Xander Scarrow, known in the ring as Excess, was born and raised in the town of Gatineau. His father was a very wealthy and successful man who was always bitter he couldn't take part in wrestling, and so made sure that he would have his son become the most capable wrestler ever, putting them through all kinds of training and boosters from an early age to make him as capable in the ring as imaginable. Of course, Xander simply went through the paces to please the old man, but when he finally reached the age where he was interested in women, his dear old dad had to face the reality that the stud he had made was more interested in sex than wrestling, and wasn't going to give his old man the time of day now that he had the freedom to do whatever he wanted.
Eventually, it was as Xander started his career in porn that the elder Scarrow could no longer take it, and ended up taking his own life. The suicide note left behind wasn't something Xander took too much to heart despite how disparaging it was, but as a gesture to stay in the good graces of the media, he opted to drop the pornography career and get back to practice to join wrestling "In his dad's honor". Though in truth; it's just that he'd heard of LAW's hentai matches and; hey, a paycheck's a paycheck, right? Not like he'd inherited anything.
