Entering the City, a New Arrival!?

A train would roll through the city, carrying dozens upon dozens of passengers in its cars and cabins...but only one stood out amongst the crowd of suited salarymen heading to work, uniform school children making their way to class, and elderly couples enjoying retirement together. The strange new face unfamiliar to the subway system was a young woman, a Japanese native but one who lived in the mountains, far away from the technology on display in front of her. Though she was born in the country, she might as well be a cultural native as the difference between home and wherever 'here' was would be quite a shock to her system as giant buildings that seemed to touch the sky strolled by the windows as they zoomed across the tracks. The sea was glimmering far away, the view broken up by an array of blooming sakura trees that littered the sides of the railway as the train made its way through the metropolitan area.

Barreling across the inner-city rails, the newcomer would be treated to a majestic sight. There were so many bright lights and huge signs. The many unique-looking model cars streaming through the roads provided a breathtaking view from the train's windows. Crowds of people filling the streets on either side, people running and biking, children jumping and playing, it was all so much...It was so strange yet...so beautiful at the same time. This concrete, modern-day jungle was a paradise and a nightmare, all in one. It was a plague and a pleasure on the senses as there was so much to do and see. Frankly, it HAD to be overwhelming, especially compared to the young woman's home in the mountains. It must've felt like she had stepped into a parallel world.

Now Arriving at Tokyo Station...

Things would reach a brief moment of calm once they finally hit the station. After a long route from place to place, following a short taxi ride into a more populated town from the mountains and catching a train from there to Tokyo, the young newcomer could finally let out a sigh of relief. The intercom relayed that the train had arrived safely on time to its destination of the Tokyo Metro, the real first stop of the young woman's exciting journey, a fresh start to a brand new chapter!!! The train would slowly roll into position, coming to a halt after a semi-bumpy ride along the tracks. The worst part was now behind her, and the young woman could finally move on as the doors gave way and opened a path to a bright, new beginning...

but what's this...!?!!

The Midday Rush!!!

The timing was poor as the hour struck noon. The foreign passenger would arrive at likely the worst time imaginable for their first-time experience. The doors opened, and the young woman on board was greeted by a sea of passersby and strangers, all looking to get off the train while she and the dozens of other passengers were trying to depart the cabin. The station's rush hour was about to hit like a pair of tsunamis crashing against one another, both sides pushing and pressing against one another, trying to get out and head to wherever they needed to be. To make matters worse, all the faces surrounding the mysterious newcomer were unfazed by everything unfolding around them. It was as if this was NORMAL for them, just another day and another commute, something that would CERTAINLY shock and surprise the foreign woman during her introduction to the big city...

Busy, Busy at Tokyo Metro Station.

After a slight struggle and some help from some station staff members, the newcomer would break through the incredibly tight walls of people blocking her way. Hopefully, she'd managed to keep all her bags and belongings with her. A short walk through a sea-like crowd of individuals, and she'd make it to the escalators. Finally, she could breathe...just a little more to go before she reached the outside. However, as she ascended the motorized stairway...what an insane invention...the young woman would be met with an almost paralyzing sight as her world just got a whole lot BIGGER. People surrounded her in a frenzy, walking and moving all around, the sounds of so many voices ringing throughout the air as the digital 'beeps' and 'boops' of many phones and devices echoed through the building with the sounds of trains rumbling beneath them and the many voices over the intercom all relaying travel information in a nonstop rush as the station was in full gear, operating at its maximum output. People went from place to place, shuffling all around as the many sights, smells, and sounds of the polished subway station would hit the outsider all at once...

Welcome to Tokyo...Kimiko Bando.

Kimiko, a newly recruited young lioness was a long way from home. Kimiko had not only had her first car ride in a taxi from her temple to the station she also had her first train ride. The young Japanese woman had little to really do for the ride except for staring out the window and admiring the country side and towns and occasionally look around to see what the other passengers were up to eventually having to get off and onto another train bound for Tokyo. It was her first time away from home, something that did dwell in the back of her mind though it didn't bother her too much since she planned to write to her family weekly. Kimiko trained for years, though never had a match, in addition to the young lioness program helping her complete the family tradition of training with someone else it also opened up the opportunity to begin her career without going through the indies.

