Blood Feud: Kyo Akamatsu vs Wisteria Khan

Kyo's counter worked perfectly: stunned as she had been, Sheena had run right into his counter, and had paid for it almost immediately by being driven face-first into the mat! Kyo didn't rest on his laurels, though, and immediately he was following up on the attack, scissoring Sheena's trapped arm while wrapping his arms across Sheena's face in a tight crossface, wrenching back painfully on her head, chin and neck.

The crowd got pretty excited at this point, with a lot of Sheena's fans chanting her name and urging her not to tap. Truth to be told, Kyo would have been disappointed if Sheena tapped out this early, but all the same, he hoped to wear her down a lot with this hold. As his arms crisscrossed her face, wrenching back painfully, he felt his opponent kicking her legs in agony. "Give up?" he managed to ask through clenched teeth.

Instead of a response, however, he instead got Sheena tightening her grip around his scissoring legs and pushing up under him. Before he knew what was happening, Kyo felt her surge up under him and roll; the next thing he knew he was on his back, with Sheena lying down with her back against him, pressing his shoulders to the mat in a pinfall. In an instant, the ref was next to them.

"ONE..."

Smart, Kyo thought, cursing as he tried to kick out and break the pinfall. Rolling back to his feet, Kyo would try to move quickly, running to the ropes and rebounding with the aim of driving a hard kick into Sheena's stomach or chest as she got back up. He was in the driver's seat now, he knew, and he had to maintain the pressure on Sheena to stay there...

Sheena cursed herself internally for falling right into Kyo's trap. The consecutive headshots were bad enough, but what made it worse was the man immediately following up by locking in a tight crossface submission, effectively having her at his mercy. Something that Sheena was determined not to let last long as she sucked in a breath and prepared herself before turning and rolling Kyo onto his shoulders and reversing the submission into a pinfall attempt!

Honestly it wasn't ideal for Sheena since it put more pressure on her neck, and Kyo could in theory put them right back into their original position. Thankfully though he couldn't seem to find the vantage to do the latter and was forced to let go of the submission and roll away, giving Sheena the chance to do the same as she got onto her knees and rubbed her arm while looking up, knowing that Kyo would want to try and keep this hot streak going.

Sure enough as soon as he got to his feet he would head to the ropes, bouncing off them and coming right back at her. Sucking in a breath Sheena would push herself up to a standing position while simultaneously turning on her side to avoid the kick attack from her opponent! If she was successful in doing so than Sheena would turn and leap backwards, tucking her legs mid air as she backflipped, attempting to try and land a standing moonsault on Kyo before he could get back up!

Not only was Sheena skilled, Kyo thought to himself, she was tenacious. He had not been holding back with that crossface: had Sheena not managed to roll the two of them over, then Kyo had no doubt that Sheena would have tried to crawl all the way to the ropes, and she might even have succeeded. He had the upper hand now: he really had to take the fight to her if he wanted to keep it.

With this in mind, he wasted no time in lunging at Sheena with a kick that would have knocked her flat...if it had connected. Moving with speed that Kyo hadn't been counting on, Sheena gracefully spun to her side, evading the kick. Cursing. Kyo landed hard, and had to take a vital half second to regain his balance and keep from falling over.

It was a half second that cost him: as he spun around again to face Sheena, the Akan girl backflipped, launching herself at him with a moonsault. Instinctively, he moved to catch her around the waist: that might have worked against an opponent who was lighter than him, but Sheena was close enough to him in the weight bracket that it didn't matter. The full force of Sheena impacted to him, and he went crashing hard onto his back at that moment, with Sheena on top...

Managing to escape that dreadful crossface had been enough of a reward on its own. But getting a pinfalla attempt out of it, as well as a shot at getting some payback from the ensuing positions was even better. Managing to bring Kyo down to the mat with a well timed dodge that left him flat on his back against the mat.. Perfect for Sheena to land a follow up standing moonsault on him!

