L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

The arena had been the site of so many great matches tonight in the first PPV of LAW. Wrestlers won, wrestlers lost. There were upsets, squashes and close calls. Everything that you expect from LAW. The buzz for the next great match or spot was palpable. Chants, cheers and hysteria dominated proceedings.

As the PA blasted into action, the mood took a turn. Instead of cheers, a chorus of deafening boo's rang out as the sound of Prokofiev was heard with the usual ominous notes. The theme tune of the Imperial Russian Empire. The heel tag team were not due to fight at tonight's PPV but this would never stop Natasha and Valentina from ruining everyone's night.

The pair, wearing their usual Russian Red bikini's and boots walked out onto the ramp and slapped hands, seemingly to enjoy the boo's and crowd reaction. They walked down the ramp, largely ignoring the fans who threw popcorn and shook their hands at the pair. Natasha stopped and saw a young fan with a sign which read, Melody & Navi = Tag Team Champions. This naturally riled up the purple haired Russian. She snatched the home made sign and Valentina took the opposite end. With a smirk they tore the sign up much to the fan's dismay. Then they proceeded to throw the torn pieces to cascade over the fan like snow, and the young fans tears.

The heat the pair drew was beyond heels. They were super heels. They walked off laughing and made their way to the ring, climbing in and it was Valentina who took a microphone. In the middle of a ring was a table and chairs, a paper and pens were on the table.

Natasha arrogantly and disrespectfully sat in the chair and put her feet up on the table, sat back with a smirk that was annoying smug

As the crowd booed them, Valentina spoke

"Yes yes boo. BOOOOOOOO! You people are pathetic!"

Natasha nodded as the pair laughed amongst themselves

"You idiots will be sorry to hear that the Imperial Russian Empire are not in action tonight..."

A cheer erupted causing Valentina to sneer

"... As I said, we are not gracing you with a premier display of tag team wrestling, we are here for a very different matter. You see, my talented partner, Natasha has many many enemies. Most of them have been crushed or succumbed to her devastating smother holds and been floored for the 3 count..."

As they talked, a video played of Natasha pinning, and smothering rivals from past matches

"Yes, just like this, however, there is some unfinished business with a certain wrestler on the roster. A wrestler, if you can call her that, who is in need of some... Russian Hospitality"

A small chant started in the audience, a few of the crowd seemed to know who it was, but Valentina continued

"It seems a few of you agree. So this is why we have a table and a piece of paper, it is a contract"

Valentina lifted up a paper and waved it at the crowd

"A contract which is for a match, a match where my lovely partner will put her supreme skill against the... haha 'skill' of her rival..."

The crowd grew restless and so Valentina held out a hand and beckoned toward the ramp

"So, I know you are out there in the back, and please come to the ring.... KATHERINE HART!"

Truly the Russians had soured the mood. The past couple matches were pretty hyped. After good showings from the lies of Melody Serperior and Helena Dubios, and Grace Kenning and Samuela, the fans in attendance at the PPV special were eager to see who'd make their way to the ring next. And with expert timing, the Imperial Russian Empire dashed those expectations and "graced" everyone n the arena and the fans watching at home with their presence.

Valentina and Natasha did their usual shtick. The jeers and boos practically fueled their egos as their took their place in the ring. Val spoke with a tone animosity and condescension that caused folks to roll their eyes and groan. Natasha sat idly by, putting her feet up as if she owned the ring she was occupying with her tag parter. Despite all this though, there did seem to be a change in their routine. A contract of some kind, held up and waved around by the buxom blonde. And with it, a demand. A demand to for the presence of a woman that had tangoed with the Russians. A demand for "The Super Kitty" Katherine Hart.

Surely enough, about half a minute after Vladinova called out for her, Katherine's theme song began to play, and the purple clad, cat themed wrestler entered the arena, waving to the legions of fans that welcomed her with cheers and whistles. Normally the masked heavyweight would take some time to acknowledge the audience for bit, but she began to march down the entrance ramp and towards the ring in a bit of a hurry. Hart would slide under the bottom rope and pop up to her feet before asking one of the production crew for a mic. With a slightly annoyed look on her face, she'd tap her foot before beginning.

"Tokyo, what's up! Happy to be here for my pay per view debut....Val...Natasha... do we really have to this right now?
I kinda have a match against someone that I need to be ready for. And it's in like, ten minutes." Katherine would say in an annoyed tone.

Kat would then look towards the paper in Val's hand and comment.

"Actually, let's backpedal a bit. What are you two playing at? What's your goal, here?"

