The impact.
The *sound* of Nate's cheek meeting the unforgiving leather. It wasn't just a physical blow, it was a symphony of release for Louise. A tidal wave of pure, unadulterated satisfaction crashed over her, a heady mix of sweet triumph and the cleansing rush of pent-up rage. The simmering resentment, of feeling sidelined and dismissed by the Divine Stars had finally found their outlet. The guilt, the constant nagging voice of decorum, the need to be "one of the good girls"—all of it crumbled in that instant. She could practically taste the sweet nectar of retribution, the victory long denied, now finally within her grasp.
Louise, the rebellious firecracker of the Cupcakes, the one who always danced on the edge of chaos, felt a primal thrill course through her veins. While the others played by the rules, she embraced the beautiful, brutal poetry of the fight. Polly, her friend, her partner, the anchor to her wild spirit, had been cornered, subjected to Nate's calculated cruelty, and the sight ignited a firestorm within Louise.
This wasn't just a match; it was a declaration. A statement.
"Tag me! NOW!" Her voice, usually playful and teasing, sliced through the arena, sharp and demanding. She was a blur of motion, a whirlwind of focused energy as she sprinted toward her corner.
The referee, caught in the swirling chaos, offered a momentary distraction.
Polly, seizing the opening, scrambled to her shakey feet, her eyes meeting Louise’s in a silent understanding: it was time.
TAG!
The roar of the crowd, the deafening chants of "Cupcakes! Cupcakes!" - they were a soundtrack to her vengeance.
Louise launched herself into the fray, a predator unleashed. Her eyes locked onto Nate, who was still dazed. A uncharacteristic cruel smile stretched her lips as she charged towards him, a whirlwind of righteous fury, boot raised high at the right moment, ready to deliver a brutal curb stomp to the back of his arrogant stupid head.
Vision narrowed to that one target. The air crackled with her intent, a palpable force surrounding her.
"Eat this, you rotten beefcake!" Her voice, raw and laced with venom, was a promise.
Her plan solidified in her mind, a dark symphony of calculated moves. If they succeeded...
...The curb stomp to stun, to buy her precious seconds...
...Then, if the moment was right, a devastating Boston Crab!
Nate might be sprawling, vulnerable, his meticulously sculpted physique stretched taut. If so, Louise would step over him, she would bend down and grab his thick legs, the grip under her armpits secure, and then, sit down on his lower back. Louise wanted to bend him, hauling his body into a painful C shape. Sure, Nate was right at the ropes. A simple gesture to grasp the plastic coated cables and have the referee order a break. Added to which, Nate was far too heavy to drag to the centre of the canvas, this would have to do.
Louise's gaze fell to the opposite corner. The referee was about to turn back to look at the wrestlers in the ring.
As she settled, her mind counted the precious seconds.
All of her moves from this point on would become a gamble, a calculated risk against the imposing frame of her opponent. Adrenaline pulsed through her veins, a roaring torrent of power and precision. This was the eye of the storm. Pure concentration. Every muscle, every nerve ending focused on the task at hand.
Nate's defeat.
Then, the jeers. Oh the jeers! The enraged bleating of the audience. The shouts of protest. The whistles.
The crowd, a sea of judgment, their voices a dissonant chorus of condemnation. Their chants, a desperate attempt to derail her, to warn the official. To alert the hawk-eyed Kate to the ruthlessness lurking beneath the sugary façade of the Cupcakes.
Louise would yank on the tree trunk muscle legs of Nate. Her mind defiant. Let them be shocked. Let them scream. This was her moment. And she wouldn't let them take it away.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Nate was now on the ground, still holding onto the ropes. He would shake his head, attempting to regain his senses. The match was still early, so it was going to take a lot more than this to keep him down. He also couldn't let Kate down as well. Well, he had done some damage to Polly so it's not like she would be able to hit with the most devastating moves but that is when he heard her call for a tag. He would then hear the tag and the crowd roar, realizing what was going on. If Louise got to him, he would be in trouble. Pulling on the rope, he would attempt to make his way towards the corner and try to tag in Kate.
He would pull forward and start making some progress before he heard an insult thrown at him. Kate would stretch out her hand, telling him to quickly tag her so she could get in. He would look up, and see Kate at the corner offering her hand but before he could get to her or even process the insult thrown at him, the blonde wrestler would then feel something land on the back of his head as the ground suddenly came closer. His vision would go black as his face was planted right into the canvas, causing him to once again be stunned again. The crowd would roar at the sight, happy to see such a brutal move.
