Making New Friends!

Skylar Jones hummed as she strolled through the halls of the apartment building. Her protege, Sakura Tanahashi, scurried close behind, carrying two grocery bags filled with ramen noodles. "Skyyyyyy, why do I gotta carry all a' this?!" The blonde whined. "Cause you're the apprentice and I'm the master. That's just the way a' things." Skylar answered, hiding her smirk. She believed she'd heard that somewhere, and it gave her a good excuse to make Sakura carry her bags for her.

Sakura had turned eighteen just a month and a half ago, moving into the Young Lioness dorms only a week later. Ever since, she'd been training hard under Skylar to become stronger. She'd done every bizzare training excercize the brawler threw at her with little hesitation, putting her blood, sweat, and tears into becoming a pro wrestler. Literally, there was a lot of sweat, tears, and especially a lot of blood. Tree bark is really hard on the fist, but Sakura toughened up in time! Soon, all her hard work would pay off, as tomorrow she would make her debut at Fight the LAW, LAW's secondary pay-per-view! Skylar had opted to spare her from training today, instead taking her along to meet a good friend of hers, Armagilo!

Skylar knocked on Gil's door with a grin. When her friend opens it, she's greeted with a warm smile. "Gil! Been a minute! How you been, girl?" She asked. "There's someone I want'cha to meet... This is my apprentice, Miss. Sakura Tanahashi!" She grinned, ruffling Sakura's hair. Saku bowed with a friendly smile. "Pleasure to meet'cha, miss!"

Gil was just finishing up tidying up her admittedly rather small apartment, just 1 room, a bathroom, with an open living and kitchen area where Gil and Sky spent most of their time during her visits. Speaking of Sky...

KNOCK KNOCK.

Only a brief few seconds passed before the door unlocked before gently swaying open! "...Sky...! I missed you, we haven't hung out in months...!" Gil immediately wrapped her arms around Sky's neck and pulled her in for a hug, pressing their faces together...! Gil's cuddly, warm nature wasn't just exclusive to those she knew though, she was soon introduced to a new face...! "...Your apprentice?! I had no idea you had one...!" Gil did the same to her, pulling her into a tight hug...!

Gil finally let the girl go before taking a few backwards steps into her apartment. "...You know, Sky isn't my apprentice, but I think I've taught her plenty you know, being the smother-master myself...!" Gil puffed her chest up! "...Oh, where are my manners, come in, please...!" Gil motioned the pair into the apartment. "...Excuse the mess, I tried to clean up a little...!" The place wasn't dirty at all, more so cluttered with plushies, pictures on the wall, blankets and pillows on the couch, the whole place was very much Gil's...!

Skylar smiled, hugging Gil back. "Damn, that long, huh?" She chuckled. She had a rather scrambled sense of time. She thought it'd only been a week. Sakura was soon sweeped up in a hug too, the younger girl pulled into Gil's warmth. Even though she didn't know the girl, Saku couldn't help but to squeeze her in return.

As the two stepped inside, Skylar took off her hoodie, hanging it up on a coat hook. Underneath it was a white tank top. Sakura, placing the bags of ramen noodles on the floor, followed suit, placing her red and black jacket on the coat hook, revealing her black tank top. She even copied Sky's body language.

"So, how ya been, Gil?" Sky asked, sitting down with Saku right next to each other.

Gil causally tucked her hair behind her ear as the pair took a seat on her couch. "...I've been great! Doing my best to tidy up for your visit, other than that, brewing up some articles that will wow the audiences...!" Gil was lucky enough to be able to do much of her work from home, it also kept her out of her more easily annoyed co-workers business...!

"...But pretty much the same ole' song and dance around here, how about you, Sky? And you too, Sakura...!" Gil inquired, plopping herself down on the small coffee table just in-front of the couch, resting her chin in her hands.

"Well outside a' training this squirt, same stuff I always do. Drinking, fighting, fucking..." Skylar shrugged. From one of her bags, she pulled out a six pack of beers. She pulled the lid off one and sipped it, before offering another bottle to Gil. Sakura would also reach for one, but her hand would be slapped away by Sky. Saku crossed her arms, pouting, before perking up at Gil's question."I've been doin' good! Been settling into the dorms great. The girl across from me, Meiyun, is really pretty- I mean pretty nice." She caught herself, but it was far too late...

"Ooh, got a crush, huh?" Skylar asked, her mouth curling into a playful smile. Sakura blushed, twiddling her thumbs nervously. "N-no, Mei's just my friend!" She fumbled, but Sky wouldn't budge. "Oh really? How boutta survey?" She asked. Sakura's face grew more and more red.

"Do you think about her a lot?"

"Yeah..."

"Does hanging out with her alone ever make you feel warm n' fuzzy inside?"

"S-sometimes..."

"When you guys spar, do you feel anything, y'know... down below?"

This made Sakura even more flustered, but she answered her sensei honestly. "Just... just a little..."

Skylar grinned. "Would you ever wanna snuggle up next to her, sharing a worm blanket with 'er while you watch anime together?"

Sakura looked at the floor, again twiddling her fingers. She paused for a few moments, before sighing. "I'd love that..." She answered. As embarrased as she was, she could hardly bring herself to lie to Sky. "Little girl... You're in love." Skylar laughed, offering Sakura a hug. Saku blushed, hesitating, before leaning ln to hug Skylar tightly. "You're right... I guess I am..."

Gil nodded along to Sky's normal antics, it was pretty par for the course, she came to expect that from her, but her newest pal was going to be more interesting, and Gil's suspicions were correct! In just a few words, Sky and Gil found out that Sakura, was without a doubt, in love...!

"...Daww...!" Gil squished her hands against her cheeks, exaggerating her reaction! "...That's so sweet, congratulation, Sakura!" Gil clapped her hands together for the girl, she knew what it was like, and knew just how nervous, but exciting it could be! "...Do you think she feels the same way...?" Gil inquired while ignoring some of Sky's more raunchy implications. "...Gasp! Even more important, do you know her well? It's always important to know someone you plan on getting in a romantic relationship with...!"

Sakura could only blush more at Gil's gushing. "I-it's not that big! She probably doesn't even like me that way, she's just nice!" She said. "Her being my girlfriend would be nice though..." Skylar smiled. "Hey, I bet you could charm her. You're cute, you're cool, you're tough." Hearing that, Sakura smiled sheepishly. "Ya think so?" She blushed. Sky ruffled her hair. "I know so. You got what it takes to be a real ladieswoman." She joked.

Sakura couldn't wipe the smile off her face after that. Such flattery from her idol made her feel like being with Meiyun was more then a pipe dream. Skylar stretched, deciding to be nice and stop putting Saku on the spot. "So, whaddya wanna do, Gil? Watch a scary movie, play some games?

Gil had to let out one more little squeak, it was just too cute to hold it all in! But, she followed suit, leave Sakura's crush alone for now and move onto having some fun...! "...S-scary movie? Only if you hold me...!" Gil giggled, knowing how easy she was to spook!

"...Games huh, I have plenty of those, and I'll just wipe the floor with you like I usually do, this time in-front of your student...!" Gil teased, nudging Sky with her elbow...! "...But totally, I have plenty, let me look...!" Gil bent lower to look under her TV stand, random knick knacks and other things stuffed in a strange type of organized chaos.

"...Let's see, UNO, Jenga, I have poker cards, but they're cats...!" Gil turned to show them off...! "...Or I could whip out Smash too, guests choice...!"
