The arena lights dimmed to a cold, clinical blue. The crowd, already buzzing from Tania’s high-energy entrance, shifted from cheering to a curious, expectant hum. There was no music, only the rhythmic thud of boots on the metal ramp and the mechanical drone of a motorized platform.
Wicke Sykes emerged from the curtain, her expression unreadable. strolling with a measured pace. Accompanying her through a hydraulic dolly was an industrial orb pod. The frosted glass was opaque, the interior glowing with a violent, swirling crimson light that pulsed like a heartbeat.
The announcer's voice boomed over the PA system: "And her opponent..."
The crowd already knew the card. However, the sight of Wicke nudging a literal stasis pod raised a thousand eyebrows. The fans murmured, some laughing at the theatricality, others genuinely unsettled by the sterile, laboratory aesthetic invading the squared circle.

One that didn't align with the girl's bubbly persona. Some adrenaline-induced fugue state or an untapped emotional trigger? With such limited footage available, it was inconclusive, but still a variable. A dangerous one.
Regardless, Wicke concluded, the objective remains the same. Integration. Execution. Domination.
Wicke stepped to the side of the pod. She reached down to a heavy-duty locking mechanism, clicking it open with a metallic clack that echoed through the quiet arena. She didn't look at Tania, her focus was entirely on the machine and what was inside
With a calm, steady hand, Wicke reached for the control panel embedded in the side of the orb. Her finger hovered over the primary release valve.
"Time to show them the result of the equation," Wicke whispered to herself.
She then pressed the button and then a loud hiss erupted...