Kate on the other hand was furious, annoyed at how the foul play had led to this. She needed to come up with a plan. The female Greek wrestler would start going over possible ideas on what to do. One was to simply stay in her corner and be ready for a tag-in. Another was that she could attempt to attack Polly, in a way to distract Louise and give Nate a chance to recover. Another possibility was that she could attempt to enter the ring again, getting the attention of both Louise and the referee. Though already having recently gotten in trouble, she didn't want to risk a disqualification. She needed to bide her time at the moment and stay put, ready to tag in.
Nate who at the moment was utterly out of it, would still feel his legs being grabbed before feeling the weight of his opponent on his back. The Greek wrestler would then be bent and placed in a C-like shape. He would let out a howl of pain, as his eyes widened from the Boston crab that was currently being applied on him. Luckily for the male wrestler, he was right at the ropes and would grab onto them for a much-needed rope break. Nate would just then need to endure the pain for a few more seconds and would then be freed. Still, those few seconds would be hell, each second doing more and more damage to his back. Kate on the other hand would tell the referee to do her job and order a rope break, stating that Nate was clearly holding the ropes.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
The bright lights of the arena cast an ethereal glow around Louise, illuminating her almost victorious expression as she reveled in the thrill of her unexpected triumph. She felt good—no, she felt euphoric. The adrenaline coursed through her veins like wildfire, fueling a fire of pride that was hard to quench. It was a moment that had seemed impossible mere weeks ago, but here she was, grappling Nate, who had once made even the toughest opponents tremble. Each breath she took felt like a victory chant, echoing deep within her, a reminder of her strength.
Nate’s muscular legs felt like dead weight beneath her grip. She couldn’t help but marvel at the irony of the situation; the mammoth figure, a sculpted beast who usually moved with the speed and agility of a panther, was now nothing more than a pawn in her game. A hundred pounds of determination—a hundred pounds of heart—had outmaneuvered a formidable opponent. She glanced at Polly, who lay on the ring apron, her small frame still, lost to the world. Louise hoped her friend knew how hard she was fighting, hoped she could feel the spirit of their bond surging through her, giving her strength.
With a fierce yank, Louise intensified the strain, knowing full well the stakes.
Sure, the odds were stacked against her; the Divine Stars were waiting with bated breath for any hint of weakness in their opponent.
The referee, with a stern expression, began her countdown, and Louise could feel the pressure mounting, both on her grip and in her chest. The voice of the referee cut through the tension like a knife. “Break the hold, one… two…” Each number felt like a countdown to doom, but Louise detached herself from that worry, focusing instead on the moment. The crowd was alive, their boos thrumming in her ears like a heartbeat, each boo and jeer a testament to her audacity, feeding her bravado even more.
“Three… four…”
With a dramatic flourish, she let go and raised her hands in mock surrender, a triumphant smile plastered across her face as she stepped back. Sure, she knew she had played a dangerous game, and in doing so, had potentially opened the floodgates for retaliation, but in that moment, she reveled in her own rebellion against the rules.
"When did I become the villain?" she wondered as she strolled around the ring, savoring the energy of the baying crowd. Excitement bubbled in her chest, her heart racing with every step. Approaching Kate, who could be forgiven for fuming on the sidelines, she couldn’t help but lean into the chaos that surrounded her.
“Your boyfriend isn’t that tough,” she teased, her voice dripping with confidence as she stared into Kate’s eyes. It felt good; the thrill of taunting a formidable opponent coursed through her. “Makes me wonder how easy you'll be to beat.”
Louise was riding high on her bravado, shrugging off the potential backlash. She embraced her role as ‘heel of heels.’ She felt on the brink of something greater—a transformation, perhaps, from unassuming newbie to fierce contender. Arrogance danced on the edge of her words as she stepped closer to Kate, refusing to back down.
“Why don’t you get in here and let’s see what you can do?” Louise poked Kate’s chest playfully, relishing the moment she was creating—one filled with tension, uncertainty, but also exhilaration. The crowd roared, their excitement palpable, and for the first time, Louise felt as though she was a true player in this violent ballet. She had crossed a line, maybe even signed a pact with chaos, yet she welcomed it with open arms. Flaunting the ridiculous, blissfully unaware of the storm that was brewing.
Louise hadn't considered that Kate could easily slap the smug grin off Louise’s face and turn this match back to the side of the Heavenly duo.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Nate was now holding onto the ropes. He could hear the referee counting down. He just needed to wait now and it would all be over. Still, every second was painful and humiliating. Damage was being done to him while he appeared weak and pathetic. Nate was supposed to be a God, a Divine warrior, unbeatable and untouchable. How would anyone buy this if he looked this weak and helpless? Eventually, he would be released from the hold and would exhale in relief. His legs were still hurting but it was a lot better than before. The blonde male wrestler just needed a moment or two. He would continue to hold onto the ropes for some safety and to help himself recover.
