Marked By The Tengu (For Bare)

Haruka had to admit, she'd not been beaten that badly in ages. Said incident was her debut match at LAW a few days ago, where she masqueraded as Lady Tengu. A supposedly otherworldly seductress that would bring about confusion and dismay to those that dared cross her path, alas she had come up short in her debut match against a broad chested lad called Finlay Zeffer. There was a stirring need within her since that match.

The way she had been so roughly and broadly handled by him was something that wasn't really done in her previous spars or even real life fights, simply put Haruka was keen to get hold of him again. She was able to make excuses for her absences from the Ito clan estate that night, hiding her bruises with makeup and her friends in the theatre. All the while she planned out her next step.

Namely to try and get hold of Finlay, she had let herself rest, removed her black hair wig and light purple contacts. She was quite different now, all the better to hide her identity and prevent her clan from finding out the truth. It was a crisp and clear Saturday morning at a nearby park with very few people around, Haruka was dressed for a jog with wrappings around her legs and a pair of black shorts. She hid her identity with her thick hoodie, her plan was to find Finlay and.......establish communication so to speak.......

After shadowing the lad during his routine around the park Haruka could no longer contain herself, she'd slip out of the bushes ahead of him. Her hands in her pockets and her face shadowed, grinning ear to ear the Ito heiress would suddenly then try to dash right at him while seeking to clip him with a hard kick to the side as she yelled "The Tengu sends her regards human!" just to make sure he was getting to know why he was being ambushed here!

It had been a few days since Finlay's last match in LAW against the mysterious, dark haired, lightweight known as the Tengu. It had been a rough and competitive match up that he hadn't expected to be as difficult as it had been. But in the end he had managed to slay the Tengu and knock her out completely earning the victory over the dark haired beauty.

But ever since that evening the match had taken place he felt... off. Like someone was watching him, or that he wasn't alone when he knew, or thought he knew he should be. Especially when he was out and about on his work outs. Whether it be parkouring or at the gym, or just out eating he felt like there was someone... there.

Today it felt worse than the usual and Finlay felt on edge, like he was ready to jump at a hair trigger. Which was why when a hooded figure jumped out in front of him he stopped in his tracks, body immediately tensing in response. Just as he was about to spring forward to tackle the figure however the figure said something that made his eyes widen in surprise. "What?" He asked in surprise before the figure jumped forward, swinging their leg around into his side! "Ngh!" He grunted out stumbling back a bit while holding his ribs, before glaring and charging forward, leaping forward to try and land a running knee on his attacker.

Truth be told there was always something about fighting in public that enticed Haruka so much, granted she didn't go about actually picking fights outside but sometimes she had been assailed coming out of her local theatre from time to time. Such engagements went about as well as you'd expect for her opponents but it just gave her such a thrill that couldn't be found outside of her dojo arts, so it just enticed and promised great entertainment for the Ito heiress when she could cut loose outside and Finlay just ticked all the boxes for her in this moment.

Good to know that he was taking that hit like a champ at least, even going as far as to retaliate quite well in kind. Perhaps he had some experience in street fights? Delightful, Haruka was enjoying the man for sure~ She grunted out loud as he managed to retaliate by driving his leaping knee into Haruka's gut, the girl grunted out hard and staggered backwards. Yet the strapping lad would most likely hear her chuckling in response to it all. She would raise one of her hands in a mystical manner, as if she was demonstrating a sense of mystery to her~

"Hmmmm not bad human, just as I remember~" Lady Tengu muttered out with a slight laugh at the end of it, perhaps that might help Finlay jog his memory. Regardless Harkua didn't want to just stop there, because she would swiftly duck down low and then leap up to try and wrap her legs right around his waist for a bodyscissors to keep him in place!

To be completely honest this hadn't been the first time Finlay had been jumped before in his life. After all he grew up on not necessarily the best streets and made most of his living off of underground fights. So getting jumped by thugs for money or as a way of getting him to lose a fight on behalf of a better. Sometimes he got beaten down, other times he beat the crap out of whoever was attempting to jump him.

But admittedly this had been the first time he had been attacked by someone like this... Namely a female, a rather petite one at that. He supposed it was inevitable given the kind of company LAW was and how often he had heard of rivalries spilling outside the ring. Granted he thought it was mostly contained to backstage brawls and the gym. So if nothing else he was rather rather surprised from being jumped this way in the park no less by whoever this.... All of a sudden the girl spoke.

