien remembered that look. Both of them, actually.
He kept his eyes on Blair as he walked to the ring, and for a moment, he caught a glimpse of her genuine smile, a look that he remembered from when they were younger, something she very rarely showed to anyone. Of course, she covered it just as quickly, and replaced it with a look she was far more used to wearing, a seductive grin that he also remembered well. It wasn't the first time that he had been fixed with that vaguely hungry-looking stare, and he was fairly sure it wouldn't be the last. His gaze remained steady, or as steady as it could be, though he most certainly noticed Blair looking him up and down, while he stopped himself from doing the same, only a brief glance downwards at her powerful legs before he was watching her as she stepped out of the corner.
Brittany, having been dismissed, would give a wordless nod and proceed to slip out of the ring, gently resting herself down on her knees outside of the ring, giving Blair a smile and wave. Damien raised an eyebrow on seeing such a display of control from Blair, before she had crossed the ring and moved to stand in front of him, the two gazing across at one another. This definitely brought back memories. Of course, Blair seemed to know enough about his current status to ask after his family, Damien's eyebrows raising.
"Well, you know. My girls are... plenty busy here." He smiled in spite of himself, a genuine grin as he thought of his three daughters. They had all made such names for themselves, that at this point, he was likely known as their dad, rather than them being HIS daughters. It made him proud, and it showed on his face. "And my wife is probably planning on joining soon. She's been shopping around for opponents." He paused for a moment, seemingly considering his next words, before continuing.
"Maybe you'd entertain her sometime. I think she'd find you to be a lot of... uh... entertainment." That probably worked. It also, however, made him want to move past it quickly.
"How about yourself? Any friends or family I don't know about? Any... uh..." He glanced past Blair over towards Brittany, who narrowed her eyes and glared at him in response, clearly having more than a little bias. "...Pets?" Maybe that was the right word. Regardless, he glanced at Blair with the closest he would likely come to a knowing smirk, the two clearly getting a little more comfortable with one another as the memories of days past came back to them, not an unpleasant sensation.

Re: Damien Williams vs. Blair Dame - It's Been A While
Blair liked the beard, she decided.
She was reasonably sure he hadn't had one when they’d last met. Perhaps nothing more than peach fuzz. This current look suited her quite well, she would say. It was funny how a beard could make a man look younger, sometimes, but that was the case here. Maybe it hid those ages features, tricked the mind.
”Hm, yes, I’m quite aware of your daughters. Impressive, all of them.” She dropped her seductive lilt for a few moments, speaking genuinely. Even she wasn’t so crass as to speak lustfully of the man’s daughters to his face. “You can tell they come from good stock, though I’m curious to see what the other half of that equation is.”
She saw the pride on his face, and the sight brought a welcome warmth to her chest. It was a look of pride, one she herself wore many times. They would have to trade baby pictures later, though. Now wasn’t the time for such things.
At the mention of his wife, Blair nodded and clicked her tongue. ”Oh, I’m sure she and I would get along splendidly. We’ll have no shortage of stories to share, I am sure.” Her more devious smile return, with a burning glint in her eyes. ”Pets, yes. Of the two-legged and four-legged variety.” She gave a quick glance towards Brittany, winked, and returned. ”A child and a husband, too, though he passed not long ago.”
There was a tinge of sorrow there, despite her best efforts to bury it. Wrestling had been a wonderful way to recover from that tragedy, making her feel as if she was starting her life anew, but that scar would never truly fade. Neither did she want it to.
The crowd was getting restless, now, as was the referee. As much as she would’ve loved to talk more, they had come for a great many things, none of which involved two aging wrestlers prattling on in the ring. ”We will talk more later. In the meantime, I am eager to see all the ways you’ve changed.”
Blair Dame stepped back and raised her leg, sliding into her Muay Thai stance, foot bouncing on the canvas, as the referee called for the bell. ”En garde[/b].”
