Team WFPW vs. Team LAW (Anything Goes Faction War)

Teuila took a few quick deep breathes in preparation as she pumped herself up one last time before the bell rang, prompting her to bolt forward like lightning out of a bottle. Luckily her target was right in front of her and was already coming in towards her. A brief glance around her told everything she needed to know about what her team mates were doing, making use of their various specialties.

Astrid's raw power and technique, Tina's experience and aggression, Chloe's grace and Harmonia's toughness all shining out of the gate. But what about her? What would she show? Well the answer was simple. "GRAHHHH!" She'd roar out as she threw her entire body weight into Kaleidoscope, hoping to tackle her down to the mat and immediately open up with a ground and pound on the woman if she was able too, aiming to show off her grit!

The show had gotten under way as Team LAW advanced their forces against Team WFPW as Harmonia had Emily trapped in the corner. Emily was overpowered easily down to her knees and the Bearhug Harmonia gave her made Emily grunt in pain as it was clear she had no time to prep against Harmonia’s muscles. Harmonia would give a brief reprieve to Emily before trying to launch for a chop fest! Emily grunted as her chest absorbed about five chops slowly making her chest red. Emily’s eyes brewed with tears as Harmonia didn’t hold back, but she was taught to fight through the pain and what didn’t kill her made her stronger. She fought through all that pain in high school when people abandoned her so she took these chops in stride. Emily launched her right foot back low blowing Harmonia straight in the crotch area to get her off her! If that managed to work, Emily would get Harmonia on the ropes trying to fire off quick chops to the chest of the general manager herself!

For Kai, it was an honor to duel with Astrid and Astrid met her in the middle for the old school lockup. However, Astrid knew this match was bound to go fast with just a lot going to happen and so, she would grab Kai trying for a Belly-to-Belly Suplex! However, Kai would take a few seconds to flip into the Suplex and then back on her feet as the crowd cheered for the counter! Kai’s martial arts taught her how to effectively maneuver around strong foes and how to evade taking high damage. It was something to count on to stop Astrid in her tracks. Kai smirked at the crowd before turning to try for an Overhead Kick to Astrid’s head and follow it up with a Roundhouse Kick to the stomach of her blonde opponent!

Shelley grunted as Tina’s knee hit her gut and a Dropkick made her drop back into the ropes as Shelley clung to the top rope! Not too shabby, but Shelley still had her jacket on which padded the damage and lessened it for her. She’s in a street fight essentially so anything could help her. Shelley tried going forward grabbing Tina by the waist and hitting her down on her stomach for a Body Takedown before switching to around front and hooking the arms in a Double Underhook Hold trying to wrench on them and keeping Tina grounded! It was time for Shelley to bring back her glorious MMA action!

For Cinderella vs. Chloe, Cinderella knew her evasion was her best bet here. Chloe would try for a Dropkick, but unlike Shelley, Cinderella hit a cartwheel to evade it so Chloe would wind up on her back! Cinderella blew her a kiss back as the crowd cheered the princess on. Cinderella would try to stand back to Chloe and go for a Standing Moonsault on the Pristine Pegasus provided Chloe didn’t do a quick reversal herself!

Sophia wouldn’t be so lucky with a reversal of her own as Chris kicked her in the gut and hit a devastating Stunner as Sophia went on her back. Sophia held her chin as she grunted in pain having her hair cover her face.

Kaleidoscope widened her eyes as Teuila pounced on her for a Lou Thez Press as the black woman felt her head grabbed and punched more times than she could keep up with. Kaleidoscope couldn’t react in time and tried pushing Teuila off, but the punches kept coming! She could only try to latch her legs around Teuila’s midsection and trap her in a bodyscissors hold! She squeezed hard as Kaleidoscope was trying to halt Teuila’s momentum!

Chris' sudden offense seemed to surprise Sophia, as she easily fell the brunette with her stunner. The rocker immediately got back up to her feet, and grabbing Sophia's wrists. She had momentum, and wasn't going give the upstart room to breath is she could. Her knee wrenched back as she pulled Sophia up to a kneeling position, before pulling her closer and into a Kamigoye knee strike.

Everyone was off in their own match ups, all evenly matched. Even the self-proclaimed captain, who the rocker may or may not have enjoyed seeing get low blowed from the corner of her eye. Personal feelings aside, everyone was putting their best foot forward for their respective brand. As the sole lightweight in the match, Chris had to keep up with them all, show LAW didn't make a mistake adding the small girl to this lineup.

Turning her back to the brunette, the rocker would leap back for a standing moonsault. She just had to keep the cocky gal down and out. Until something stopped her, that would be her entire focus.

All around Astrid, tempers were flying. A part of her couldn't help but feel just a little disappointed - this was supposed to be a one-off exhibition; a showcase of the best wrestlers both LAW and WFPW had to offer, with nothing on the line but putting on the best show everyone could. And yet, the others had let their personal feelings run high. At least she and Kai were an island of stability in the middle of it all. Both of them were proud of their skills and accomplishments as fellow athletes, and both of them wanted to compete honestly. In starting the match off with a test of strength, Astrid was putting herself on even footing with Kai...but she would still be the first to make a move when she tried to take charge of the momentum, throwing Kai to the ground with a suplex!

However, it was just then that Kai managed to flip herself over in the air, catching herself on her feet! The crowd cheered such a demonstration on her part. It wasn't often that a wrestler was both strong enough to go toe to toe with Astrid Ostberg, yet also agile enough to pull off such a skillful acrobatic maneuver! The Norsewoman looked back in Kai's direction, her eyes wide. She was just as impressed as everyone else!

Being impressed wouldn't save her from what Kai was about to do, though. Her first kick landed with a crack, causing Astrid to reel backward as she veered to the side. And her second kick was enough to take her off her feet - already teetering off balance, Astrid's footing was swept out from under her, and she dropped to her knees, hissing under her breath. The world around her was spinning, and she needed to pant a few times to collect herself. Kai was definitely proving to be a force to be reckoned with...

And that meant Astrid needed to step up her game to match! Sucking in a breath, she looked back up at Kai from where she crouched on the mat. "So far, so good," she said. "Let's see how long you can keep that up!" Just then, Astrid shoved her feet against the mat to hoist herself to her full height - and with the momentum from her ascent, she'd dash forward, attempting to ram her full weight into Kai for a shoulder charge! If she could manage to take Kai off balance, she'd proceed to scoop her up onto her shoulder before bringing her down with a fireman's carry slam!

Tina's offense landed but it didn't seem to do much as Shelly came right back at her taking her down and hooking her arms! Tina grunted, groaned and kicked the mat as she kept trying to escape. She knew the longer she was in this hold the worse off she would be. Tina tried to thrash and buck hoping to turn the two of them hard to the side or cause them to roll, anything really to get Shelley to weaken her hold to allow Tina to escape!

Chloe jumped in the air, hoping to land a dropkick right on Cinderella, but all she got was air as she ended up landing right on her back.

“AGH!” She yelped, before holding her back in pain, luckily for her, Cinderella was still in sight.

Chloe watched as Cinderella jumped high into the air, and Chloe in response, held both her legs up high, hoping to catch Cinderella with the soles of her shoes.
