The World of Pro-Wrestling - Act 1

The end of the year arrived, Snow felt a little weird about that fact, a lot has happened since she debuted in LAW. She arrived as an aspiring wrestler, to graduate in a very short time from the young lioness program, even many branded her as simply moving her contacts to accelerate the process. But even so, little by little she showed everyone what she was made of, however the future was now uncertain after everything that happened after their fight on the stairs for the briefcase.

But it was not a time for anguish, but for joy, and today she could finally visit a friend she made in her “Brief Passage” at LAW. So after packing a few things for her departure, she set off for Svetlana Zynski's home.

The Swedish actress was driving down an avenue, listening to the radio to sweeten the mood a bit, listening to some Christmas tunes for the season. But the signal was briefly interrupted by a news item ("Good morning. Moments ago, the National Seismological Service reported a 6.4 magnitude earthquake south of Fukushima. The civil protection protocols have been activated, we recommend to be aware of a possible aftershock in the cities around the epicenter").

After a morning, she would arrive at the address that Svetlana had indicated to him by message. “Hm... She said she was supposed to meet you here.... Will that be it?” she said, setting her gaze on one of the houses in the suburb, she wouldn't expect much knowing how simple the Polish woman was. Snow wouldn't lose anything if she went out to knock and ask anyway, so after parking her car, she went down to knock on the door to see if she was there.

Svetlana was located close to the LAW gym in Japan, and knowing that they had a busy day of training ahead Svetlana invited Snow to her place for the night. She and Snow had a bit of a complicated friendship as Snow would take shortcuts in the ring and act like a bit of a brat but be totally different outside the ring. Svetlana could sort out the difference almost as if it were two different women entirely. To that end she figured if both women were able to sleep well and get as much rest as possible before their training day the better they would be.

Svetlana was wearing an old Skyrim t-shirt and black sweatpants as she heard a knock on the door. She made her way over and opened it up seeing Snow there waiting. "Hello! I hope you found the place without troubles. Come in please!" Svetlana said as she stood aside to allow Snow to come in.

As soon as Svetlana opened the door, Snow recognized her instantly, because that strong geek look is unmistakable, it gave a certain aura to Henry Cavill after playing a game of Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2. Snow, excited to visit her friend, lifted the bags with the purchases she made before arriving. "SVETLANA!" She said euphorically before approaching to give her a warm and soft hug, she was happy to see her again.

"The truth is yes, there was a lot of traffic as usual. I have not adapted at all to the environment of Japan." Snow separates himself and decides to slowly enter the humble home of the Polish woman, leaving aside the posters and articles of video games, movies and board games. It really was not something very different from her apartment, simple and pretty as it should be.

"I brought soda, sausages, Chinese food, panettone, eggs, ham bread, sauces and so on to eat until bursting... Can you tell me where I left all this, it's really heavy to carry six bags on me and you still have to see the gift I brought you that I left in the car..." She said while her fingers began to burn from the weight of the bags, in her car she had a perfect gift for the Polish girl. Or so she thought, because she decided to buy her some state-of-the-art components for her PC.

Svetlana saw the hectic mess that was Snow as she had carried in entirely too much! Svetlana wasn't expecting all this so she moved in to grab a few bags and help show her to the nearby counter. "Just put it here, that will be just fine! I didn't think you would be bringing all this... is there more you need help with?" Svetlana asked as she tried to help Snow out. She was flattered that Snow had done all this and Svetlana smiled, feeling like tonight was going to be more fun than she previously expected.

Svetlana also was worried that with training tomorrow it was smartest to eat... less festive? Healthier? Regardless though if Snow brought all this stuff Svetlana couldn't let it go to waste. Tonight would be the fun before the work tomorrow.

Once Svetlana helped her hold the shopping bags, she finally had a free hand to support and put the bags where she was told. "I hope you don't see this as too much, I wanted to surprise you and today will be very special, I will show you how we enjoy the end of the year in my land. The more the house is stocked with food, the better. And also tomorrow we will have to train and for that we have to be well fed, especially for the place where we will go, there they train professional athletes, martial artists and athletes of maximum performance. And good food is the basis of everything, we will need to burn a lot of calories and our body will need a lot of calories". She said in high spirits, today she looked more radiant than ever.

"Oh, wait a second, I left something else in the car." She said before walking out to where she parked her car to open the trunk, from there she pulled out a purple wrapped box and a white ribbon. The actress eyes lit up as she finished closing the trunk and turns to Svetlana with a cute smile. "This is for you, maybe not in time for Christmas, but I still wanted to give you something special." Snow wasn't sure what Svetlana would like as a gift exactly, as she is someone too geeky for her taste. But she knew that the tools and accessories she had bought would certainly give her a very good performance for her work, as she usually streams games of Dungeons and Dragons or Elden Ring, and her games usually last for hours and even weeks because of how long they are.

So based on that, I'm looking for the latest generation graphics cards, a couple of processors, a good 5TB hard drive and a good 8K camera. While she wasn't sure how the Polish woman would react, this gift at least does it from the heart.

