Strategy and Style – A stalwart powerhouse grappler who uses a variety of strong style wrestling, MMA, and Tae Kwon Do in a fluid utilization that employs non-stop pressure to never allow his opponent a second of relaxation or time to recoup. A more fleet-footed striking and submissions based approach is his main bread and butter, so whenever grounded an adversary can expect him to continue onward with a methodical mix-up between a ground and pound, burly sleeperholds, or joint targeting submissions. Brandishing a physique capable of withstanding its fair share of punishment, although a movie star’s lifestyle has expectedly whittled at his endurance levels for pain alongside fostering an insistence on him being the center of attention at all times.
Preferred Matches – Standard, Submission, Hardcore, Cage.
Match Type: First Blood Match

Out Of The Air
1) Seismic Crash – Any movie star worth his salt knows there's only room within the limelight, and Max takes considerable satisfaction in sending his adversary back to the bottom of D-list celebrities. Upon situating an adversary on the top turnbuckle and holding their upper half in the air, the martial artist gestures for his foe’s downfall before releasing them into a dynamic knee strike that leaves them seeing stars…besides the one who just kayoed them. Also applicable as a Canadian Backbreaker position into a GTS.

1) Sole Bearer: Quaking Tiger - A byproduct of sheer movie magic and his own tireless efforts towards practicing his Jeet Kune Do, Max reminds his adversary’s why the worst place to be is at the receiving end of his feet as he performs one spinning heel kick to rattle them before swiftly swatting them in the face repeatedly. Smacking them silly, senseless and further disorienting them before culminating with a combination sweep and extended roundhouse kick straight to their face or abdomen.

Past/History: Opening on a windswept forest from a high vantage point, spanning throughout the treescape at a sprinting pace to match galloping woodland creatures. Sunlight breaking throughout the leaf strewn canopy above with an almost ethereal radiance as the pace becomes heightened. Woodland creatures galloping out from within the forest to settle beside a cerulean creek, the cascading overrun of a flowing waterfall noticed off in the distance as well as a lone figure sat beside this natural wonder upon a flattened bedrock. A stoic figure garnered in a brown gi and whose legs were crossed with eyes closed from the world he wished to further his oneship with. Meditating introspectively, until a disturbance comes in the form of…
…Max was never a fan of when origin stories take forever to get to the interesting material. It’s why movie scripts offered to him by his agent that start with this much set-up tend to be discarded before he reaches the third page. Fighting prodigies can have origins much less cinematic than you typically see in the theaters, such as Max being born Zhang Li in Hong Kong to an opera singer father and an actress mother. A relatively mediocre student who never excelled in anything academic amongst a culture who cherished excellence, he became somewhat enamored with celebrity from his parents who used their influence to get him minor acting roles on television. After high-school Max traveled to San-Francisco to live with relatives and continued his college studies there. The wayward youth raised in particular by an uncle who operated his own renowned martial arts dojo, trained by several traveling masters well into his adult years.
Inexplicably proficient in Tae Kwon Do amongst other fighting styles and establishing himself as a quick learner, Max’s training regimen crafted him into a muscled brickhouse as he continued honing his dedication to his craft. Even winning several competitions with a patented one-inch punch that left opponent’s extremely hesitant to ask for a rematch. Those aforementioned family connections alongside his naturally rugged good looks enabling him to take his first humble steps into a movie career, cast in supporting roles until his breakout performance as the lead in “Enter The Fist”. His online celebrity fostering a cultlike status about him as his popularity and filmography rose, eventually staring in major Hollywood productions. Although in between films, Max does entertain signings from wrestling leagues willing to pay generously. Mainly to keep his fighting skills top notch, but also to stave off claims from skeptical film critics that his career may be in decline…

Fun Facts:
1) Max has insisted on performing all of his own stunts since first breaking into show business, and it has in effect become one reason as to his rise in fame. Stuntmen suggest he may end up shortening his career should something ever go awry, but Max considers this as merely the price to pay for stardom.
2) He’s been known for wandering off set in cases of extreme boredom, search about underground fighting clubs for intriguing sparring contests. This has made him a nightmare to insure, with directors consistently terrified he could get his million-dollar face battered into a pulp in the middle of filming.
3) To this day he's never had a stable girlfriend despite his celebrity status. A hesitance towards having children brings about his indecisiveness in spite of his mother routinely calling him about when he’s going to settle down already.