Kate would also exhale, relieved to see her tag partner now freed. With that, she could probably tag in soon and get into the fight. But before she could tell Nate to tag her in, she would see Louise now making her way towards her. The female blonde wrestler would now be on guard. There was a good chance she would attack her and try to take her out of the match for a bit so that she could stop Nate from tagging anyone and keep working him over.
What came next was a bit unexpected, while she had expected some kind of attack, she thought it would be a physical one, not a verbal assault. Upon hearing her words, Kate would glare at her. Who did she think she was, she got one lucky hit and was now trash-talking, the arrogance on her. Still, perhaps the female blonde wrestler could use this to her advantage and buy some time and turn things around for them. "Wow, what does that say about your teammate, who got her ass handed to her by Nate? You are also talking a lot of smack for someone who had to use a cheap shot to take him down." said Kate in response to her opponent's comment.
With that, she would then throw a punch aimed right at Louise's face, aiming to stun her for a bit and keep buying them all some more time. If the punch connected she would attempt to pull on her hair and then slam her head over and over into the turnbuckle, attempting to get some payback on her for everything she did and said about her tag partner. Nate on the other hand would start to gather his strength and slowly get back to his feet. His body was still hurting but if Kate could keep his opponent distracted perhaps he could sneak up on her.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
The blaring lights of the arena gleamed off Louise's sweat-drenched skin as she stood defiantly ahead of Kate, her heart racing, but for all the wrong reasons. She was like a moth dancing dangerously close to the flame, taunting her rivals with belligerence.
“You're all talk!” she yelled, enjoying the sound of her own taunts echoing throughout the stadium.
The crowd fed off her madness, and in that moment, she was a queen on a precarious throne, holding court with smoke and mirrors.
Kate’s expression seemed to shift from impatience to unyielding focus. There was a burning determination in her eyes, a fire only fans of wrestling could truly appreciate. She had been waiting for the right moment to strike, her muscles coiled like springs ready to unleash devastation on the unsuspecting prey...
...Meanwhile, someone within that raucous crowd—perhaps a seasoned fan—whispered a worried prayer for Louise, who had long since lost any rational thought in the haze of showmanship. If only Polly were on her feet, the comforting force whose voice could pull her back from the precipice of her reckless stupidity. But Polly still lay crumpled on the apron.
...Then it came—a powerful blow, swift and merciless, delivered straight to the jaw of Louise. The impact resonated through her skull like a sudden clap of thunder against a quiet night. Stunned, Louise staggered back, grasping her aching head. But it didnt end there!
Soon enough a two for one, as Louise's head bounced off the turnbuckle pad!
Now Louise wasnt confident, now she wasnt thinking anything but fear.
"GAH! I didn’t expect you to cheat!”
The sheer nerve of it was comical, and Kate and Nate shared an almost telepathic understanding, a silent agreement between them. They were at the zenith of competition, while Louise stood stock-still. As the crowd erupted into mixed reactions—cheers for Kate, shouts of encouragement for Louise—the troubled Cupcake realized she was outnumbered. Two opponents, one on each side, her escape routes all but vanished.
The realization flooded over her, an icy grip of dread taking hold as her mind finally caught up.
"Um... wait...."
Louise had become easy prey, and she knew it!

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Kate would glare at her opponent's response, she was calling her all talk? The one who came up to her face and started to throw insults, the one who had to cheat to get the upper hand? Annoyed and angry at the whole thing, she threw a punch right at Louise's face, striking her right in the jaw. Oh, it felt so good, just punching that face and it had the added bonus of shutting her up. But Kate wasn't done yet, she would grab her hair and slam her head right into the turnbuckle. "How Does That Feel, Not Talking So Much Now, Are You? Where Did All That Confidence Go?" said Kate as she saw her opponent being fearful of the situation she was in.
Nate was now getting up to his feet when he saw the exchange. This is just what he needed to even the odds and get back into the match. He would quickly move behind her. While this was happening the audience would start to yell, though they were all saying different things, some were trying to warn her, others were cheering it on. One of the announcers would start commenting on how she needed to watch out, as Nate was like a snake right now. The male blonde wrestler though would now have a smirk on his face, it was time to put the fear of god into her, mainly the fear of Kate and Nate, as they were gods.
