“And which one of us is the child after that, you stupid English bitch?!" Nerissa asked angrily out loud.
Yes, of course, their relationship with Victoria has deteriorated greatly in the light of recent events.
After losing the most important rivalry of her life, Nerissa was in far from the best condition, now she saw no point in denying it. And her manager couldn't think of anything better than to sign up for her tournament, which at that moment had no meaning for the Native American woman. The result was obvious, she lost two matches in a row and was kicked out of the tournament like a champagne cork. At that moment, all her thoughts were occupied by the woman who had completely turned her life around.
Nerissa was definitely not happy with the way things turned out. And if she was the only one to blame for the way her rivalry ended, then in the case of the tournament she considered Victoria to be to blame. The manager took the first step to reconcile with Nerissa, but at that moment the Native American woman was not ready to accept it, she was still too angry.
Nevertheless, although the situation with her career was still too sad, Nerissa decided to at least try to make a step towards her manager. However, now Victoria was the one who didn't want to talk to her. Therefore, Nerissa made the only right decision in her opinion, namely to come to LAW headquarters to speak with her manager personally. How could she have known that the Englishwoman would simply refuse to open the door for her?
“Damn, now I'm feeling hungry because of you!”
Nerissa stopped in the middle of the lobby. At first, she thought about just going home, but due to stress she had an irresistible urge to eat. In order not to put up with this for too long, she decided to stop by the cafe located right in the headquarters.
“Club sandwich with salmon and cream cheese,” she said a few minutes later in front of the cafe counter. “And a big latte, no sugar.”
When she received her order and sat down at the nearest table, it seemed that Nerissa was completely fine. But that wasn't really the case. For a long time, she didn't know what to do next. This woman had changed too much in her life and Nerissa had completely lost her concentration, which was completely out of character for her. Her career, which was still going to Hell, was the best proof of that.
After starting to chew on the sandwich, the Native American woman closed her eyes for a few seconds. Yes, thanks to her conversation with Astrid and the subsequent events, she was able to find a way to take her mind off this woman. However, even Nerissa herself knew deep down that self-satisfaction was only a temporary solution. Astrid strongly advised her to talk to the brunette, but Nerissa did not find the strength to do that.
“Fucking awesome...” as if there was no one around, she muttered after finishing the first half of the sandwich.
After taking a few sips of coffee, she found herself thinking that instead of just talking to the woman she fell in love with, she decided to focus on her career. Yes, she had already won one match, which could be considered the first small step on a new path to the top of the lightweight division, but still it was not enough to completely forget about this brunette.
Maybe that's why she's been so irritated lately.
“And who needs all this?..” she asked the rhetorical question out loud before starting on the second half of the sandwich.

Cora had absolutely nothing to be upset about, her debut match ended with her on top and her opponent despite initially seeming mad over it, eventually fell for the half Mexican's charms and soon after and the two hooked up on the beach. Cora was always a looker, and a flirter, both aspects helping with each other helping her hook up with many women and a few men though Cora always had a preference for the same sex.
The dark haired woman had arrived at LAW headquarters in just a pair of jeans a blue crop top for a meeting about booking her in some future matches, nothing overly exciting or anything overly unique. She was about to head back to her apartment when she decided to make a detour towards the cafe near the lobby. Stepping inside, it was mostly empty besides a few people though one had certainly caught her eye. A long haired woman in a green outfit with a black jacket, her outfit revealed just enough to tease without being revealing. Cora smirked like a fox that just found an unprotected hen house.
Deciding to play it cool Cora walked to the counter and ordered a cappuccino and turned around eyeing up the woman she was interested in from behind as he drink was prepared. She seemed almost entranced by the woman, it took the cafe employee a few moments to snap her out of it when her drink was ready. "Oh... thanks" Cora said before paying and grabbing her drink off the counter.
Cora then approached the woman's table slowly but confidently with a smile on her face before taking a seat about halfway across the table from the woman. "Hey" she said, deciding to start the conversation casually while staring into the woman's brown eyes. Sure, charming a random stranger was a little weird, especially if they were straight, but Cora happened to notice the rainbow colored wristband the woman wore and was pretty sure she was the opposite.

Being focused on the second half of the sandwich and her own thoughts, Nerissa didn't seem to notice anything around her. Perhaps she was living proof that a person can really change under the influence of external factors. Just a couple of months ago, she would have been sitting here with a big smile on her face, looking at other visitors, but now she was completely uninterested.
Therefore, she did not notice at all how someone approached her.
“Hmm?”
Still holding the sandwich in her hands, the Native American woman raised her head to look at the one who had so unceremoniously sat down at her table across from her. When this unknown woman greeted her, Nerissa first raised her left eyebrow, and then ran her eyes over this woman from head to toe, as if scanning her.
Judging by her great physique, she was one of LAW fighters. Besides, only a blind person wouldn't have noticed, she was a lightweight. However, the most remarkable thing was her appearance. She was certainly beautiful, but Nerissa noticed something else. Maybe not one hundred percent, but this woman, like Nerissa herself, was probably a Native American.
Funny.
There was a time when such a “hey” was more than enough for Nerissa to make a plan for the rest of the day. If she were the Nerissa she was before meeting Clara, she would have responded to this flirtation right away. She would invite this woman out for a drink and then drag her into bed to fuck her until the morning. But unfortunately, Nerissa wasn't interested in that right now. Because of Clara, she literally forgot how to have a good time with other women, so…
“Fuck off...” she said indifferently, then returned to her sandwich.

