Jem had always harbored a love for for her hobbies as she grew up. She had been fortunate enough to be born into an upperclass family. One that saw to it that she get into whatever disciplines she wanted and learn whatever talents she wanted. She found herself bouncing between several different hobbies once at various times throughout her youth and adulthood. From sports to dancing to singing to music playing to drawing to traveling to studying, foreign language and so forth- she felt like she had tried it all. Upon reaching the age of adolescence, she found herself needing a change of pace and ultimately deciding to commit to a hobby, and she chose video games. After several years spent playing, the young woman decided that she could embrace the community and culture further by streaming. But even with her bubbly personality and conspicuous sex appeal, she struggled getting the number of viewers she wanted. She had randomly mentioned being a pro wrestling fan once while on one of her streams and word got out about it, garnering her numbers that were much more to her liking. She'd spend many more months streaming and developing a decent following by including moments to discuss the pro wrestling scene at the time. One day, after streaming WWE 2k, she got a few suggestions to take up pro wrestling in general for the sake of benefitting her streams. To her fans' surprise, she actually saw that suggestion through and began training to become a pro wrestler. Jem joined a wrestling gym and began training. She'd show her recorded matches from the gym on stream and discuss them, which was received rather well by her fan base. After doing this for a few months, she'd eventually decide to join a wrestling promotion, but they all turned her down upon hearing her reasoning for wanting to join. All of the,, except LAW.
When she did get to try out for AFW, she impressed the talent scouts with her enthusiasm and ability to learn. To their surprise, she already had the makings of a wrestler that could hold her own. Her hobbies and intentions coming in effective gave her a gimmick and her prior training made her proficient enough to stand out amongst her group of applicants. With a proficiency in submission holds, grappling, striking, and an enthusiastic attitude, combined with her good looks, Holland passed her tryouts and joined the AFW roster.
Personality:
Jem has often been described as bubbly and outgoing throughout her life. The young woman has always tried to portray herself to otheres with an odd charisma. Her forays into various studies make her more knowledgable than she looks. While she's generally got a working moral compass, she's not above doing questionable things for the sake of furthering her endeavors into her hobbies. The young woman wrestles for the sake of her fan base, and because it's fun. But she'll engage in specific matches, compete under specific stipulations, wrestle specific opponents, attempt requested spots, or even occasionally lose willingly if it means appealing to her fans or those close to her.