"You calling my tag team partner a cheat when you ambushed me, that is rich coming from you!" said Nate in a cold and ruthless voice as he attempted to grab Louise's shoulder before trying to pull her down while jumping up and bringing his knees up for a backstabber before letting gravity do all the work. The male wrestler would have preferred a more brutal move but his body was still weak and he would need some time to recover for bigger moves, instead, a simple backstabber would have to do. While this was happening, Kate would slap Nate's arm, tagging herself in. The referee would see the tag and signal it. This meant they would be given a bit of time where they could both be in the ring at the same time and perform some double-team moves.
The Divine Twins were in perfect synch, both of them knew what the other had in mind and what they needed to do. Spending years and years wrestling each other had resulted in them knowing each other as well as they knew themselves, letting them work like a well-oiled machine. If the backstabber was successful, Nate would hold their female opponent in place, exposing her stomach. Kate on the other hand would jump on top of the turnbuckle. If her opponent was still being held by her tag partner she would then jump off it and attempt to land right into her stomach, attempting to sandwich her between her boots and Nate's knees. It was a bit of a gamble but if they managed to pull this off, it would put the match heavily in their favour.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Louise had single-handedly derailed the game plan of the Cupcakes, an underdog team that had trained relentlessly under the watchful gaze of their coach. Every stretch, every drop of sweat, every moment in the gym was about to vanish, thwarted by a single unholy rush of adrenaline and misplaced trust.
As Polly's infatuation with the fiercely talented Nate became palpable, the tension in the air shifted, morphing into a storm that swept through the hearts of the Cupcakes. For all their hope and preparation, one fateful moment sent them spiraling into the abyss.
The once vibrant cheers from the crowd echoed eerily around Louise, almost mocking her as she realized far too late that she was standing on the precipice of disaster.
Nate, muscular and relentless, wasted no time. With a deftness that belied his size, he caught her off-guard, his strength disarming her like a strike of lightning. The unbearable pain exploded in Louise's back, searing through her body and forcing her to gasp—a fleeting moment of clarity pierced the haze of confusion. Her heart raced not just with fear, but also with the burgeoning realization that she had become mere prey in a merciless game.
The sensation of being manhandled was numbing and surreal, her small frame pressed tightly against his knees, like a comical sacrifice in a high-stakes ritual. But this was no spectacle of laughter; it was a brutal reality she had not signed up for. A cry erupted from her, raw and guttural, the kind of sound born from the innermost depths of despair.
"UUGGHHHHHH!" was how it began—a cry that echoed through the arena, only to transform into a pitiful mouse-like squeak as the air was forcibly expelled from her lungs.
Meanwhile, outside, there was Polly, wide-eyed and frantic at ringside, trapped in that moment between loyalty and desperation. The invisible string of their friendship tugged painfully at her, urging her to act, to save her teammate who was slowly being dismantled right in front of her eyes.
"OMG Lou!" she shouted, an echo of anguish that vibrated through the gathering crowd. With desperate determination, she tried to lunge through the ropes, but the referee girl, unyielding and armored in authority, struck down her plea with a mere turn of her back.
"Stay in your corner, Cupcake!"
"But they are torturing her, stop being on their side!"
Polly's shout crested like a wave, crashing against an unyielding wall of rules and expectations. The referee girls turned back to the match, her patience wearing thin, delivering a sharp reprimand.
Kate landed the stomp and crushed the last fight from the Cupcake.
"OOHHHGGNNNNnnnnn............................."
Louise fell silent, eyes closed as the pain was like being squashed flat. She had seen something like this before, but never experienced it. Now she knew how Polly would have felt of Nate had managed to pancake her earlier! Thankfully she would flop like a sweet treat off Nate's knees onto her tummy. She lay on the canvas wearily groaning but still had the sense to shift to her side, although her arms covered her chest as the air never came.
Around ringside, fans watched in eager disbelief, their faces a mix of horror and thrill as Louise was worked over, they wanted her to be battered into a jelly-like state that left her vulnerable and barely conscious. The God-like duo could feast on the fragility of their opponent, enjoying each calculated move like the apex predators they were, savoring the moment they would bring Louise to her knees, figuratively.
Excitement and dread mingled in waves; they were just a few moves away from transforming Louise from a fighter into a puddle, an easily pinnable puddle!

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Nate managed to successfully grab Louise's shoulder before jumping back and bringing his knees up. With that, he would fall back, letting gravity now do all the work as his knees stabbed deep into her back. "How does it feel now, when you're on the receiving end of a surprise attack, now so confident now are you?" stated Nate in a bit of a mocking tone. He would then see Kate jumping on top of the turnbuckle. "Now it's time for some divine punishment, this is what happens when you mock divine wrestlers like ourselves." said the male wrestler in a very serious tone.
