It was early in the day, early enough to count as morning and late enough for most people to be at work or otherwise occupied. The perfect time for Kate to make her way down to the streets and after passing a few blocks, get into an alley. It probably was not the best look for her to go down some dark alleyway alone but the reasons for that were quite different than one would expect.
"Pounce, you here buddy?" She asked after taking a few steps in, a few moments later a rather grumpy meow cane as a reply. Kate giggled and rolled her eyes.
"Oh, excuse me, Sir Pounce-A-Lot. Now are you gonna move your furry butt over here or is that tuna gonna go to waste?" She said, setting her things down and getting a can of tuna out of her bag. A little black kitten emerged from a cardboard box with the word "castle" written on it with a marker. Said castle had a cutout entrance and a comfy blanket inside. A perfect hideout for a little fellow now rubbing himself against Kate as she got the fish she promised out of the can.
When presented with food, Sir Pounce-A-Lot, the most dignified of cat knights, maintained his niceties to the person bringing him such an offering before moving over to a bowl of tuna. It was just enough distraction for Kate to inspect the little fella for new scratches and such. She has been trying to convince her landlord to allow pets inside but it was an uphill battle. Still, her little friend needed proper care and she was determined to give it to him even if that would get her in trouble. For now, she sat there, scratching his little head, she needed him to relax before she'd try to convince him to get into the pet transporter that she brought.

Alizeh hummed softly as she walked down the sidewalk, wearing rather casual clothes since all she did was some window shopping along with a nice walk in the park. Though she was about to go get some food but she noticed something, a rather annoyed growl from an alley that drew her attention.
"Hm?" Alizeh asked herself, spotting a figure in the alley and decided to investigate as she walked into the alley and spotted a familiar, buff, purple haired beauty.
"Kate is that you?" Alizeh asked as she approached the girl who had a can of tuna, a pet carrier and...
"Omg is that you're kitty?!" Alizeh asked excitedly, her inner child immediately coming out as she kneeled down next to Kate to look at the small, rather cute black cat chowing down on tuna, not at all bothered by the context or even possible context of this.

Hearing people call out her name was becoming more and more common these days, so when she heard it the first instinct was to rise, greet them, sign whatever they want signed and get back to the important business. But she heard that voice before, a shiver run down her spine. Of all the people to catch her like this it of course had to be Alizeh. She turned her head and her stomach immediately tightened, a certain sense of anxiety passed over her though it wasn't entirely unpleasant, even if she wouldn't know how to even start a conversation, beating near the greenet felt good in a way she couldn't quite up to words.
Meanwhile, the brave Sir Pounce-A-Lot took a conscious step back, assessing the new human in the area, not sure if they could be trusted. "H-hi... ummm... It's complicated, you see." She started, took a big breath, reaching out her hand to the kitten in a way he must have taken as her assuring him it was safe, to which he rubbed himself on her hand and went back to eating. "That's Sir... I mean Pounce, I found him being harassed by some kids a few weeks ago and have been taking care of him ever since." She said, looking nervously between the cat and the woman. It was obvious that she at least somewhat lied about the name, though from the way she acted around Alizeh in general, as much as she tried to hide things, she was an open book nonetheless.

Well this was a surprise. Alizeh hadn't ever expected to run into Kate in a dirty alley of all places. But she certainly wasn't opposed to it. In fact she felt her heart beat just a bit faster as she approached and began talking, the adorable cat was just a massive bonus. Listening to the explanation though caused Alizeh to "ohhhh" softly as she turned to the cat before turning to Kate and smiling softly.
"Heh, I knew you were a good person, that's really sweet of you." Alizeh said crouching down near the two, keeping her posture open to appear non threatening to pounce, or sir? No pounce Alizeh was fairly sure is what Kate said his name was. "Hi Pounce I'm Alizeh, you're friend friend." Alizeh said jokingly as a means of trying to bond with the small kitten before eyeing the gucci box that he'd been sleeping in.
"So why is he still out here? Allergic or something?" Alizeh asked curiously to the purple haired girl, figuring that there was probably some kinda reason as to why Pounce wasn't already living with her.

The initial stress was over, pounce didn't run, and her own heart slowed down to a point that she didn't think it would burst. She blushed at Alizeh's words, stuttering a bit before the girl continued. "Well, he wouldn't come with me at first... And my landlord is an asshole and won't let me keep him with me." She said getting actually heated at the end, before her expression softened, seeing the little guy finish his meal and saunter over to Alizeh, starting to consciously sniff at her. "But I'm taking him anyway, if nothing else, then until I can find a good home for him." then she turned to Alizeh, cracking a little smile "And what brings you to a dingy alley like this?"