After about five hour on the train Kimiko had her fist look at Tokyo, the bustling city scape immediately catching and filling her attention the minute the minute it came in view. Kimiko was amazed by the massive buildings and soon the huge crowds of people and vehicles as the train entered the city limits, never before had she seen anywhere close to this many people, it was as if Kimiko was thrown into an entirely different planet with the amount of lights being near hypnotic.

After several sight filled minutes inside of the city the train pulled into the station and Kimiko reached her destination. Kimiko grabbed her bag and tried to exit though chaos ensued as the clock struck noon passengers trying to exit and enter the train at the same time, it was overwhelming as Kimiko pushed past until she finally made it out onto the platform briefly overwhelmed but calmed down and began to think pulling a letter out of her pocket. "A member of the roster will be there to greet you when you arrive" Kimiko read aloud before looking around the station seeing so many people. "That's real helpful" Kimiko muttered to herself deciding to stand in a slightly open area after deciding it was best to wait a few minutes to see if anyone stands out rather than wandering off and losing track of where she was.

The crowd slowly seemed to converge all around the woman, almost swamping her as the midday rush seemed to get crazier and crazier. Was it just Kimiko, or-...were the walls beginning to close in on her? Things were getting tighter. The air was getting thicker and hotter. There were too many people around. It was too cramped and loud...all these voices and their endless conversations were beginning to drown one another out in a never-ending cascade of pure noise as they mixed and mashed together in an unholy union. There was no other way to describe it than it being just...LOUD. All of this must have felt overwhelming to the newcomer, but in case she couldn't keep it together, it seemed...or rather, sounded...like out in the distance, someone was trying to all out to her...

!!! -Kimiko- !!!

Suddenly...everything would stop. The voices and the chatter would calm down to background noise as everything seemed to fade away. All that was left was a gentle hand on the woman's shoulder, coming from that soft, guiding voice that called out to her just moments ago...that friendly voice that had pulled her out of the black hole of overstimulation that this place was trying to trap her in. If Kimiko turned around, she'd be met with a warm, smiling expression held by a raven-haired Japanese woman with an athletic build and a modest yet amply busty chest, confident but calm. Before Kimiko would be able to react, the woman would speak...

"Kimiko. Kimiko Bando, right? I'm Akari. Akari Ito...Nice to meet you~..." She said, introducing herself with a grin.

With the midday rush in full swing another huge wave of people entered the station making these even more crowded than before, even overwhelming for people who were from the city and new this was a regular occurrence let alone a girl who had never been to the city before. The noise in the station too became overwhelming with the sound of trains, phones, announcement, and dozen's of different people leaving Kimiko a bit panicked and disoriented as she became drowned in the crowd barely even able to hear herself think let alone the voice attempting to call out to her.

Kimiko didn't even look behind her not knowing someone was approaching until she felt a hand on her should causing her to jump in a startled reaction before turning around and seeing a black haired woman, the same height as her with the same hair color the woman's smile was some what calming though Kimiko still felt overwhelmed though before Kimiko could speak the woman asked if she was Kimiko and introduced herself. Taking this as a sign this was the person sent to meet her Kimiko nodded. "Are you from LAW? Are you the one I'm supposed to meet?" Kimiko asked shouting to make sure Akari could hear her.

"Mhm." Akari replied with a warm, inviting smile. "I was notified by the top brass of LAW's talent relations division that I would be in charge of helping you move in and showing you around time. I was sent here to meet you and ensure everything went according to plan, kind of like a welcoming committee...From what I've heard, you don't have much experience in a 'modern setting' like this, right? Well, it's my job to make sure that you don't get lost or anything, so-...think of me as your tour guide and your new best friend! First order of business! A little wellness check~!!! The administration wants me to take a little survey, so I gotta ask a few questions. How was your first train ride ever? Were the accommodations to your liking? How're you feeling so far?"

