Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Korra's body was screaming in pain, yet it felt stronger than ever, the anger and the adrenaline pushing her through the pain. In response to mikasa's attack, Korra put her leg back a little to strengthen her stance as she threw an uppercut-like straight punch to meet mikasa's fist, resulting in a shockwave that blew away the sweat off their bodies. But the clash was continuous like a beam struggle in DBZ and with a mighty roar, Korra overpowered Mikasa and by finishing her uppercut motion, she forced both their fists swing upwards, leaving Mikasa temporarily exposed. Simultaneously, Mikasa's momentum still carried her body forward a little while Korra took a step forward, bringing their faces as close as possible, which resulted in a slow motion moment where Korea's pupil-less eyes and grit teeth stare into Mikasa's before thrusting her free fist as deep into Mikasa's abdomen as physically possible, doubling the woman over. Korra would follow up by grabbing onto Mikasa's hair and crotch area before violently spinning her with a roar and then releasing her head first into a wall.
Then, Korra would walk towards Mikasa, menacingly, before grabbing her by the ankle and pulling her out of the wall like a vegetable.
Then, Korra would proceed to stand over Mikasa... Menacingly.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
An attempt to shut the awakened Korra down only resulted in a brief power struggle. Even as the resulting shockwave shook a bit of hair, Mikasa would hold her ground even as another surge carried their fist up. A minor setback as the two laid in close proximity not losing contact until Mikasa was literally beaten to the punch. "Aahh..!" Feeling as if her inside were turned to mush while doubled over, Mikasa found herself lifted off the ground with ease, not even given time to process the impending collision.
The entire venue was virtually unrecognizable due to the many holes caused by their intense game. Somehow not having a shattered skull, Mikasa would be brought back to the fragile earth, forced to roll onto her back and gaze at the goliath looming above. It has been a while since she felt this small and even a bit fearful. That didn't mean she was staying down forever. Before the glowing woman could hound her, she would throw her legs up in quick succession to strike Korra's throat, using them as a distraction to roll from harm's way.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Korra leaned down and wound her fist back, about to pummel Mikasa into paste, but before that could happen, a foot connected with Korra's throat. "Ghuagh!" Stunning her momentarily before the second foot connects and pushes the avatar back slightly.
It was when Mikasa rolled onto her front and was getting away, she noticed that when she pulled on her legs in order to get up, she couldn't do it, something was holding them...
"Leaving already?" Korra asked mockingly, with a small smirk appearing on her face. "Let me help you out with that." She would say calmly before hurling Mikasa by the legs towards a wall and immediately dashing after her.
Ideally, Mikasa would bounce against the wall and then Korra would punch her with full force, blasting her through the wall and into the outside world.
If Mikasa hits the wall back first, then Korra's punch will land at the center of Mikasa's chest. If she lands front first against the wall, then Korra's fist will smash against the center of Mikasa's back.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Managing to land a counter attack while laid down through her legs, Mikasa hoped to use this extra time to rest safely "Aah!" However she found herself suddenly immobilised as the bender instantly recovered. Unable to thrash out of Korra's grip, she knew that the next few seconds would be excruciating. Her world spinning as she hurled towards the wall facefirst, yet somehow her nose didn't break. However the ride didn't end here as she was flung back into the Avatar's clutches once again. A hardened fist almost broke through her skin entirely and split the soldier in half.
A howl followed by Mikasa's body shaking as she was launching into the wall once again, this time actually breaking through the brick wall, forcing the raven haired fighter to experience sunlight. Who knew even the gym wouldn't even enough to contain their fight? Mikasa's flight came to an end as she dropped stomachfirst into the pavement accompanied by a muffled squeal. Nobody was around to witness this unusual event, but they might ask there was a 1.75m long crevice on the ground. It was a miracle that her bones haven't disintegrated, even if the agony made Mikasa twitch every second. In this heavily wounded state, it might have been wise to just throw in the towel and limp away, but she couldn't the handle the idea of being unable to protect Eren even for this petty squabble.
Thus a punch to the earth elevated Mikasa to a stand while spreading more debris. It may take a few seconds for her to recharge enough to sprint again. In the meantime, something caught her eye. A long stop sign. They didn't shy away from using weapons before and this mildly resembled her signature titan slaying tool. A mere grasp of the handle dislodged the stop sign. At breakneck pace, she returned to the battlefield and unaffected by the additional weight. Leaping back into the gym through the opening where she was previously thrown out of. Once inside, she took another leap towards her unaware opponent. When Korra turned to see the source of air cutting around her, she would witness Mikasa twirling around as she downwardsclubbed the bender with the rotating stop sign! Not even halting after the first collision, by throwing a sideways swing moments after!

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Korra was looking into the outside, through the mikasa-sized hole that she made in the wall. Holes and dents were everywhere at this point to be honest. A few more of those and this gym might collapse... But it seems like this would be the last hole as Mikasa was just twitching on the ground.
"Good riddance..." Korra murmured under her breath before turning around and cracking as well as massaging her shoulders.
"I really need a shower right now..." The avatar commented whe turning off the glow in her eyes and proceeding towards the wrecked shower rooms.
That was when Korra heard a footstep behind her. She quickly turned around and her face was showing her surprise as Mikasa looked better than she was a moment ago as well as that stop sign that Mikasa was wielding like a stick.
BONK!
The sign itself smashed down into Korra's head, giving a new meaning to the word 'metalbender' as the top half of the sign bent on contact with Korra's head. "Ghhaah!" Korra did raise her arms to block the attack, but the pole left a mark on them and overpowered, forcing it's way down to Korra's head regardless. This folded the avatar, but Korra refused to fall to the ground, digging her foot in.
The glow in Korra's eyes returned, lifting her face back up, visibly gritting her teeth. "You should've stayed dghwoah!" Korra may have thought she would look cool and make a badass comeback, but Mikasa broke the anime rules and did not let Korra talk. She was busy swinging the massive pole like a bat and the impact was what interrupted whatever Korra had to say or do.
Instead, it turned into a silly grunt or a yelp before Mikasa proceeded to spin that baby right round.
The sign itself snapped completely before Korra instinctively grabbed hard onto the pole while her feet dragged through the floor. Korra's plan was to get a proper footing and stop this, but before she could put this into action, Korra was lifted into the air by the pole before getting slammed down hard, making yet another hole in the ground. "Ghraagh!". Korra let go of the pole...