Upon seeing her tag partner make a move, Kate would immediately jump on top of the turnbuckle with a single leap. It was time to teach her a lesson and show how brutal a tag team could be. With that, the female blonde wrestler would jump in the air. It was a massive rush, the adrenaline and then feeling her boots land right in her opponent stomach and sandwiching her was just utterly exhilarating. Her eyes would look right at her opponent's face as Louise screamed out in pain. It was music to both Kate and Nate. It would probably also make a great poster for them.
Nate would now get back to his feet while Kate would see what was going on with Polly who had tried to interfere but luckily the referee had stopped her. Still, they would need to keep an eye on her. But right now, the Divine Twins needed to keep working over their legal opponent. The referee would come in and tell Nate to go to his corner but he still had a bit of time left and would at the moment ignore her warning. "This is what happens when you insult your betters." he stated in a mocking tone.
"And it isn't over yet. Here is some more double team punishment!" said Kate as the two blonde wrestlers would then attempt to grab Louise's hair in order to get her back onto her feet. If the duo pulled this off, they would both try to put her in a headlock, readying another combination attack. If they managed to do so, the two Greek wrestlers would try to grab her trunks and lift the British wrestler up for a double-team vertical suplex. Assuming they pulled it off, they would take a few steps forward, letting the blood rush to her head before then falling back and slamming her into the canvas with their combined power. Regardless if the attack was successful or not, Nate would then proceed to roll out of the ring, he didn't want to stay in there for too long, otherwise they might risk a disqualification.

Re: The Cupcake Connection vs The Divine Stars - Having your cake and eating it
Louise was in trouble. Double trouble!
She had been caught off guard, and the skill from her opponents, Nate and Kate, was swift and merciless. The moment had come when they had executed a perfectly synchronized double Suplex and were ready to put this Cupcake into the trash.
As she was hoisted high above the ring, the cheers morphed into a cacophony of sounds that echoed through her head—a tornado of adrenaline, fear, and humiliation swirling within her. She barely had time to process that she was being lifted, let alone the gravity of their intentions. Desperation clawed at her throat as she managed to mumble, "Ugghhh wait…” But her plea was swallowed by the roar of the crowd. And then came the inevitable....
BOOOOMMMM!
The canvas quivered under the force of their landing, sending shockwaves of agony through her body. A weak whimper escaped her lips as she sprawled helplessly on her back, the pain radiating through her limbs like a ferocious wildfire.
It was in that moment, as the world around her faded into a hazy fog of confusion and pain, that Polly found a flash of determination. She knew her partner was on the brink of defeat—if Louise stayed down for even a second longer, they would lose everything. The stakes had never been higher. Polly’s heart raced as she fought her own nerves and glanced over at the referee girl, who was still obliviously focused on maintaining order in the chaos.
“Focus, Polly!” she whispered to herself, her mind racing with ideas. Then, in a moment of pure desperation, her instincts kicked in.
“They have a weapon!” she shouted—a blatant lie that fluttered through the air like a spark igniting a flame. Even if it was against the rules, the truth had become irrelevant. She just needed a chink in the armor of the Divine Stars, a fleeting second to seize an impossible chance.
To her relief, the referee girl turned back, eyes wide with suspicion.
Polly bolted, adrenaline surging through her veins, as if the very essence of loyalty propelled her forward. She slipped through the ropes, heart pounding against her ribcage, and raced toward Louise—the floppy cupcake who barely moved. With every ounce of her strength, she lunged and grasped Louise by the boot, determination crafting an unwavering grip on her partner’s future.
“Come on, Lou! This is our moment!” she urged. The crowd was a heartbeat behind, roaring their support, feeling the pulse of the match shift as Polly dragged Louise toward their corner. Would the tag be successful? Would they rise from the ashes like a phoenix, or would the shadows of despair claim them?
In that frantic moment, they teetered on the edge: triumph felt tantalizingly close, a fruit just out of reach; yet the abyss of failure yawned as wide as the horizon. Polly pulled Louise inch by inch—would the referee maintain control, or would the match devolve into an all-out brawl? In the depths of her mind, she conjured visions of sweet victory, of Louise standing tall, their bond unbroken, ready to fight once again. But the haunting thought of bitter disappointment was equally potent, lurking just behind the curtains, waiting for a misstep.
If the referee girl stopped the save, then Louise was done. If it was allowed, then Polly could make a tag and at least prolong the hope of the Cupcakes. She hoped for tag, she had a score to settle with both Nate and Kate. Even though she was outmatched, outclassed and almost certainly out of her depth!