Kimiko relaxed and sighed in relief hearing Akari confirm she was the right person before listening to the woman speak and explain why she was sent thought Kimiko could have figured most of that part out on her own though the woman was right about her not used to being in a modern setting. "Yeah I've never really haven been around well any of this" Kimiko said glancing around before immediately returning her attention to Akari and her survey questions. "Well to answer your first one it was alright, I was a little nervous getting on at first but it was fine" Kimiko replied. "The accommodations? I mean it was fine, not like I really needed anything but a seat" Kimiko said answering the second question with a small smile. "How are you feeling so far" Kimiko paused, everything felt so strange and alien and it showed she was far away from home. "I'm a little overwhelmed everything's just so.... new, and it feels like there are a million people in one area at a time Kimiko said answering the third question with some nervousness.

"Hm, I see...Don't worry. You'll get used to the feeling soon enough. If you keep to yourself and mind your manners, you'll be just fine. Most people are kind here. The culture maintains this sense of honor and respectability. No one really goes out of their way to cause trouble." Akari said, trying to soothe some of Kimiko's anxieties. "Trust me, you'll love large crowds like these once they're all cheering for you~..." She said, attempting to give Kimiko a hopeful and idealistic fantasy that relates to their shared passion for wrestling. Just think...one day...-no matter how far away-...Kimiko could be standing in the center of the ring, surrounded by thousands of people all watching and cheering her on...what better way to represent the Bando Dynasty than that? It's definitely something to strive for, that's for certain...

"Oh, before I forget...Here!!!" Akari said, reaching into a bag given to her by the administration. "They didn't have anything SUPER up-to-date, but this model is only a year or so old, so it should be in GREAT shape and give you everything you need." She said, handing Kimiko a small, black, rectangular object, something so common to everyone else but might be totally unrecognizable to the newcomer...a smartphone.

Kimiko smiled and nodded hearing Akari's reassurance of crowds not being an issue as long as she was respectful, Kimiko was generally a respectful person as is, never really getting in trouble as a kid being raised in a strict but loving family. Kimiko's smile only grew more as Akari mentioned the crowd that would be the audience when she wrestled, the thought of bringing her family name honor in the ring after so many years of the name Bando being dormant was exciting and what drove Kimiko to want to become a wrestler.

Kimiko was starting to day dream about the fans cheering her name while she stood victorious with a title in her hands before snapping out of it hearing Akari beginning to speak again and seeing the woman reach into her bag and handing her a small black rectangle. Kimiko looked baffled as she inspected every inch of the object handled to her tapping on the glass screen. "I uh... I saw someone using one of these on the train but um... how do I use this?" Kimiko said unsure how to even turn the thing in her hands on.

"Eh...? HUHHH!?!?! Y-You've never used a phone before!?" Akari said, exclaiming her confusion aloud with a shocked expression and widened eyes. She almost caused a commotion in the square before toning herself down. "S-sorry! I just-...wow, you've NEVER...oh man...we're gonna have a LOT to talk about on the way over to your dorm, but uh-...You know what? Don't worry about it." She said, trying to calm Kimiko down, although Akari was the only one not calm about the situation. "Just keep this on you at all times, if possible. This will be your main tool of communication. It's also got some other neat functions on it, but you can do SO much more with it by downloading other programs onto it as well. Don't think too much about it. I'll teach you in due time."

Kimiko felt like she had done something really wrong hearing as well as seeing Akari's reaction to her confession about never using a phone as Kimiko felt like a turtle wanting to retreat back into its shell until Akari relaxed and apologized prompting Kimiko to relax and listen to the woman. "Yeah sorry you got stuck with someone so... primitive" Kimiko replied taking a pause trying to think of the right words before immediately listening to Akari's instructions on keeping the device on her at all times for communication and other things, though the words other programs interested her. Though that would have to wait as Akari told her not to worry about it right now. "So what now?" Kimiko asked putting the phone in her pocket.
