Wrestling Information

General Stats (Stole this template from...like, everyone. Thanks everyone! XD)

-Endurance: 3/5 - His training through being part of the high school swim team, soccer, and wrestling have given him great stamina, but his smaller body can only take so much damage, from his opponents attacks and his own, before it gives out on him. The spirit is willing...but the body can fail.

-Strength: 3/5 - Swimming, soccer, and the genetics of the two best superkickers in wrestling history have given him strong legs for kicks and submission attempts, and he has more upper body strength than it might look, able to land several suplexes and slams on equal or lesser sized opponents, and do at least a few to larger opponents, but the bigger his opponent is, the harder it gets, and the longer the match goes, the more he'll have to struggle and fail.

-Speed: 5/5 - His best attribute, Gold Ace can move fast, able to clear the ring in seconds and quickly build up momentum as he throws his body towards his opponent. This can be a problem if somebody counters him or hits him mid-run, as it sends his momentum out of control and cause him to crash.

-Defense: 3/5 - In theory, he knows many of the correct reversals or counters to holds, and that information can serve him well, but he is still developing the natural instincts and reaction speed that more experienced wrestlers have, which can hinder him. Also, his body can only take so much, so blocking attacks is counter-productive.

-Technique: 4/5 - Gold Ace has been around the ring since childhood, and has been trained by two high level veterans since his early teen. His technique is extremely strong, however he's still a rookie in terms of actual legitimate combat, and so might have some issues

Wrestling Stats

-Strikes: 3/5 - He's REALLY good at kicking, has a couple good knee strikes, and he can hit a good lariat with enough speed buildup. However his punches, chops, and elbows tend to be rather weak against anybody bigger or stronger than him.

-Submissions: 3/5 - Uses submission holds to wear down his opponents over time, rather than go for direct submission wins. Good knowledge of holds and decent execution, though his size and lack of overall strength makes them less effective.

-Power Moves: 2/5 - Capable of a few power moves if the opponent is of equal size or smaller, has a decent lariat, but the bigger the opponent, the less he can do against them.

-Aerial Moves: 2/5 - Can pull off basic to intermediate aerial attacks, but lacks the skill and flexibility to pull of the truly wild aerial moves like 450's, 630's, shooting star presses, and such. Some of his own air attacks hurt him as much as the do his opponent.

-Counters: 3/5 - Has a good book knowledge regarding counters and reversals to holds, and often can pull them off pretty well, but his smaller size can make it more difficult to pull off, especially against larger foes, and he is still developing his instincts, so can miss "tells" that otherwise would help his counters and reversal.

-Hentai: 3/5 - What Gold Ace lacks in sexual experience, maturity, and overall skill, he makes up for with his eagerness, athletic body, enthusiasm, his sexual curiosity and willingness to experiment, and most importantly, his willingness to listen to his partners sounds, following the pitches, breathing and reactions of his hentai opponents and alternate and tweak his technique to find the perfect technique or rhythm. Gold Ace considers himself a romantic, and truly wants his hentai opponents to enjoy the pleasure he gives them. In terms of defense however, his lack of overall romantic and sexual experience can cause him to get flustered when given the same treatment, and he lacks much in the way of sexual defenses.

Strategy: Gold Ace is aware that he is short and lacks a whole lot in muscle or body fat, and that his speed and technical abilities are his best asset. As a result, his style is based around using his technical skills and hard kicks to weaken his opponents body and limbs, allowing him to use his speed to gain an advantage over them. From there, he proceeds to use his body as a weapon, throwing it with wild abandon at his opponents to try and maximize damage.

Style: Aerial/Technician

Preferred Matches: Standard, Submission, Hardcore, hentai, Humiliation, 2/3 Falls,

Attitude towards hentai: “S-sure! That sounds g-great!”

Favored moves: Dropkick, Shotgun Dropkick, springboard knee/missile dropkick/clothesline/forearm, enzuguri, high cross body, tornado DDT, suicide dive, corner cannonball, octopus stretch, super kick, cartwheel elbow, diving headbutt, Sharpshooter, german suplex, fisherman buster, codebreaker, backstabber, falcon arrow, hurricanrana/frankensteiner, figure 4 leg lock/headscissors.

Signature Moves:

Space Ace: A reverse russian leg sweep, where Gold Ace hooks his leg around the opponents and hooks their arm for leverage, bends them back, then throws their body forward while sweeping their leg out from under them, driving them face first onto the mat. Can also be done from the top rope.

Gold Rush: With his opponent laying against the bottom corner turnbuckle, Gold Ace charges from the opposite side of the ring at full speed,

Dark Side of the Moonsault A backflip off of the top rope, famously a staple finisher of his other mother, Valley Doll, done to either a standing or fallen opponent.

Finishing moves:

Golden Star Splash With his opponent down on the mat, Ace leaps off the top rope as high as he can possibly get, adjusts himself in mid-air, and comes down with as much force as he’s physically possible to generate onto his opponent with a splash so powerful it routinely knocks the wind out of him at minimum, and can do serious damage to himself if he misses.

Shining Ace: With his opponent on at least one knee, Ace moves to a nearby corner and charger as his opponent, taking a step off of their knee and swinging one leg out, so that the flat of his foot *CRACKS* against the back or side of his opponents head in a combination Shining Wizard/Enzuguri attack!

"Goldo Lariato": Ace bounces off the ropes and charges towards a dazed opponents with all the speed in his body and swings his arm out to crash into their chest/neck and drop them to the mat with a powerful Lariat. The name is actually "Golden Lariat" but after an excited fan speaking in broken english called it that during a match, the name has stuck among fans.