Crashing into his body with a satisfying impact Sheena knew she had a perfect chance to gain the advantage here. Curling her legs around his head from on top of him Sheena would look to squeeze tightly in a vice grip for a reverse headscissors! If it worked than Sheena would make sure to place her hands on his hips to push herself up, both to add more leverage for her scissorhold, but also to limit his own ability to try and do the same to her with his legs.

Kyo winced as he found himself now flat on his back, flattened to the mat by Sheena's timely moonsault. A part of him expected Sheena to try to go for another pinfall attempt, then and there. To his surprise, however, Sheena instead did what Kyo would have done: used their grounded positions to go for another crushing submission hold as she locked her legs around his head, executing a crushing scissor hold!

He gasped, and very quickly found himself pawing at Sheena's thighs as his skull suddenly felt like it was being crushed like a walnut. Instinctively, he tried to counter by lifting his legs for a scissor of his own, but Sheena was one step ahead. using her hands to press down on his hips, preventing him from raising his legs. Sheena's fans were cheering her on now as Kyo's face reddened, both from the sheer pressure, the lack of air circulation...and the fact that this position, for better or worse, gave him a close up view of Sheena's shapely butt. He cursed inwardly, knowing that this was NOT the time to get distracted.

Knowing that he had to get out of this hold before he tapped or passed out, Kyo pressed his elbows against the mat and arched his body, trying to roll the two of them over so Sheena was on her back. If he managed that, then he would press his palms against the mat and kick up, hopefully elevating his body vertically off the mat...before bringing his knees down again, aiming to drive them into Sheena's exposed midsection!

If that managed to make Sheena release her grip...or at lease loosened it...then Kyo would try to grab at Sheena's ankles and yank his head free, before using his position to roll Sheena onto her front and fold her boots over one another behind her thighs. From there, he would try to press his own boot heel down on Sheena's locked ankles to keep them pressed down, before reaching over to grab her wrists, aiming to yank them back and stretch at Sheena's body with a modified surfboard!

Of course, this all depended on him getting free from the iron prison that was Sheena's thighs...and if he failed, then he might still find himself trapped in those deadly scissors...

Sheena had managed to counter out of Kyo's clutches more than once and each and every time she did she turned the tables and locked him in a hold or landed some form of damage in return. But this in particular, landing the standing moonsault and transitioning into a headscissor felt especially... satisfying and effectual. More than the rest, as if she could actually put the male away from this position.

Perhaps that may have been true if she could keep the hold locked in, but naturally just as Sheena was adept at finding ways out of Kyo's clutches was he too adept at figuring his way out of her own. Feeling them suddenly turned over and rolled so that her back was against the mat Sheena knew instinctively that this was an incredibly bad position to be in as she immediately began fidgeting and shifting to try and roll them back over, but it was too late! Kyo managed to use his freedom of movement to bring his legs up and drop them on her stomach!

"Agh!" Sheena yelled out loudly in pain as Kyo's knees dug into her stomach. Things wouldn't end there however, before she had a chance to do anything Sheena found herself rolled over again and her legs tangled up before getting pressed down by Kyo's own leg. "Ngh what are you- Agh!" Sheena's question was cut off as before long Kyo moved to grasp Sheena's wrists and pull her arms back for a painful surfboard stretch!

"Ngh... Damn..." Sheena hissed to herself, knowing she couldn't let this kind of strain on her body continue for too long. Sucking in a breath of air Sheena would bite her lip as she tried to shift and turn herself while in Kyo's grip. There wasn't much movement made, but Sheena was starting to build up smoe measure of momentum, and the more she had the more she'd keep up, trying to turn herself over with enough force to get on her side! If this worked it'd throw Kyo off her and if nothing else, free up her legs to get them under her so, even if he managed to hold onto her ams, it'd be much easier to pull free!

Kyo let out a soft exhalation of breath as he managed to literally turn things around, elegantly folding Sheena's legs behind her thighs and then locking in a surfboard. The Akan girl, for her part, wasn't simply letting him lock in the hold: she furiously twisted left and right, visibly holding back her pain as she tried to get free, even as the surfboard torqued painfully at her shoulders and back.

