Agnes Claudel

Post by Cosmos »

Name: Agnes Claudel
Age: 19
Height: 5'6
Weight: 157lbs
Sexuality: Bisexual
Alignment: Babyface
Nationality: American
Entrance Theme

Personality: A girl with a kind and graceful nature, yet with strong willpower hidden behind her gentle eyes. Sweet and respectful, Agnes is the type to apologise for locking her opponents into submission holds and striking them despite the sport granting her free reign to do so. Has a powerful sense of duty, and despite her seemingly fragile nature, can stubbornly keep rising against foes in the ring until she is truly spent and exhausted.

Backstory: A divorce between her parents shortly after her birth saw Agnes being raised in childhood by her mother. When she was age 12, her mother passed away, and there was little option for Agnes but to live with her father who had since entered into politics. So focused was he upon his electoral campaign that he regarded anything else in life as a mere distraction, which included his own daughter who he sheltered from the world. He viewed her as a nuisance and even a potential liability, fretting that the opposition would spark rumors that she was the lovechild of an affair with a mistress if her existence were to become public knowledge. The strained, uncomfortable relationship led to Agnes adopting her mother's surname to distance herself from her father, especially after his controversial election win which employed a hardline anti immigration stance against foreigners.

When she was of age, Agnes joined Princeton University and became close friends with Renne Bright when discovering she was standing for student council president against a rival candidate. The nefarious youth had been intimidating and attempting to bully Renne to dissuade her from standing in the role. Yet with Agnes' observations of her father's political maneuvers and Renne's cunning nature, they succeeded in exposing him to the student body and the teaching faculty who expelled him from the school. Foiling his devious plot helped inspire confidence in Agnes to stand up against bullies and those who seek to use political power for their own selfish motivations, which she saw first hand with her father.

Upon learning that Renne had successfully completed her course within a single year and was leaving to take up pro wrestling in Japan, Agnes considered her own naivety and how best to address it. Curious about understanding life for the common man, Agnes decided wrestling was the answer. That night, a fateful confrontation transpired with her father where she disowned him for his controversial political views and considered this the end of her relationship with him. Leaving him behind once and for all, she followed her best friend to Japan in order to expand upon her sheltered view of the world through the ring.
