Vincent is laid back and cool. He doesn't often get emotional, but not to the point where he buries his feelings. He's a man who knows himself, and carries himself accordingly.

For the most part, he's a cool guy to know, always being willing to lend a helping hand to his friends. He also cares a lot for the underdogs in life, in large part thanks to his brother, who was once a professional wrestler as well before an injury took him out of the game. He'll readily offer guidance to one, but if he feels that it'll help them make the most of their potential, he'll play the antagonist to push them to greater heights.
Backstory:
Spoiler
Vincent Castellano is a dedicated wrestler, having gotten his start on his high school team with his brother and going on from there in an effort to escape the troubled home they grew up in. Aspiring to take it to a professional level, they enrolled in a school instead of going to college and began their career as a tag team in the indies. In the midst of a heated feud, his brother would be locked in a fateful kneebar that would tear his ACL and force him to retire. As they were the Heels -- and instigators -- of this feud, this news would be met with cheers from the crowd.

This would embitter the younger Vincent to the world, who would make a vengeful start to his singles career by ending those of his and his brother's foes, running one over with a car and putting the other in the same kneebar that took his brother out. From there, he would simply attack whoever the fans loved most, weaponizing that submission hold and attempting to do the same to them. He would eventually find a calming influence in the form of Nyx Alexander, who understood his misanthropy and sympathized with his mission against the fans, but was opposed to ending careers when he could simply assert his dominance with the beatdowns that the brawler was known for. After failing to persuade her to his way of thinking (thanks in large part to the influence that her good friend Alix Jacques had on her), he would follow her suggestion.

However, he wouldn't do much more right by her: His good looks got him plenty of female attention, and he would often accept the offers he was given, denying the affairs and explaining them away as innocent interactions. That is, until their relationship reached a down point as relationships tend to do, made worse by Nyx standing by her principle during his feud with Adam Blitz, who spoke ill of his brother. A trigger that had him determined to end his days as a professional wrestler.

And he would try to do just that, but not without screwing his fiance first. And seeing her relatively merciful stance as a betrayal in and of itself, he didn't put any effort into hiding this from Nyx, which resulted in a stormy breakup.

It would come back to bite him in the final showdown with Adam. Three Stages of Hell: First a Street Fight (his specialty), then a Submission match (Adam's), and finally, a Last Man Standing match. Fueled by rage, it was a brutal ride all the way through. Both men were more focused on beating the hell out of each other then they were in winning the matches. But eventually, after much blood has been shed, they would.

After a vicious ramming of the steel steps into Adam's skull, and later dropping them onto his ribs, the contest became very one-sided in Vincent's favor. First the Street Fight, then the Submission match, and it appeared that he was set to ensure that Adam would never compete again.

Delilah, Adam's fiance, ran out to the ring just as Vincent prepared to lock in the fatal kneebar, armed with a baseball bat. Not wanting to watch him being hurt to such a degree, she turned on Vincent. As he was busy dodging most of her swings, an arm having been rendered lame from the one he had to block instead and his mobility impaired by a blow he'd taken to the knee, Nyx made her way down as well, carrying a steel chair.

At first, it appeared as though she was there to even the odds, which the crowd and especially Vincent himself couldn't believe. He admits to cheating throughout most of their relationship, even throwing the most recent incident in her face, and yet she shows up to defend him? It was in that moment, after having been cornered with what looked like oblivion on the horizon, that he began to regret it all.

And then Nyx nailed him in the head with the chair. The first shot of a two-on-one beatdown that would leave him unconscious. After that was done, Delilah would help her fiance beat the count. The match was still lost, but the war had been won.

Nyx would then blast her with the chair as payback for her part of the affair, Adam when he tried to stop her from doing any more damage, and put Delilah to sleep with a particularly lengthy and punishing Diphenhydramine Special that started with her against the ropes and ended with her being kicked out of the ring.

But that's another story.

Vincent would never show his face in that company again. And for almost five years, he wouldn't be seen in the American wrestling world outside of television broadcast. Immediately after this massive comeuppance, he would become an everyday sight at a local bar, trying to leave his emotions at the bottom of bottles and glasses: Anger at himself for failing to avenge to disrespect done to his brother, and in their own hometown, on top of that. Those nagging feelings of betrayal that would only make his guilt more intense. And the pain that came with the acceptance that he put himself where he was.

It was here that he would cross paths with Shun Yamamoto, a well-known Strong Style wrestler who had come to the states as a part of an international partnership. Along with wrestling, he would also mentor troubled youth, oftentimes using training as a means of clearing their minds and instilling the discipline to steer them onto the right path. At twenty-six years old, he was older than his typical mentee/trainee, but he would take him under his wing nonetheless.

And when it was time for Yamamoto to return to his native Japan, Vincent would follow, just as his newfound father figure had hoped. After completing his training, Vincent would then begin a new chapter of his career in the land of the rising sun. He would do well here, both as a competitor and as a person, but he would eventually feel the need to return to the States to make a second go of it. To do things right and show that he's truly turned a new leaf.

After learning of this, Yamamoto would approach LAW management to put in a word for him, and soon after, Vincent would be approached with a contract.

He'd done the talk, and now it was time to do the walk.
Preferred Matches: Anything but Hentai and other assorted lewd matches.

Strategy:
Spoiler
Although trained in the mixed martial discipline that is Strong Style, Vincent is still very much a brawler he's always been, preferring to turn his matches into fights and go knockout hunting. Opponents who engage him in this manner will find themselves facing a strong, hardy opponent who can soak up the damage just as well as he can dish it out. He utilizes a kickboxing style much like his mentor Shun Yamamoto, but also utilizes knee strikes more commonly seen in Muay Thai, along with some of the street fighting "style" that he's largely known for.

Although he generally respects his opponents, he won't hesitate to fight brutally, whether his opponent be a man or a woman. He won't resort to the low blows and eye gouges commonly performed by Heels unless they're done to him first, however.

Grappling-wise, he commonly gets technical for only as long as it takes to set up the next blow. Or in failing that, he'll target his opponent's arms, weakening them for when he eventually locks in the Kimura. It was an intentional focus on his part; an effort to further himself from his days targeting Faces with the kneebar in tow.

And as opposed to taking his time beating down his foes, he now seeks to end his matches as soon as possible to minimize the damage done.