As Kat appeared to the loudest POP of the night, both Valentina and Natasha smirked at one another. The crowd all saw it and were expecting some underhand cheap tactics from the Imperial Russian Empire who would do anything to win a match or get the advantage over a rival. Kat was understandably cautious, the pair in the ring had not only history but a dislike for one another.

As Kat spoke, Natasha arrogantly laughed and waved a hand to dismiss the Super Kitty like the ring was her Royal Russian Courtroom.

Valentina however was far more graceful and the foil to Natasha's hot headed nature.

"Ah yes Kat. Your match. Well I must thank you for daring to come out to see Natasha and I, it is brave, but then again you do have nine lives...."

The crowd groaned. The joke was terrible. Valentina however brushed off the reaction and continued.

"You don't need to fear either Natasha or myself, and we know you do! Understandably. However we are on strict instructions from the CEO that we are bound to a non fight clause. It means even if we wanted to.... And we do want to. We cannot beat you down and take some of those kitty lives off you!"

The crowd cheered much to the annoyance of Valentina

"You people are so predictable. Yes. Cheer for the Kat. Pathetic!"

Valentina would turn back to Kat and smile

"Also this clause means that you Kitty Kat cannot raise a claw to either of us, or you forfeit your match tonight."

The crowd booed. They wanted see Kat slap both the Russians. Natasha meanwhile got up from the table and stood to attempt to goad Kat. She bent forward and thrust out her chin, tapping it with a finger, begging Kat to strike and face the consequences.

Valentina however was more concerned with business.

"Now Natasha don't tease the kitty. But Kat, this contract is for another match. Now it is said you are the Queen of the submission hold in LAW...."

Another huge pop from the crowd in acknowledgment of Kat's in ring skill.

"... Oh I am sure you are. They all seem to think so. But.....there is one move you suck at. Keeping a girl down for a three count... Natasha here is not only Queen of the Smother, but she is Queen of pins! And there can only be one Queen, yes?"

Valentina paused to let Kat respond

Despite the crowd reaction to Valentina's joke, Katherine actually chuckled at it a bit. She was a sucker for a corny joke, and was even known to make them, herself at time. The Super Kitty would pace left and right as Valentina spoke, occasionally shifting between making eye contact with the big brute, and the dismissive purple haired Russian that sat in the chair before her.

The circumstances that Val explained almost made Katherine sigh in relief. She'd raise an eyebrow when Vladinova mentioned a clause that forbid the trio from laying hands on one another, tonight. Katherine continued to wear her usual smile. She'd place a hand on the table and lean in to hear the rest of the Russian mouthpiece's spiel. And not a moment after, Natasha rose to try and goad the Super Kitty into attacking. Hart would only stare at her somewhat blankly before chuckling and turning down the opportunity uppercut Natasha into next week.

The masked woman would return her attention to Val when she went on to explain her aptitude with submission holds. She'd nod and the crowd would exclaim their approval. But Val's follow up perked the audience's interest and Kat's as well. The blue eyed heavyweight would hold the mic up to her face to rebut. She'd completely forgo giving any attention to Natasha. After all, if Rostavik was too 'good' to dignify Katerine with her words then Kat was more than happy to give her the same treatment. The Super Kitty would stand up straight and direct her attention to Val.

"Only one queen, champion, whatever you wanna call it. There can only be one that's the best, Val, I agree...."

She'd glance at Natasha and give the woman a dirty look before looking back at Val.

"We don't like each other much. The Russians and the Cats have been at odds since we first met in this very ring at LAW and that won't be changing anytime soon, I'm sure...But! But we do have some semblance, some shred of respect for each other, I'll admit. Enough that we' haven't tossed this table aside and started wailing on each other, yet." The audience would clamor with curiosity. Despite the fact that both women were obligated not to tussle tonight, it seemed that something interesting would come of this promo, yet.

"So whatever challenge you have, name it, Val. And I'm addressing this to you and any woman in the back - any woman on LAW!" Hart would say whilst pointing to the entrance ramp, which led to the backstage area where wrestler and staff member alike were listening in, intently.

"The Super Kitty will not back down! You tell me what kinda match you want and I'll sign on the dotted line." As the fans roared in approval, Kat would lean towards Valentina and follow up with the next logical thought she had concerning the thought of taking on Natasha. "I'll throw down either of you shady Russians any day of the week, but tell me, Val....if I thrown down with Nat, how do I know you won't get involved?"

Valentina smiled graciously as Kat spoke. The crowd gave cheers and OOH's as the trio all sparred verbally. Some were disappointed that they would not get physical, despite the intentions of the purple haired Russian Seductress who hated Kat with a passion.