Immediately as she spoke the blonde's eyes would slowly widen in response before narrowing at the girl. The pain in his side from that kick dulling from the realization as she charged forward once again. Spreading his legs a bit and preparing himself he did nothing as the girl leaped up, wrapping her legs around his waist as his own split between grabbing her waist and the girl's hood, pulling it down as she locked around him. "Tengu... What are you doing here and why are you attacking me?" He asked her seriously, his arm around her waist tightening in a painful manner to add some pain to her choice in attack.

Haruka couldn't wait to get herself all entwined within Finlay's frame once again, it'd been the first real time that she'd gotten to really grapple with a strapping lad. The spars with her relatives and those louts outside the theatre didn't really count in her mind, they lacked the certain something that only a handsome guy like Finlay possessed. The gilded cage that she was forced into by her parents did little to prepare her for when she did encounter boys, but Haruka trusted her instincts here well hence why she had been totally not shadowing him ever since she could walk again. She got in close, she knew that having revealed Finlay to be hounded by the otherworldly being that it was only a matter of time before the lad put two and two together~

So once she got her legs wrapped around him she grinned ear to ear once Finlay secured her to him and removed the hood, Finlay would certainly find that The Tengu's looks were actually quite different once all her makeup and costumes were away. Haruka's hair was now a dark purple and her eyes were black with white pupils, a birthmark of all that the Ito clan shared to mark them as one of the bloodline. She shined her pearly white fangs at the lad, swiftly getting one of her legs up and around the back of Finlay's neck to prop herself up close to him as she winced at his tight grasp, relying on her lithe frame to let her wriggle around enough to allow it~

Then she'd remain there for a few moments, still and unmoving to let Finlay fully see the differences behind her real looks that of the Tengu that she portrayed in their battle. Before then tilting her head and saying "Mhmhm~ Glad to see you~ You don't need to call me Tengu anymore, for I am here as I am. Call me Haruka! Don't worry, I don't plan to attack you any further. Because as it turns out.......well I'm now your biggest admirer~ No one ever beat me like that before and well.....would you have time for a fan?

'No wonder I didn't recognize her before. She changes her appearance for matches versus out of them. Or maybe just for this character of hers specifically.' He thought to himself in realization as he pulled the lightweight's hood down, revealing her different colored her and significantly different eyes compared to what he had seen in their match. More over what drew his interest besides her looks was her words. The revelation that Tengu was purely a character being dropped by almost the first few words from Tengu's mouth making him narrow his eyes slightly as he look into her own unique set. But her revelation as a admirer of his was both surprising... and slightly disturbing given the context of this little meeting between them.

Wincing slightly as one of her legs snapped up over his shoulders and around his neck the blonde resisted the urge to again admire her impressive flexibility. But what was more important was understanding what she wanted. Pushing her off and trying to ignore her he was sure would only lead to more problems than solutions. So indulging the girl was without a doubt in his mind the best thing to do for himself going forward. He just hoped that doing so wouldn't come back to bite him in the ass later. "Just a few minutes." He said softly in response to her request.

As he said this Finlay would, as best as he could given the tied up position he was in right now, walk out from the marked trail and into the woodlands of the park he usually jogged through. It wasn't much, but it would at least offer some degree of privacy to the two. "Now then..." He said once they were far enough away before suddenly pushing her forward, pressing the Tengu's back up against a boulder, insuring she wouldn't escape. "Why have you been following me?" He said seriously while getting into her face, the distance between them only being a few inches at most!

Finlay would find that despite Haruka's wrapping around of his strapping figure she wasn't offering the lad any resistance, in fact she just became a lightweight ball in his arms as she looked at him with a slight smile. The Ito heiress enjoyed the feeling of having the handsome lad be able to heft her around so, more so without the importance of combat looming over her. Haruka would just let Finlay do what he wished, he'd already proven himself a better fighter earlier and Haruka answered to the law of dominance if her parental upbringing was anything to go by~ Thankfully it seemed the lad would oblige Haruka's request, she'd gotten her foot in the door at least. Time to try and work further on it. She gave a raised eyebrow at where Finlay was taking her, ooooo this might be enticing indeed!

She did give a little giggle as Finlay took her off the beaten path, Haruka was feeling fancy. She grunted lightly as Finlay pressed her up against a boulder, Haruka would rub her legs along Finlay's strapping frame as she then slipped her hand down to her lips in thought as she listened to the lad's question of Haruka's reasons for following him. She kept eye contact with him, letting him see her unique eyes as a herald of her birthmark.