GIlded Heritage: Kicking his opponent in the stomach to bend them over, Ace traps his opponents head between his thighs, hooks both their arms, and jumps upwards, forcing the opponents body to follow him, as he lands on his knees, planting his opponents trapped head face first into the mat with a Pedigree

Personality: Outside of the ring, Garfield is a bright and thoughtful young man, raised to be patient, quick witted, and kind by his mothers. Growing up around women his entire life, with not much male influence, has led him to gain some feminine traits, which, when combined with his looks, has gotten him teased and picked on for his perceived lack of masculinity and “femboy-ish” personality.

As a result, he tends to stay quiet and keep to himself if he can help it, usually trying to avoid being the center of attention in any groups or crowds and not be noticed or singled out at all, and preferring most interactions to be one on one, usually giving brief and blunt responses when called upon to speak. When in a one on one environment with someone whose company he enjoys however, he pays rapt attention to his companion, and often can impress with his quirky sense of humor and eagerness to tell interesting stories or bits of trivia about whatever subject matter is at hand, though he tends to get flustered and nervous when shown any form of romantic affection, and this can lead to him being manipulated by attractive women.

In the ring however, things change. Before he enters the squared circle, to combat his nerves and confidence issues, he meditates and focuses his mind, and steps into the persona of Gold Ace, a wrestling character and personality that he had created in his youth as a fantasy character, now becoming reality.

Gold Ace is, simply put, meant to be everything Garfield feels he is not, but needs to be to make it in LAW. As Gold Ace he’s got complete confidence in his abilities, believing himself to be every bit as good as his name claims, and also becomes a playful brat, willing to play pranks and mess around with his opponents in the ring, rather than take the fight completely seriously.

Gold Ace also sees himself as something of a ladies man and romanticist, despite this not being the case. Still, he’s got enough bravado to try anything, either in the game of romance or in between the ropes, and while he can be annoying, it’s still meant in the spirit of good competition and fun, with Gold Ace notably having an easier time interacting with and befriending others than Rail himself. He’s also rather reckless, which, combined with a higher risk/reward kind of style, can bite him in the butt from time to time.

Past/History:
The son of famous former AFW pro wrestlers Silver Ace and Valley Doll, along with his sister Valley Doll 3, Garfield grew up surrounded by pro wrestling his entire life, watching his parents matches, meeting their wrestling friends, often spending time, once old enough, wrestling for fun with his sister at his parents gym or at official wrestling events before the show, even watching in fear as various “Monster Heel” types made various attempts to end his parents careers, (not that any ever succeeded)

Having a love for the sport seared into him for a young age, Garfield and his sister took to training early on in youth, choosing sports that helped benefit their athleticism, with Garfield particularly excelling at sports that took advantage of his speed and smaller frame, such as soccer and swimming.(His attempt at joining the high school wrestling team however…did not go as well. Turns out small people get smacked by bigger people, regardless of training.)

Finally becoming of legal adult age, having years of training under his belt, and having developed an entire wrestling persona for him-self, and even learning to sew in order to make his own custom gear, Ace would get his chance at wrestling fame with LAW. Luckily for him and his sister, nepotism is a bitch, and simply having the fame of the family name was enough to secure him and his sister a try out match with LAW scouts, where they impressed enough to be given contracts.

Fun Facts:

The creation of the “Gold Ace” persona he would later use came during his time in high school, as being the son of two famous wrestlers, as well as being a rather…quiet and somewhat timid person, led to more than a few bullies wanting to pick fights with him, usually leading to the small blonde getting beaten up, or having his bigger sister have to defend him in fights. As a result, Garfield created the idea of “Gold Ace”, a wrestler who was everything he aspired to be in his own life, confident, bold, and brash.
The idea of creating an actual character to be his wrestling persona, and to meditate beforehand to enter the headspace and mindset of the character in question, is something he learned from his mother, Silver Ace, who did something similar with her own “Ace” character, and who wanted to teach her son how to do so in order to help his chances of succeeding. While it felt strange at first, Garfield quickly fell in love with the practices and concepts, and has practiced meditation and yoga ever since.

Garfield developed a passion for sewing and outfit design in his youth, when drawing pictures of what he wanted Gold Ace’s attire to look like. Now, years later, he’s become proficient enough at it that he designs and makes all his own ring gear by hand, and has even offered his services to other LAW wrestlers to design and make their gear…for a price.
Garfields middle name, Railentine, is a combination of the names of Rai and Valentine, two adorable kitties who were long time pets of his mothers, Ace and Valley, who passed away before he was born, and, wanting to honor their pets, gave him the name.

To the surprise of many, Garfield has a mischievous streak in him, and enjoys playing pranks on friends and fellow wrestlers. These range from harmless to slightly convoluted, and Garfield rather enjoys that his quiet and un-assuming nature makes it rare that anybody suspects him of being the pranker…though his sister ALWAYS knows when its him, knowing his “tell.”

Garfield actually hates the name “Garfield” and has no idea why his mothers decided to make his first name be the same as a famous cat, when his middle name was already the combined name of two cats.

As a result of the above, Garfield, from a young age, started going by his middle name, which he’s shortened to “Rail” for the sake of simplicity. This has actually caught on so well with his family that nobody has actually called him Garfield in years, and “Rail” actually appears on all his legal documentation.

While Garfield has gained his parents taste for classic rock and metal, he's also heavily into EDM and Synthwave music.

While wrestling is Garfields first love, he's also a total nerd, with a love of both sci-fi and fantasy books, shows, and games, even with a podcast he started where he rambles with joy over the stories and tropes he loves in the genre. It has very very few followers. If he gets popular enough in LAW, he hopes to start a wrestling podcast and invite other wrestlers to join.
