We Are LAW PPV Card

Unread post by winner3 »

As discussed in this thread , we're going to be proceeding with putting together a ppv (pay per view/special) in the coming months. This thread is dedicating to helping put together a card by having users volunteer/set up matches that they'd like to take part in for the event. Before asking to be included in the event, though, please read the details below.

When is it?

I want to We Are Law to take place at the start of the semifinals or finals of the Middleweight Championship Tournament. At our current pace, that should take place sometime in either this upcoming December or January.

How do I get a match for the PPV?

Sync up with an rp partner to be sure they're down for the match, too, and then please comment on this thread or message me (after having read this post and and making sure you understand all the rules/restrictions) with the match or segment you have in mind.

Are there restrictions/rules?

Yes, there's a few to be mindful of:
  • A character will not appear in multiple segments. For example, if character A has a promo scheduled for this PPV, they won't be able to compete in a match in this same PPV.
  • For a character to be able to take part, they must have finished at least one match prior to signing up.
  • Every match taking place must have some kind of build. I don't care how big or how small it is. You can do a one page promo or a backstage thread or make your PPV match the third or fourth match of a series in an ongoing feud. The match only takes place if you build towards it in some form or fashion.
There will be no one-off matches on this pay per view.
  • If you plan to do a promo or some type of non-match segment, you don't have to build towards it.
  • If for some reason, you need an exception made for a match or idea for We Are Law, reach out to me via private message, discord, or trillian, and we can talk about it.
  • And finally, if there are still slots/space available
Slots? How many slots/matches are available?

We can't simply have any number of people submit any number of matches or segments, unfortunately. There will be a limited number of matches/segments available for We Are Law. The worst case scenario is that we start the same time as the Middleweight Tournament semifinals, which will be two matches and then subsequently the final, which is one match. The Loser's title match is set to take place during the pre-show. Altogether, that's already possibly 4 matches.

I'll try to ensure that everyone who wants to take part gets to in some form or fashion. As of right now, tentatively, there will be 8 matches available and 3 non-match segments. If that needs to change, I'll let people know. If you have any questions, feel free to comment with them or reach out to me.

Thanks again to everyone for bearing with me as I try to do my best for you all. And thanks for being part of what makes this community awesome :)

Updated the card with stipulations proposed for each match. PM'ed everyone on the card for confirmation that they're still willing and available for their PPV matches. Aside from the 1 or 2 people I'm waiting to hear back from, we should be good to go.
