Legend of the Warrior Princess: The Saga of Fang: Episode Two

The Traveller was coughing and hacking from the smokescreen cloud that Oscar created. As she would cough and gag as she and Oscar emerged from the smoke, she saw that she too was covered in a lot of soot.

"Ugh, gonna need a nice, long bath after this." The Traveller commented as she looked back to Oscar, "I'm ready to run." With that, the two would take and head back to the throne room.

Elsewhere, a robbed figure was some distance away from the stronghold. They sensed what was going on in the stronghold, but decided not to move quicker towards it; feeling confident that the one person they were after was still in there.

"My only regret is that I can't see the look on a father's face. I suspect he's angry... and likely surprised"

The two made it to the throne room- the passageway still open from when the enslaved villagers passed through them. 9nce through, the prince sealed the passageway behind them for added security. Soon, after running through a torch lit tunnel, the duo were outside with the rest of the villagers who were waiting for them.

"Well, at least you were able to get the drop on him with that move, and strip him of that weapon." The Traveller commented as the two were making their escape, "I'd say that alone is a win."

She followed Oscar to the passageway and watched as he sealed it off. From there the two would make their way through the tunnel and out to the other side where the other prisoners were waiting for them.

"What my father said was half true. My mother taught me of some magic- just not how to properly use it. Father never knew. Blowing myself up is... probably the best I can do. Don't expect this to be a regular thing"

The duo were out and safe- the exit to the tunnel sealing itself off once they were out. The moon and stars shined down on the large group as the cool night wind welcomed them back to the outside.

"Now... I don't suppose you know where the nearest safe village is, do you? We have to take these people somewhere..."

"[color=#800000I mean, you can always practice.[/color]" The Traveller suggested to Oscar as the two were now in the clear. As the two were now away from the Barbarian stronghold and were under a night sky, there was still a matter of where to go. As Oscar asked the Traveller about where to go, in order for the prisoners to get to safety.

"Unfortunately, I'm not too sure. I'm not quite aware of these parts." The Traveller admitted, "Besides, I think it is best if we part ways here. I'm sorry that I have to leave this group to you, but like I said, I will only keep you all in danger so long as I'm around."

Oscar would gently nod his head at the Traveler as she explained that they must part ways.

"I understand. Don't worry- I'll take care of these people with my life. I swear it on my honor. And... thank you. For helping me find the courage to take a stand for what I believe in"

The prince bowed respectfully to the Traveler.

"I bid you good luck in your quest- and may our paths cross again someday"

The Traveller bowed to the prince as well, as she said, "Can't say I helped, but thank you very much for the compliment." As she stood back up and looked at the group of former prisoners, and listening to Oscar saying that may they meet again, she turned back to look at him.

"Yes, may we meet again. Preferably not in a fight as enemies." The Traveller teased.

"That would be most preferred, yes"

The Prince chuckled at the Traveler as she walked off before quickly calling back to her.

"Oh- before you go, may I ask what your name is? I'd rather refer to you as something other than 'Traveler'"

As the Traveller nodded and would begin to walk away, Oscar asked for her name. Since they were basically allies of the previous situation, and could be comrades again, it was only fair that she shared her name.

"Fang." She would finally respond, "My name is Fang."

"Fang... an interesting name. Almost sounds like a Barbarian’s name"

Oscar chuckled as he prepared to move out with the former prisoners.

"Until we meet again, Fang! Consider yourself an honorary member of MY clan! Perhaps I'll see about forming my own... with those with stronger hearts, of course"

With a respectful bow of his head, Oscar would take his leave with the prisoners- determined to find a safe place for them. A new home- Perhaps for himself as well.