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
From an outsiders point of view, the gym resembled as if it got hit by a hurricane, earthquake or whatever natural disaster. The last being more fitting as Mikasa tried taming this force of nature with a stop sign of all things and it actually worked! Landing multiple hits with her now makeshift staff, there looked to be only a few more uses before she would be forced into her usual beat em up moveset. The wielder then thrusted the metal pole downwards to jab and then suffocate Korra through the neck.
With little control of her strength in one hand, Mikasa's weapon began to bend, so she would work around this by reeling the pole backwards so the snagged Korra would be forced for a ride. In quick succession, she dropped the tool aside and prepared to halt the bender through a swinging hook to the throat. This strike would have supposedly left her rival numbed and victim to further calculated punches to the neck area, only a snap would stop Mikasa as she carried the stubborn fighter about with more strikes.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Korra was groaning on the floor, trying to contemplate why wouldn't this woman just give up. Maybe now was a bit too late to think about that, considering she was the one being laid out flat at the moment, gazing at the opponent with one half-open eye who's standing over her. This was really pissing her off but she couldn't quite tell why.
Korra should be glad that she was looking, at least as she noticed Mikasa wind back the pole before thrusting it at her. That realization spiked her adrenaline levels and Korra went into the avatar state again, catching the pole with her hands just before it would've imbedded itself into her throat.
"Gghh!" Grunting and struggling ensued and one of them eventually had to give way. However, what gave way first was the pole, the tip being bent in Korra's hands, practically metalbending with her bare hands.
Probably seeing that this was going nowhere, Mikasa yanked back hard on the pole, practically launching Korra towards her.
Korra knew she had to end this fight somehow no matter what. She was getting Increasingly frustrated, increasingly furious and Increasingly desperate as she caught a punch to her throat... ...with her throat. "Ghrwoagh!" Korra spat out, but she did not let this stop her.
Korra would immediate put her right hand on Mikasa's wrist and her left hand on Mikasa's forearm while in one smooth move, with her right leg kicking off Mikasa's thigh and lifting her legs over Mikasa's throat and chest.
Then, with a furious roar, Korra would try to drag Mikasa down by the arm and lay her flat on the floor with a wicked and brutal armbar. Brutal, because if this move was successful, then Korra would bend Mikasa's arms on the direction that it wasnt meant to bend, using all of her might.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
Just as she was about to crush Korra's windpipe with her weapon, the storms suddenly picked up again. Mikasa couldn't comprehend why she was unable to lock that accursed state for good. At least the scales weren't heavily against her, as their worn physiques meant she might be able to win the tug of war. After reeling Korra to slug her throat, she could only land one additional albeit lighter strike only for Korra's counter maneveure sinked in.
Unable to process her true weapons being seized, Mikasa was suddenly flipped onto her back and restrained by the submission hold. "GRRHGHHHHHH" As if releasing a titan's roar but unable to power out of this excruciating armbar no matter how much she thrashed. Maybe an indomitable will, but that meant little when literally disarmed. As her body compressed due to Korra's overwhelming her own, Mikasa let out a blood curdling scream that overshadowed the bonesnapping. Thrusting her torso, she would end up slipping out of the hold a bit too late. Sitting down and realizing that her feared weapons were dislocated as inhumanly possible, she was utterly defenceless, yet still desperate to rise again even if it meant she only had her head.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
After a show of resilience, followed a show of agility. Placing her right foot on Mikasa's body and holding onto her wrist, Korra practically climbed up Mikasa's body to wrap her legs around Mikasa's arm almost in an instant.
A thud followed as the two women fell to the ground. Korra roared just as loud as Mikasa. The sounds were a good indication of the brutality of the arm bar, as if a titan was taking care of Mikasa's arm.
Suddenly, the flexibility of her opponent increased and the arm just slipped out. Korra quickly rolled backwards and onto her feet, breathing heavily as well as hard, feeling the consequences of the blow to her throat.
Korra would soon look up and see where all of the flexibility came and even in her avatar state, Korra was visibly frozen for a moment, especially seeing Mikasa slowly rising up again with that 'thing' hanging from her shoulder.
Korra grit her teeth and got her nerve back. "You still wanna go?!" Korra said, her fists at her sides, her chest visibly heaving with every breath. "Come then, I'll break your body next!" Korra would declare angrily. As threatening as that is, it's mostly meant to psyche herself up than anything.

Re: Attack on Avatar - Mikasa vs Korra
By some random miracle, Mikasa would prevent herself turning into a statue even if her posture resembled more of a zombie. Whether if her stressed mind was filled with hallucinations or continuous sores, the soldier felt like her insides were melting, somehow making a fight against a dozen Colossal Titans more appealing in comparison.
After scrambling out of Korra's hold and rising against all odds, she too would be seen frozen for a short time, not needing to take a glance knowing her enemy was about to pounce. Only victors are allowed to live and shape their merciless world. "You call...that strength..." Between huffs, she would respond by merely throwing the bender's threat aside step forth, as if aiming to spin and club Korra with her less wounded arm, rather wanting to fall like a warrior.