Generally Cora was pretty quite, that was unless she saw someone that caught her eye, it was like a switch, going from distant to womanizer in an instant. There was nothing Cora like more than to flirt and socialize with someone she found attractive before taking things to a more intimate place, and she seemed to have found a target for her next fling or friend with certain benefits.
After taking a seat and giving the woman a simple greeting Cora took a long sip of her coffee while she felt the long haired woman's eyes studying her. Whether or not Nerissa realized they both had a similar heritage wasn't Cora's concern, getting the woman to like her and talk to her. After all the two could have plenty of time to learn such details when they were fucking until the sun rose.
Though the plan quickly hit a snag when for probably one of the first times in her life Cora was quickly dismissed with a simple "fuck you". Cora lowered her drink, determined not to be dismissed so easily, or let such a catch of a woman slip away with so little effort. "At least buy a girl dinner first" Cora replied with a smirk. "I'm Cora" she added introducing herself while she set her drink down on the table and brushed her hair back behind her ear with her hand.
"Does that braid ever get caught on anything?" Cora asked, deciding to make the best conversation she could, deciding to pick the woman's long noticeable braid.

Why did Nerissa respond that way? She just knew in advance that it wouldn't work, this flirtation and everything that could follow it. Just a few months ago, her life was completely different. A common joke among a certain circle of people was the phrase that Nerissa fucked half the women in Tokyo. And, as they say, there is a joke in every joke. In this case, the joke was true. Although... a lot has changed since then, or rather everything has remained as before, only Nerissa herself has changed.
How did she know it wouldn't work? As stupid as it may sound, but she tried. After that match, she tried to return to her usual life, namely alcohol and sex. The problem was that she had literally lost the opportunity to feel pleasure around someone. Kissing... caressing... even the sex itself... she could no longer enjoy it because there was only one person she wanted to get it all from.
To somehow numb the pain in her heart, Nerissa focused on getting her career back on track. There was simply no other way out for her. Maybe she put it in a very rude way, but in fact Nerissa just didn't want them to waste their time.
But…
This woman turned out to be a tough nut to crack.
As if Nerissa hadn't just told her to fuck off, she introduced herself and then asked a question about Nerissa's long braid. Not expecting such a turn of events, the Native American woman even slightly raised her eyebrows. What was that? An attempt to make friends or an attempt to piss Nerissa off? If it's the second option, then Cora did pretty well.
“Nerissa Labong...” she introduced herself in response.
She didn't do it out of politeness, but just in case Cora really didn't know who she was. Perhaps after a series of defeats, her name is no longer so loud in the federation, but those who have heard it at least once should be aware of Nerissa's reputation.
“I don't know if your English is different from mine, but in my English “fuck off” means that I have no desire to have a relationship with you of any kind,” Nerissa didn't finish her sandwich, put it on the plate, and then took a sip of latte. “Right now, I'm only interested in my career and nothing else." She put the cup on the table. “So have a nice stay...”
Usually, if someone did not understand her words, she switched to the language of her fists. But even though she wasn't in the best of moods, she wasn't in the mood for conflict right now. Therefore, Nerissa got up from her seat, turned her back to Cora and slowly walked towards the exit of the cafe, being sure that this would be the end of Cora's persistence.

It was certainly an attempt at something, at eventually getting Nerissa in a bedroom alone, maybe it fell under friends, though with some additional benefits. Cora continued her innocent act, telling Nerissa she was only here to ask her out would have been way too forward and direct, so she decided to start with small talk, which thankfully led to Cora getting the woman's name although rather bluntly. Nerissa, a nice name, even if the woman it belonged to seemed to want nothing to do with her.
Cora probably had heard that name once or twice, more so around the Tokyo nightlife and other women she had hooked up with, and not LAW itself, not because Nerissa wasn't a talented fighter, but because Cora hadn't bothered to pay much attention to most of the other women LAW had signed. Before Cora could utter another word, Nerissa seemed to completely shut off any further advances. Cora simply took another from her drink in response as Nerissa got up and started to walk away.
'Third times the charm" Cora told herself as she got up and brought her drink with her, following after the long haired woman towards the exit. Before Nerissa could leave for the exit, Cora reached forward and grabbed Nerissa's wrist to stop her from leaving. "I thought you were into having a good time with other women?" Cora asked with a seductive yet hinting tone.