Alizeh giggled softly seeing Pounce come over and start to sniff her, allowing him to do so until he was satisfied. If he let her than Alizeh would push her luck, trying to gently run her fingers over the top of the little guy's head with a small smile on her face before blinking in surprise at what Kate said. Not cause it was particularly shocking a landlord wouldn't let her take him, but from the fact Kate had actually cursed. When asked about why she was here though she'd just chuckle softly.
"Wellll I guess you can say you did." Alizeh said before clarifying. "Or rather I heard this little guy meow and came to check it out, but then saw you." Alizeh chirped happily with a smile. "Before that I was just about to go get food." Alizeh mentioned before suddenly smiling a bit brighter at Kate. "Actually if you can get him in the carrier, you should join me!" Alizeh said eagerly with a smile, not at all bashful at all about the idea of roping Kate into her days plans, especially if she brought Pounce along with her.

Being a chivalrous knight, Sir Pounce-A-Lot quickly went from sniffing to properly greeting his new acquaintance. In the absence of opposable thumbs, it took the form of rubbing himself against her leg and purring softly as Alizeh began to scratch him. Looking at this, Kate thought 'Yeah, Pounce, I know, no need to convince me'. Then she heard Alizeh speak, at the end her eyes going wide. getting food together wasn't really anything special but in Kate's state of mind, it sounded dangerously close to a date in which case, her knightly companion made for the best wingman in history.
There was a catch though. "I'd love to but he never was inside a transporter so I wouldn't want to keep him in for too long." She said nervously, rubbing her neck and avoiding eye contact at which point Pounce meowed as if to signal that she was blowing it. "But I live just down the street, we could get there and order some takeout, I know all the good places around! Ummm... that is if you'd like that." She added spurred on by her feline friend.

Alizeh smiled softly at Pounce as the little guy seemed to take a liking to her and started to rub up against her leg to which Alizeh happily returned with some affection of her own by scratching him softly. While the two got acquainted Kate would answer Alizeh's question causing the green haired girl to look up at the purple haired woman as she answered making Alizeh nod softly before smiling again.
"Yeah sure sound fine to me!" Alizeh said before gently moving to scoop the little guy up if he allowed her. Standing up if Pounce was alright with Alizeh picking him up she'd smile at Kate. "Maybe we won't need the carrier after all if its not far and as long as he behaves." She cooed out at the end, gently running her thumbs over his head with a small smile on her face as she gestured with her head for Kate to lead the way.

At first, when Pounce was picked up, he flailed his paws and meowed in discontent but as soon as he was in a proper position, he nestled in and purred. The expression on his little face was as close to smug as a cat could give.
"It took me a week for him to even let me pick him up!" Kate let out pouting a little which prompted the kitten to meow as if to say 'What you gonna do about it?'
Kate stood up after that and after collecting her things, would gesture for Alizeh to follow. It was only when they reached her house, she realized what she was about to show. There was no turning back though. After unlocking the door, the first thing in the spacious interior that came to view was a giant Lapras plushy, so big in fact that it was serving as a couch in front of the tv. The more attentive would see a name tag on it saying 'Lara the Lapras' as the plushy was named by Karin. There was a half-painted squigoth on the shelf next to the tv flanked by a pair of golden gloves above which hung a pair of gold medals along with some other nicknacks scattered around the place. Kate would turn to Alizeh, blushing furiously at traveling herself like that."M-make yourself at h-home.

Meeting a little bit of resistance as she lifted Pounce up Alizeh was prepared to put him back down but he seemed to settle in pretty quickly within her grasp, earning a slight amount of annoyance from Kate to which Alizeh would respond with a teasing stuck out tongue. "Hehe cats have always liked me to be fair." She joked before the two took their leave of the alley and walked towards the purple haired girl's house.
As they entered said house though Alizeh's eyes widened, not just from the lapras couch, but from the various awards and other nerdy stuff scattered about. "Omg I love Lapras!" Alizeh said and would have dive bombed on top of it had it not been for Pounce in her grasp. But she still definitely hopped on top and laid out, letting Pounce to sit on her chest as she did so while she looked around.
"Mannn Kate nice place you have." Alizeh said, eyes lingering on those golden gloves on the wall. A testament of Kate's skill in the field of boxing, skill she knew would carry to wrestling... But Alizeh also couldn't help but mentally picture what the girl looked liked with them on.. with just a sports bra on.. maybe not even that...
