L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

It's come to the mod team's attention that a few users have been claiming too much references. Note - if this is regarding original art or original characters, this is not talking about you. You actually own the characters.

As per references (be they from any sort of media or random pics you found online), several users have been, what's been dubbed, reference hoarding, with characters made around said reference by users with too many characters to count already. If you have enough free time to RP as all of them, that is not a problem.

However, down the line, this might pose a problem if a new person wants to use a character, and it's already been claimed by someone who is not using a character. While difficult to execute, eventually, a plan will be put into place to check the activity of all reference based characters, and their activity. Those with little to no activity after at least a month since creation will be discussed with the owner to either drop the character, or put a plan into motion to use them.

I’ve been busy but I’ve had plans for the new people I have

I am going to be releasing some, mainly the ones that I have not gotten art for/aren't planning too and such since IRL gets in the way the things and I know that I shouldn't be keeping them. It's just that when I made the decision to make them I was in a better state of mind. Though I don't have many compared to some others I know for a fact that I should still release some. And I will even put in here the ones that I do.

TBH a lot of my recent additions are adopts because others had no plans and I did just haven’t had time to try them yet

The main issue is that there is a 'rat race' to steal all the characters from a brand new anime, video game or otherwise the moment they are revealed. It happened with RWBY, the new generation of Pokemon, and that MMD Wrestling music video thing. People nab them without any plan in mind on what they intend to do with them.

On my part, I deeply apologize for claiming characters from said music video. I've had full intention of making them for LAW when the other people involved were ready to post their profiles (I've actually had a full profile waiting in the wings), but that still hasn't happened. I was expecting a much faster turnaround, and I wouldn't have signed on board if I knew the others would be this behind.