Did that mean she was getting soft? There were times when Nerissa was ready to get into a fight even if it just seemed to her that someone looked at her askance. In fact, the Native American woman just didn't want to cause a conflict in the middle of a cafe right at LAW headquarters. No more, no less. She had other worries besides this pushy woman, so she was going to just leave this place.
Suddenly Nerissa stopped.
And the reason was obvious. Cora grabbed her wrist, asking her another question. Nerissa slowly turned over her shoulder and looked at the black-haired woman with a look as if she intended to kill her. Some people don't seem to know when to stop, and Cora was one of them.
“At the moment, I find only one time good enough,” Nerissa said in a slightly hissing voice, which clearly showed how annoyed she was. “It's when I beat the shit out of other women in the ring.”
When she clenched her right fist, it became obvious that she was fighting the urge to punch Cora in the face right now. Nerissa might even have some respect for the woman's persistence, but she wasn't in the right mood.
“That's why I'm giving you exactly three seconds to let go of my wrist,” she said, after which her eyes narrowed slightly. “Otherwise, I'll beat the shit out of you right here and I won't even need a match for that. One... two...”

Cora was being persistent to a fault. A simple greeting at a cafeteria table had turned into an endless quest to try and get into Nerissa's pants in just a couple of minutes, and here she was playing all her cards, stopping Nerissa from leaving. Cora's smile slightly diminished as Nerissa looked back at her like a starving and pissed off lion ready to kill.
"Hey cool, I'm dead" Cora thought to herself half jokingly, before hearing Nerissa speak with an obvious hiss and anger in her voice, reiterating how she once again wasn't interested, but also adding the additional threat of punching her. "If you insist" Cora teased letting go of the woman's wrist but taking a step forward to press her chest up against the woman. "I might have a way to satisfy us both then" Cora said in a teasing tone before taking a step back and putting her finger and thumb on her chin while she thought things through real fast, sure this woman likely could beat her bloody without a second though but on the other hand she was smoking hot.
Through either sheer horniness, stupidity, or confidence, Cora finally issued her challenge. "You and me this week. Submission match and the winner gets to do whatever she wants with the loser for the next full day" Cora said, confident she could at least get something out of this woman win or lose.
"Just have something nice to wear for when we go back to my place" Cora added with a cocky tease wanting to see Nerissa in her finest lingerie before going at it with the woman for an entire night.

Mentally, Nerissa prepared to use her fists. Yes, maybe fighting at LAW headquarters wasn't the best idea, but at least it would definitely attract the attention of her manager. However, just as she was preparing to finish the countdown, Cora abruptly released her wrist.
However, in the next second, the black-haired woman took a step towards Nerissa, which caused their breasts to press into each other. The atmosphere has changed significantly and there appeared some tension in the air. Nerissa's words seemed to have changed the way this woman thought, and when Cora said that she had an option that would suit both of them, Nerissa's eyes narrowed slightly.
Apparently not wanting to test the nerves of the Native American woman for strength, Cora took a step back, and then she challenged Nerissa. Nerissa was just silent for a few seconds, and then, for the first time since the beginning of this conversation, a smile appeared on her lips.
“Now we're talking...” she said.
A submission POW match?
At first, Nerissa thought that Cora could only chatter in persistent attempts at flirtation, but Nerissa underestimated her. She even had the guts to challenge Nerissa to a match with conditions that could lead to real humiliation. Many people would probably have retreated when faced with such an offer, but a fire lit up in Nerissa's eyes. Now that it was about the match, she seemed to come alive.
“Tell you what...” she said, keeping her trademark wide smile on her face. “You don't have to worry about me wearing something nice." She tilted her head slightly forward, making her gaze turn hawkish. “Because after I break all your bones you're going to be in the hospital for a while.” She ran her tongue over her lower lip. “I'm in.”
As she said from the very beginning, she's only interested in her career right now, so Nerissa was really glad to get the opportunity. She didn't care about the conditions of the match because she wasn't going to lose, not after all the shit she'd been through because of recent events. Besides, Cora obviously missed one little thing. When Nerissa wins, she simply won't use her POW right, thereby getting rid of this annoying woman. Two birds with one stone.

Cora truly was never going to take no for an answer, even if it lead to this. Challenging a woman who was dangerous as she was sexy to a match with plans of having her way with her after the fact or risking the woman doing the same to her unknowing that Nerissa only had the desire to hurt her and then get her out of her life.
At least the prospect of a fight seemed to get Nerissa's fire burning, Cora could see as much in her eyes. That dismissive and uninterested mood visually disappeared now replaced with a strange excitement though the woman's words still remained just as violent as she promised to break Cora's bones before officially accepting her offer.
"Yeah you're right. Anything you wear wont be staying on anyways" Cora teased before addressing Nerissa's more serious statement. "Violent aren't ya. I'll see if I can change that when you're all mine" Cora added reaching out and rubbing Nerissa's hip for a moment before pulling her hand back and stepping back before Nerissa could do anything about it. "See you soon Rissa" Cora said deciding to act cute and play with the woman before skipping past her and leaving the woman in front of the cafeteria.
"Don't be late" Cora shouted behind her as she turned the corner just to tease the woman one last time.