The blond Russian nodded her head in agreement and had indeed respect for Kat. Valentina knew that she was good in the ring, strong, devastating array of holds and more than capable of throwing a fist. However when Kat said her challenge applied to the blond, things took a turn. Valentina lifted the mic and spoke with a laugh

"Oh Kat. Its sweet that you think you could beat me in the ring. Really it is, I'm touched by your confidence. We both know that I would crush you with my superior skill, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. This is about you and my lovely partner...."

The crowd gasped at Valentina's proclamation as she continued.

"So the match would be boring if the Queen of Pins, my lovely Natasha took you, the Queen of Submissions, Kat in a straight up match...."

She waited to ratchet up the crowds anticipation.

"...Therefore, how about we mix this, you have to beat Natasha... Haha, sorry that sounds so odd as it will never happen.... But yes, Kat has to use pins to beat my partner...."

She turns to Nat who was now stood

"...and Natasha, you have to make Kat tap out. Think of it as a Queen vs Queen match yes?"

Natasha laughed and nodded immediately grabbing the contract and signing it before unceremoniously shoving the pen and paper toward Kat.

Valentina smiled and spoke

"Oh and in answer to your question about me getting involved, I won't, we Russian's never cheat and we..."

Her comment was drowned out by loud boo's and laughed of derision.

"You people are too stupid to realise how great me and Natasha are! Kat, I will gladly crush you at a later date, with or without your partner. I will say this, if you take me on, the kitty will have her claws clipped!"

Valentina's comments understandably drew boos and heat from the crowd. Having gotten the rules out of the way, it made sense that the Baltic beauty would move on to the next item on her agenda: asserting her alleged superiority over The Super Kitty. As Val talked over the boos, Kat nodded her head. The rules were straightforward enough. It seemed that Kat would only need to sign and be wary of the blonde Russian possibly intervening when it came time for the match.

With her ppv match literally up next in the show, there was a lot on Hart's mind. She lifted her mic to her face and stared into the eyes of the heel Russian tag team. Tension built between the Katherine and the Imperial Russians as she took her time before letting the words come out. Ans as soon as she opened her mouth to speak, another theme would play on the speakers before Katherine's tag partner, Tracy Canon made an appearance and entered Kōrakuen Hall. The younger, more spirited member of the tag team emerged to the sounds of massive cheers. People were excited to see both members of the SWAT Cats appear. The pink and white clad cat wrestler would bounce her way towards the ring, skipping and high fiving fans along the way. With a wide grin on her face, she'd collect a microphone from the announce table before zipping around the ring and climbing up the steel steps to enter it.

The Circus Cat would give Katherine a quick side hug before going off on Val.

"Val and Nat! Shocked to see you two goons out here, tonight! You guys all know my superstar tag partner, the wonderful and amazing Katherine Hart!"

"But let me introduce you to her tag partner, Tracy Canon! See, I'm not as nice as Kat. I'm here to say the stuff that I know she won't....."

The red head would step towards Val and point to her before calling out.

"Valentina! 'Claws clipped', really? I've watched villains in silent movies less corny than you! If you intend to keep threatening Kat, if you intend on lifting a finger to help your purple haired 'queen' during her match with Kat, I promise I won't hesitate to smother you to dreamland just like I did in our tag debut!" Tracy finished her statement by cupping her left breast with her free hand, teasing Vladinova about their last encounter.

"You two might act high and mighty, but let me give you two a reminder that the only time the SWAT Cats and Imperial Russians have been in the ring together, we beat you!"

The audience would react audibly with universal praise for the spunky Circus Cat taking it upon herself to defend her partner and talk down to the heel team. Katherine would shake her head and chuckle. She felt that Tracy was a bit over the top, but agreed with her overall message.

It was all going to plan for the Russian tag team who even in single matches worked together. Kat had agreed to a match which no doubt the pair would stack heavily in favour of them, and everyone knew it. This was perfect, and Valentina was about to deliver the coup de grace by announcing a final stipulation when they were interrupted.

Tracey, the partner of Kat made her way down to the ring, and was keen to add her views. The crowd reaction erupted in a POP that was as loud as an earthquake. Valentina listened and smiled politely. Natasha got up out of her chair now cursing the rule that she couldn't pile over the desk to shut Tracey up with a kick.

Valentina placed a hand on Natasha's shoulder and eased her back to a seated position, gesturing that it was fine. The purple haired short fused Russian agreed and laughed off the moment.

"Now Tracey. What you say is very interesting, but I must just bring up one point. You and I have never fought, and you certainly have never smothered me with those itty bitty things or any other part of your body."