Little by little, though, Sheena was able to roll them over onto their sides. From this position, Kyo wasn unable to stay kneeling on Sheena's legs, and so they came free from underneath him. Cursing, Kyo decided that he needed a backup hold, and fast...and given that he was still holding onto Sheena's wrists, he could still do so.

Gritting his teeth, Kyo shifted his grip, trying to lock Sheena's arms under his armpits and lock his hands behind her head in a hammerlock. At the same time, he would try to shift both of them up into a sitting position, and from there, try to snap his legs around Sheena's toned waist in a body scissor! If all went according to plan, he would continue to wear away at Sheena with a debilitating hold, hopefully forcing her to either work to escape or tap out...

Kyo's current hold was definitely a major problem for Sheena to overcome. Not only was it painful but it also kept a majority of her limbs locked down in a way that she had no real easy way to retaliate. Which just meant that in order to get free she had to free up some limbs. Luckily while the hold itself secured all her limbs. Only two were actually being held down, those being her arms, her legs on the other hand.. those only had Kyo's weight keeping them trapped.

Hence Sheena rolled over, getting the man off of her and partially freeing her. Unfortunately however that's as far as Sheena could get before Kyo locked her arms up once again before turning her and wrapping his legs around her waist as well! "Ngh!" Grunting out in pain from the scissors Sheena would suck in a breath before smirking. This hold was tight, but unlike the surfboard it didn't have her legs secure, so her way out of this one was actually quite clear.

Pushing her feet against the mat and pushing back Sheena would grunt softly as she arched her back to aid in the effort her legs were making as Sheena worked to try and force Kyo's back against the mat! If it worked successfully Sheena would hope to reverse the submission into a pinfall in order to force Kyo to let go!

"ONE!" The ref counted, already getting to work counting the pin.

Kyo's hands were now locked behind Sheena's purple-haired head as he locked his ankles, squeezing hard to punish those fit abs of hers. He was rewarded by a groan from his opponent, her arms neatly trapped as he started to squeeze into her midsection. It wasn't the most elaborate of submission holds, and indeed, Kyo doubted it would wring a submission from Sheena...but at least it would wear her down a little, and soften that midsection of hers up for future holds, like a possible abdominal stretch--

His train of thought was cut off as Sheena suddenly veered backwards. Surprised, Kyo now found himself pressed on his back, with his shoulders on the mat. Even worse, the ref was starting the countdown!

Cursing (and also impressed by Sheena's resourcefulness), Kyo released Sheena and shoved her off. Moving quickly to roll up to his feet, Kyo grabbed for his opponent's arm and tried to pull her up, aiming to whip her across the ring before ducking low, running past her as she rebounded and then hopefully wrapping his arms around her waist and nailing her with a back body drop as she rebounded again!

Caught in another submission by her foe Sheena had to think quickly and adeptly to escape with minimal strain on her part to reduce the damage she took and the amount of time she'd need to recover. So given their positions she did what seemed natural and pushed her feet against the mat to force them backwards and pin his shoulders down against the mat in order have the man's shoulders pinned against the mat!

Luckily her plan worked because just after the first count and before the second Kyo released his legs and pushed her forward to free Sheena as she rolled a bit away from him! "Hagh..." Sighing softly in relief Sheena wouldn't get much of a moment of reprieve before she was grabbed once more by Kyo and then getting Irish whipped into the ropes again!

'Not good. Gotta be quick here.' Sheena thought to herself as she hit the ropes back first and rebounded towards Kyo, the man already in motion to duck past her to get to her from behind!

'Oh I don't think so!' Sheena thought to herself after feeling his grip and getting lifted up. Throwing her legs forward to pull herself down Sheena would smack his hands to break his grip! If successful in doing so Sheena would then make sure to grab his arm and pull it up before pivoting and leaning forward while pulling it, attempting to throw him over herself with a judo throw!
