Start of a New Storm (for Terini)

Alizeh sighed softly with a smile on her face as she took a sip of the boba tea in her hands. Today was a special day for it would be the start of her first official mentorship for a young lioness of the LAW Young Lioness program. Granted Alizeh had assisted and done things with a few lionesses at this point, not to mention taking Sanae, a graduate of the program under her wing to instill more knowledge and experience. Today however Alizeh would be starting a true, long standing mentorship. Not just the occasional training session, nor touching up on weak areas, no this would be ground up training, a real test for Alizeh as a mentor, but one she was more than happy to take on.

"Lets see its.. 11:55, I told her to meet me here at noon, hopefully she won't be late since thats the last way I wanna get this started." Alizeh said murmuring to herself as she checked her phone before returning it to her hoodie pocket. From what Alizeh had learned from the teachers for the young lions her mentoree to be was a bit on the reserved side, but very intelligent and skilled for her lack of experience, something that Alizeh was eager to test. First however, Alizeh had to see just what kinda girl this was, so before even getting close to a gym Alizeh had told her to meet her her in a simple cafe so they could get to know each other, and so Alizeh could make her own evaluation of the girl. "Lets hope you meet the praise given to you Reny Selene." Alizeh said to herself with a smile as she watched the door, waiting for the girl to walk in.

Reny would have slowly walk toward the cafe that her future mentor told her to meet her at...when she arrived at the cafe she would have stand outside not moving a single inch to move inside the cafe as she would have look at her watch "...2 more minute" she would have mumble, her mentor told her to meet up at noon so she would need to enter this place exactly at noon to not disapoint the first task that her mentor have givin her

She would have double check herself to make sure that her clothing is tidy enough and that her two gun is there in her pocket...after making sure everything is perfect her mind began to wonder about her mentor...while would she choose her specifically...she done nothing special...her streak is only either by luck or due to her opponent not being used to her boxing style...she could have choosen anyone but why her

Her thought however get interupted as she notice that it is only a few second left until 12:00 as she would have nodded to herself and open the door toward the cafe at exactly 12:00 as she would have a look around before spotting alizeh as she would bow down toward her direction coming closer toward her soon to be mentor "greetings" she said softly as she made sure to at least keep her manner around alizeh

Alizeh hummed softly as she waited, taking another sip of her drink before taking another look at her phone. "11:59 Anddd noo-" No sooner had the time changed on her phone did the door open and the girl Alizeh waited for walked in. One Reny Selene, a rather proper looking small girl that had captured Alizeh's interest despite the two seemingly opposite personalities. Or so Alizeh had been told, but now was the time to find out.

Watching the girl walk over Alizeh would smile brightly at her once she greeted her. "Hehe heya Reny right?" Alizeh asked in a much more casual way, asking the girl's name despite it being utterly unnecessary given the situation but still, Alizeh liked to be thorough. "Come on take a seat." Alizeh said gesturing at the booth opposite to her before sitting back.

'Well here goes.' Alizeh thought to herself before going into the speech she had memorized for today. "You probably already know but I'm Alizeh and I requested you specifically as my trainee." Alizeh said, laying out what both already knew but with purpose.

"I'm sure you're probably curious as to why right?" Alizeh asked, quickly getting to the point of what she was saying before continuing. "Before I explain, I'm wondering if maybe you had any theories of you're own as to why I picked you specifically." Alizeh said, watching Reny's face for reactions, wordlessly evaluating the girl based on how she would respond.

Reny would have taken a sit in front of alizeh when she receive her permission "yeah nice to meet you miss alizeh" she said softly

Reny would have lishen toward alizeh word as alizeh got it right on the mark, she is curious on why alizeh chosen her, in fact it bewildered her when she receive the news. There is a lot more better YL than her...so why request her specifically who won all her match through dumb luck...if there is something that could possibly made alizeh choose her will be...

"My name huh...? That is the reason why you choosen me" Rie would have said as she would have look down not meeting alizeh in the eye...it seem even here she haven't escape their shadow "the Selene name is the one who got you intrested in me...or more specfically my older sister...you are intrested if you could train me up to reach my sister or you are intrested to see if i have even half of the strenght that my sister have...so i have to say that i sorry that i will dissapoint you since i am nowhere near as good as my sister...comparing me and my sister is more of insult toward my sister honestly" Reny mumble softly

Alizeh smiled at Reny as the girl took a seat. She was rather prim and proper, not to mention respectful. Maybe a bit too respectful. After all Alizeh liked a bit of feistiness. But that was something that could be worked on later. For now Alizeh was far more interested in what the girl's thought process was and what she had to work with all things considered.

