Strategy and style: Elanor exploits her tall and slender elven figure on combat to use quick and fast attacks stabs of her rapier, as well as dodging those of her foes. SHe is quite experienced in street combat and will not shy away from any dirty tricks to gain an advantage, not caring for grace or virtue.
Physical abilities: Due to her martial training Elanor has some strength that she can use if necessary but unarmed combat is not her forte. She will generally only resort to it if she must and try to retrieve her weapon as fast as possible.
Preferred weapons: Elanor like using her rapier as it allows her to use fast stabs. She is also able with any lighter one-handed blade, but anything more than that will slow her too much for her to be comfortable.

History: Elanor was born in the trading city of Forlone, located technically within Elven territory but outside the forest, on the same plains as large human cities. As such it quickly became a trading post and a mixing pot between the two races. These days it is inhabited by a mixture of elves and humans, the city more closely mirroring nearby human settlements than those of the elves and filled with traders. As such the local elves are shunned by their counterparts living deeper in the forest, but due to the money to be made in trade, there are always ones willing to try. Because of the importance of trade and the many willing to try their luck, trading conflicts turn to violence quite often, and you would have no trouble finding mercenaries willing to either protect caravans or do some dirty work.
Elanor was born into the city to a smaller trading family, wealthy enough that owning a house and necessities weren’t a problem, but they couldn’t rest easy as a larger trade war could end up destroying their income. Being the first, and so far only, child in an Elven family it was no question Elanor had to get involved in the family business. At first, her parents pushed her to learn stewardship to start helping out and one day manage the company on her own. However the girl showed no talent at all, the long lectures boring her to death as she lagged behind her peers. However, at the same time, she revealed a haughty personality, often picking fights with her peers over petty matters, and not once successfully beating up her fellow students, regardless of gender or size.
Seeing her actual skillset Elanor’s parents decided to stop her education in stewardship, and instead put her into martial training. There Elanor wasn’t dominating her peers but she could easily hold her own, being among those fighting for the higher spots during the training tourneys. During her training she developed her fighting style of quick and agile attacks, and after finishing her training she soon ended up helping her family business with her skillset, not shying away from doing the dirty work of sneak attacks on rivals in back alleys and the like Just as any warrior and mercenary in the business she had her close calls but she proved herself on the field even more so than the academy as she never shied away from dirty tricks and ruses to catch her opponents off guard. With her reputation growing she soon got into mercenary work for other traders around the city, as she moved out from the family home to live on her own. She will still help out her parents, who she loves as it is thanks to them she gets to do what she really likes and has a talent for, instead of slaving away behind a desk.
Personality: Elanor is determined and fierce. She loves the thrill of combat and finds it hard to back down, which can end up in her going in over her head. However, she does realise when she’s completely chanceless and try to retreat. She’s still proud and arrogant when not looking for battle, and is generally not a friendly person.