"Oh yes the new year is always a fun time. I used to go out but this year I wasn't planning on as much." Svetlana said. "I want to be the best wrestler I can be so I try not to indulge too much." As they got things set up Svetlana saw the gift and felt a bit embarrassed. She did have a small gift for Snow too but it really wasn't much, not compared to what Svetlana opened up.

"Oh this is amazing! Thank you so much, but this is too much you didn't need to do this." Svetlana said giving Snow a hug. "I have a little something for you but it isn't really anything crazy, in fact it is sort of dumb." Svetlana said.

She went into the closet and pulled out a small wrapped box handing it to Snow. Svetlana recalled their match and sparring thinking that them doing a tag match together sometime could be fun. Snow was going to open up a purple and white one piece swimsuit with matching kneepads, elbow pads and boots akin to Svetlana's usual color pattern on her attire so Snow and she would match if this tag idea ever happened.

Snow's expression lit up with excitement at how much Svetlana liked the gift, the warm embrace reinforcing that fact. "Hehehe, that's nothing, I just wanted to give you something cool." Though she was distressed by the way Svetlana felt ashamed of herself, what could embarrass her? In fact the actress didn't expect him to give her anything in return, since it was a gift she gave from her heart. But as she followed the Polish woman to her closet, her curiosity only grew greater with each step she took.

Svetlana took a small box out of the closet, something that made the actress wonder what it was. Some kind of necklace? A watch? Nothing could have prepared Snow for what she saw when Svetlana unwrapped the gift.

Snow was in complete shock at what was before her eyes, it was a professional wrestling costume. Maybe this is the second time that one of her coworkers gave her one of these, as Harmonia Edelstein had made her a costume for her PPV matches, which is a very characteristic outfit since she used it in her match against Renee.

But this gear was something completely different, a simply beautiful gear similar to the one worn by Svetlana, something that made her feel very moved to the verge of tears. She gently took the suit from Svetlana's hands and unwrapped it to contemplate it carefully, with every second she looked at it, it seemed to become more and more precious. What Snow gave her rival had no meaning beyond making her happy, but what Svetlana was giving her at this moment was of far greater value and significance. Even though she knew how spicy the actress could be in the ring, she wanted to offer her the chance to fight by her side.

It was like a wave of emotions, Snow sees in Svetlana a rival at her level, and it is so since they met. Having her as a partner and friend, there was no word that could describe what Snow felt at this moment, it could even be similar to a marriage proposal. "That is...." Snow could not contain herself and hugged Svetlana as tears began to well up in her eyes. "You don't know how happy I am!! It's the best gift in the whole world!" Said the actress beaming with emotion.

Svetlana breathed a sigh of relief as her gift was received well. "I am very glad you like it, I was hoping we could tag together sometime although finding opponents may be tough." Svetlana said with a shrug. The idea of being inna tag team even if only for a couple matches thrilled Svetlana. It would be a learning experience for sure.

"So we have good to make and I was wondering do you have any idea what our training will be like tomorrow?" Svetlana asked curious if Snow knew more than she did about what they were about to walk in to.

It hadn't occurred to Snow to team up with someone specific until now, but Svetlana's gesture and offer was simply irresistible, plus she imagined how good she would look in this outfit. "Well, let's not rush either, we don't have joint attacks or anything like a good punchline. Just imagining how we'll practice maneuvers together is so exciting!" Snow began to think that she might be sounding a bit desperate, so she controlled her mood. "Uhum! I mean, let's not rush either, but it'll be a pleasure to team up with you." Snow tried to relax and took a breath.

"Hm, that's a good question. The only thing I told whoever accepted our request was to meet us at a gym I know, I don't know how we'll train with her. But I do know very well who runs that gym." Snow took a pause as she thought hard about where to start, so she took a seat to settle in. "You see, the owner of that place is a former triple crown MMA champion. Her name is Garlim Ivanna, and she also happens to be something of a co-worker, as we were both hired for the same roster run by a very popular wrestler from China. I can assure you that training at Garlim's gym is a demanding routine, however several high performance athletes have come out of it with remarkable improvements, so I can assure you that she knows well how to manage her clients. Since we are professional wrestlers, I guess the first thing she will have us do is a sparring session to analyze our style, so she can focus on covering our weaknesses. Or at least that's what I think, it won't be much different from the daily routine, but I guess the people who agreed to train with us could make things more interesting, don't you think?" she asks curious.

"Team attacks aren't the end all of being a tag team. They are good to have but if you can't wrestle or hold your own against an opponent it won't matter what fancy team attacks you have." Svetlana said although she still thought being in a few tag matches was a good idea. She continued to listen about this Garlim woman, and she wished she could have had more of a chance to look up info about her. Either way she would be ready for tomorrow, leaving her curious as to who would be training them exactly.

She didn't know if it was someone from LAW or a different wrestling promotion or even a non-wrestler who was conducting it. "Who do you think it could be? We could try to find a list of wrestlers who have trained there before couldn't we?"