Admittedly however when Reny looked down and said her family name was why Alizeh picked her, that caused her eyebrow to be raised. 'Oh wow I am seriously gonna have to do something about her self esteem.' Alizeh thought to herself before smiling gently... And promptly reaching over to flick Reny on the head.

"Ennngh wrong. Alizeh said before leaning back and taking a sip of her drink before continuing. "Honestly I didn't even know you had a sister if I'm being honest, but thats good to know." Alizeh said before continuing. "I actually picked you because I asked the instructors of the young lioness program who demonstrated the highest ring iq and knack for learning. You were their top pick." Alizeh said, trying to let that sink in before pressing onwards. "I then watched your matches in the young lioness cup and what training footage they have, read the reports they have about you, and I have to agree. You have some insane potential." Alizeh said with a soft smile, waiting to see how the girl would react.

Reny would let flinch as she would have let out a cute whine when her mentor flick her head as she would have look alizeh in the eye as she cconfuse on why would her mentor suddenly decided go flicks her head

Reny eye would have soon widen when alizeh mention that she doesn't actually know her sister...which mean that she actually pick her because of herself...that alone made her happy...that would mean she actually worth something right...but she shouldn't get her hopes up...even if she did well in the tournament...even if this time her sister didn't overshadow her...she shouldn't held hope for it will only be broken eventually

"Potential huh?...i honestly don't see how you saw any potential in me...i am glad that you decided to pick me to mentor but...i still felt like you could pick someone better...afterall...after all that research and advantage that i have for the tornament on all of my opponent and the end result is something that i am not even proud off" Reny said softly

Alizeh continued to watch Reny's face for her reaction after her response and admitting that she had no idea who the girl's sister was. It was useful if nothing else for determining what may be Alizeh's biggest hurdle in teaching the girl which would be her total lack of self confidence and belief in herself.

Even with the girl's response it was indicative of even bigger lack of confidence, and even undermining her own accomplishments like her performance in the young lioness cup. One of the big factors that had caught Alizeh's interest early on. Even so, raising the confidence of Reny would have to be a slow task to accomplish over time, for now Alizeh was just on a fact finding mission when it came to her.

"Well..." Alizeh said, taking a sip of her drink before continuing. "We'll save going over your performance in the Young Lioness cup later." Alizeh said, effectively tabling that particular topic before moving onto a new one.

"For now, what I want to focus on is you." She said before pointing at the girl with a knowing look. "Tell me, is there any thing you have in mind for how you want your ring style to be? Strikes? Submissions? High flying? I need to know so i can start figuring out what kind of exercises to do for you and moves to teach you." Alizeh said before waiting for a response.

Reny would have titled her head as she would have let out a hum "...i have no idea really? I mean i do have some advantage in term of striking because of my background in boxing but it is probably average at best...and from experience my grappling is also average...so i guess my ring style will be whatever i guess? I definitely don't want high flying that for sure...i like both of my feet stay on the ground whenever possible" she answered

"Tho i would like if i can do at least do everything decently enough, i don't want to have some obvious weakness that could be taken advantage of by my opponent if possible"

Alizeh sat back and listened to what Reny said, nodding softly along. "Ok no aerial moves isn't too bad as far as restrictions go." Alizeh said before smiling brightly at the girl. "Luckily for you I'm a bit of a jill of all trades and have knowledge of most styles." Alizeh said before sitting back. "So more than likely I'll start you off on a little of everything, just to gauge your aptitude, but going off your physique and what I've seen, I think I'll focus on submissions with you for now, sound ok to you?" Alizeh asked the girl, wanting to make sure her though process for her training would be ok with her new student.

"...yeah that is fine with me" she said softly "you are going to be mentor afterall...so whatever you want to teach then i will just simply follow" she said as she would have begin to stretch as her feet would have begin tapping in a rhythm

"Let hope i could actually do well at doing submission...tho i am confident that i could at least reach average if nothing else"