"Well. Its only been for today, cause ya know.......you did a number on me there. Let's just say its left me keen to hang with you, plus.....you were quite the gentleman too. I've not really seen that so it......well stuck in my mind. I was hoping you could hang out with well......boring old Haruka......." Haruka spoke honestly and from the heart there, figured the best way to get the lad to hopefully be willing to hang out with her here~

As he pinned the now named Haruka against the boulder, just to insure that she wouldn't try anything given their positions at the moment. But that being said she at least seemed rather calm and amicable. Even despite attacking him barely a minute or two ago. Finlay was at least fairly certain though that the girl would have a reason for doing so. All that was left was to find out what it was and why she was doing this.

As he listened to her explanation however Finlay would raise a eyebrow in curiosity. Surprised at what she said, and having a bit of a hard time understanding. Or at least his brain was. Continuing to focus on her unique eyes however Finlay would formulate his response, figuring something that would work as he sighed upon deciding on what to say to her.

"Well it is comforting to know that it was only for today." He said off the top, glad that she hadn't been stalking him for long. But that still left the matter of what else she said. "So... you attacked me because you wanted to 'Hang?'" Finlay asked her with another raised eyebrow, still not having a clear idea of what she wanted, but now it was less from suspicion and more so from his lack of proper social skills and experience. A result of how he grew up. "Is that how you normally ask people to hang?" He asked for further elaboration, still relatively confused and using her terms as a result. For now though things seemed to have at least settled somewhat. It all just depended on what Haruka said next.

Haruka might have been a bubbly and outgoing sort, but she was raised in a gilded cage for most of her life. Even when she got the chance to go to her theatre and perform she still had rules and guidelines to follow by her folks, heck they even mostly forbade her from fighting unless it was sparring. Her friends that she had made could often be attested with saying that she might be a tad dense at times, or lack a total understanding of social norms given how she was brought up. The now human presenting Haruka shuffled about on the boulder that Finlay pressed her on, not to escape but rather to try and make herself a bit more comfortable.

It was true, Haruka's way of greeting the lad wasn't the most conventional. Then again........The Ito clan heiress would put a thinking expression on her face and then say "Well.......to be honest. Wasn't really sure you'd give me the time of day otherwise you know? You'd have probably just kept on walking and there I'd be, plus I know you can take me. Even if I was being more.......theatrical out there~" the young lady shuffled around on the rock, looking up at the sky afterwards wishing she had true Tengu wings at this point~

However Haruka would then feel a bit of numbness in her back from the boulder and say "Listen Finlay, I don't want to cause an issue but this is getting sore me on this. Care to move me somewhere else? Or perhaps if you feel confident enough you could jog with me piggybacking you. I'd be quite grateful for any of this~" the performer girl would have her body go limp in Finlay's hold, mostly to show her confidence in his decisions with her that he could pick her up and she'd just let him do whatever. After all he'd already proven himself as her better and the Ito believed in that at the very least~

Finlay would watch Haruka's face carefully as he heard her out. Years of essentially being on his own and in rough circumstances the blonde had become a good judge of character, particularly in cases of telling deceit. It was all but a necessity after all when people he knew would try to backstab or use him to their own means. So staring into his former opponent's eyes he looked for any of the tell tale signs of lying, quirking eyes, twitching faces, a quivering voice. Anything.

Despite his search however he came up short. Noting no signs of falsehoods in her face he also made sure to listen closely to her voice and words. Determining if anything she was saying was laced with ulterior motive or lies. But even still he detected none. Nothing about what Haruka was saying was a lie, rather every word must have been genuine. Something that was... surprising to the blonde given her method of.. introduction. Not that he could boast of being much better at social interactions than the girl currently caught between himself and the bould her pressed her against.

Speaking of... "Oh." He said simply, stepping backwards to ease the pressure on the dark haired girl's body now that he was sure that she wasn't lying, and likely wouldn't pose a threat. At her going limp however, while an appreciated gesture the blonde would grunt, having to tighten his grip on her rear end to support her weight. "Whatever suits you I suppose." He told her, not yet breaking eye contact with her. "You're also free to stand if you like." He offered, at least willing to offer his own form of a olive branch towards his theatrical... guest.
