Miranda vs Monoka

"Come on...Come on..." Mira pleaded softly just wanting Monaka to stay down to show that she could do it....to prove that she belonged in this league that she could advance. Thankfully Monaka wasnt moving and as the count got near the end Miranda would start to feel a bit of hope rise in her. The ref brought her hand up once more time and for a second that felt like it dragged on and on..She finally brought it down.

"THREE!"

Mira let go of her leg, but stayed on Monaka for a second as she felt a smile run on her face. Kicking her legs in excitement she pushed up and came to her feet, jumping in the air as her hand was raised! She had done it! She was in! One step closer to the Lightweight title, To showing the world that she was more then just a jobber to bigger girls. Stopping for a second she coughed as exhaustion kicked in again before looking down at Monaka and moving over to them. "I guess....your pretty tough huh?" She said nervously offering her a hand.

And with the final count, Monaka's defeat was sealed. Letting out a groan, feeling disappointed over her loss, she would remain on the mat as Miranda celebrated her well-earned victory. And then, she heard Miranda's words as she offered her a hand.

"Guh..." Groaning, Monaka gave the offered hand a glare, but then she sighed before she took the hand. There were times to be cocky, but this wasn't one of them. She would let herself be helped up by Miranda. "Heh... good luck for the tournament..." she said begrudgingly, showing her own respect towards Miranda in her own way. "Next time, I won't lose..." she promised, telling her fellow lightweight that next time, she would be the one to emerge victorious between the two of them.

Well least in the end things could be respectful. Mira would be appreciative for that, her attitude didnt feel like an act but at least it wasnt her defining trait. Helping her up slowly and making sure she could stand Miranda gave her a friendly pat on the shoulder as she offered her congratulations, which she was grateful for. She had seen some of the top lightweights, and she knew she was gonna need every ounce of luck she could get from anyone.

"Hehe..maybe next time we face off ill be wearing a nice little belt to my entrance." She said hopefully, it was a tough road ahead, yet she could still dream about the possibility. "Im sure you'll bring more to the game next time around and look forward to seeing what else you got." Though once she was done there she wanted to go back to appeasing the crowd, waving at them and giving them another, albeit slower, dance for the road.