She smirked as she slapped down the circus cat and continued. Natasha meanwhile laughed and pointed to mock Tracey in an overly sarcastic way.

"I think you are confused with Natasha's previous partner, who I quickly dispatched after it was obvious that I was the one who saw the skill and power of Natasha. I created the Imperial Russian Empire, I knew that Natasha and I would dominate anyone here. So please, if you even think that you could beat us in your wildest dreams, you better apologize when you wake up!"

Valentina channelled the boxing legend, Muhammed Ali to which the small section who warmed to the Russians antics appreciated.

"However kitten. You and I can get in the ring and I will crush you and show you the true meaning of smothering, your pretty little face will be red in every way!"

The blond Russian waved her hand dismissively at the circus cat and turned to Kat.

"So then. Enough of this comedy show with this..... Rookie. Kat. Sign the contract if you agree to the terms, or do you already agree that Natasha is the Queen of LAW?"

Tracy looked on with a puzzled expression as Val explained the situation. Indeed, she was Natasha's new partner. And it was impressive that she went through Natasha's old partner to do that. Yet, to the pink and white feline, and perhaps to many of the fans that disliked the Russian tag team, this was a new revelation.

With bewildered faces, Kat and Tracy would look at each other after Valientia demanded The Super Kitty's signature.

"EHHH?!"
"What's up, Trace?"

The two would mince words before Tracy scratched her head and exclaimed. "You guys...aren't the same person?!"

"I've been calling you Sofia for WEEKS! Backstage, at bars, even while looking at old matches!"

"Nooo no no, Tracy! Chekov and Vladinova are two separate people, haha!"

"Man this is kind of embarrassing. Totally thought you just put on some extra weight, maybe started hitting the gym to keep up with Nat. Did...did YOU guys know she wasn't Sofia?!" Canon directed her question to the audience, eliciting a few laughs from the Tokyo crowd. Katherine would chuckle audibly before putting an arm around her partner and turning her around.

"Here, lemme help you out. Could we get someone from the production crew to put up an image of Val and Sofia, side by side, please?" She'd say while pointing towards the titantron. Within seconds, the crew would actually comply with Kat's request and display the image on the big screen.

"Ok, come on! I can't be the only person that thought Sofia was hitting the gym and making gains."
"I mean, I can sorta see it, but isn't Val, like, taller?""

The SWAT Cats would continue their ramblings in comparisons between the dispatched Sofia and the heavyweight threat that was Valentina, before them. Clearly the two had gotten sidetracked, earning reactions o amusement of the fans, and likely earning the annoyance and interruption of The Imperial Russian Empire.

Valentina stood and watched the cats team up to mock and taunt the Russians. It was all part of the show for the blond who remained there, eyes narrowed, the gears churning in her mind with devious thoughts. Natasha on the other hand wrapped her fingers on the table. The hot headed seductress was clearly not amused with the situation or the comments from Tracy.

Once they made an on screen comparison, Natasha bolted upright and threatened to derail the whole signing, and her future in LAW. However, Val, ever the calm moved quickly over to Natasha and leaned to whisper something in Russian to the purple haired warrior.

Natasha smirked and nodded and gestured towards the cats.

Valentina raised the mic and spoke.

"Oh I see we are doing the weight jokes. How predictable, about as predictable as your pathetic tag team tactics. But you do bring up a good point kitten...."

With that Valentina pounced and looked to land a blow to Tracy's head with the microphone. The loud POP echoed around the arena. At the same time, Natasha would grab the table the fling it over to cause a massive distraction. The crowd went nuts at the sight as it appeared the Russians had given in to their own stipulation.

Valentina used the chaos to grab Tracy and look to bend forward to pick up the smaller wrestler so she hung vertically over the big Russians back. If all went well, and Valentina got the space, she would have Tracy set up for the Russians belly to back piledriver, the Glasnost Glamour.

Natasha meanwhile stood blocking Kat, she even went as far as to stand virtually brushing chests.

"Hit me, puzh me Kat. I dare you!!

The genius of the double cross became apparent. The stipulation said the Russians couldn't strike Kat, and vice versa. Tracy was fair game.

Valentina smirked at Kat and jumped to plant the smaller wrestler to the canvas, adding the insult of now sitting on Tracy's face to smother her.

"So how heavy am I kitten?" Valentina laughed as Natasha took up a microphone.

"Zo Kat, how long can zee partner last under my beautuful partner? We all know zhe iz loving zee smother but...."

Valentina would call out. To which Nat, still blocking Kat would hold the mic to the blonds mouth everyone could hear.

"Sign the contract Kat, and your partner breathes. She looks really red but trust me, she is being a very naughty kitten!!"
