Growing up Rekka faced many challenges. His mother worked tirelessly to provide for the family, often taking on multiple jobs to make ends meet. Despite their financial struggles, she made sure that Rekka always had a strong sense of pride in his Mexican and Japanese heritage. She would tell him stories about his father's wrestling career and show him videos of his matches, igniting a passion for the sport in Rekka from a young age.

Seeing that L.A.W. is a big worldwide Pro-Wrestling Promotion, Rekka decided to take his career further, compete in the big leagues, become super famous, and sign up with the company as a representative of Lucha Libre.
