The Austrian Eagles present: The LAW Christmas Party! (Open Thread)

Harmonia was just as intent to clear the scene before things got out of control, and as the Englishwoman's grasp on her hand tightened she pulled on Molly's arm, leading her away. On one hand, Molly was glad to be away from the scene with Alexa, and to be able to lose herself in the festivities enough to forget about any disruptions to the mood. Yet, even as she followed Harmonia, Molly kept looking back toward Alexa, glancing at her from the corner of her eye, and a frown crossed her face. She didn't know what had sparked the tension between her and Harmonia, but she really didn't want it to become a problem. She wanted this party to be an enjoyable experience for everyone - once again slipping into the mindset of a hostess - and that included Alexa.

She let Harmonia walk her around the corner, coming to a stack of presents - and when she looked up at the ceiling, she froze. Her eyes went wide, and her cheeks flushed, noticing how she and Harmonia were just beneath the mistletoe. She knew just what the Austrian had in mind - and her heart quickened in her chest at the thought of it. She wanted to share this moment with Harmonia, certainly. And she felt even worse at the thought of abandoning her at a time like this. But when she looked back at the next room, she thought once again of Alexa, and she bit nervously at her lip.

"Er, uh...actually, Moni," Molly stammered, as she began to back away, "I'd love to, but...I'd like to go check on something of my own first." It wasn't a lie, per se - and the chaos in the main room would certainly give her enough excuses to tend to. "I'll be back, all right..?"

Harmonia just had thought that everything was perfect, the party, the tree, the mistletoe...and after the chaotic events at her date that finally had a good ending, she thought that nothing could disturb her good mood.
Molly was here, they hosted the party together, were likely dresses and then there was mistletoe that Harmonia just put there for Molly and her to share a kiss.
And then all of a sudden, Molly rejected her.
It was as if icy cold arrows were shot into her stomach, her body ached, she felt sick.
"Molly?", she whispered and then her girlfriend was away...leaving a confused and hurt Harmonia...

The moment the words left her mouth, Molly could feel the guilt setting in. She hated the thought of doing this to Harmonia, especially so soon after they had come together, and at such a happy time. She wanted this to work, and the last thing she wanted was to be the reason it didn't. But she worried what Alexa would think if she went too long spurned by the hosts of the party, and she didn't want that to cast a shadow over the mood. She would get back to Harmonia soon, she told herself. She had to.

Molly sniffled as she turned away, raising a finger to wipe a tear from her eye. She couldn't bear the thought of looking back at the Austrian model; to do so would be to admit the mistake she'd made. But she stood a little taller, repeating words meant as much for herself as for Harmonia. "It...it'll just be for a little while, and I'll be right back..."

When she stepped into the main room, she held her back straighter, clearing her throat, and approached Alexa. "Ah, erm...so, how's the night going for you, miss..? Is everything alright?"

With Takeshi having not yet returned with their food. Alexa would remain alone rubbing her fingers into her temple. As she tried to temper her mood. Suddenly regretful that she hadn't taken Serenity with her instead. Sure Takeshi had his way with words and that calming aura about him but sometimes you just needed that chaotic energy to bounce off of. Something Serenity could certainly do even if she was handful most of the time.

Eventually though Alexa would jump from the sudden address from Molly. Having gotten lost in her thoughts for a moment before she had noticed the host / wrestler approach her. Fuck!... She didn't need this, especially now. And while Alexa did look her over with suspicion at first. She would eventually relax a little and reply back. "Don't you have a party to manage? Maybe a chicken to scrap off the ceiling or a certain bitch tha-" Alexa stopped herself. She was doing it again and with Molly no less. Someone who didn't even do anything wrong. "Ugh... Sorry. Force of habit. But no I'm not feeling great and your girlfriend back there didn't help."

Alexa had been lost in her own thoughts, and when Molly came up to her she caught the brunette by surprise. At once, Molly felt a pang of guilt for having startled Alexa, to say nothing of the guilt she was already feeling for turning her back on Harmonia. Holding up her hands, she backed away from her, her eyelid twitching nervously. "S-Sorry, sorry-!" Molly blurted out, a blush crossing her face. She was doing her best to smooth this whole thing over; now she could only hope she hadn't made the problem worse.

Even when Alexa began to speak, the tension in the air was palpable. Molly bit her lip, folding her arms behind her back. "I mean, I want everyone to have a good time here, and if something's wrong, I want to help with that..." she began, her eyes shiftily scanning the room. "A-And she's not my girlfriend-!" she added, less than convincingly. Then, with a sigh, she held her hand out to Alexa. "Anyway, er...if there's anything you wanted to talk over, I'm here...okay? Maybe you'd like a drink?"

Harmonias christmas was over.
Not only that Molly left her under the mistletoe, her party seemed to be a flop.
Almost no one had came, proving to Harmonia what she always knew...she was a joke to the members of LAW. She could try as hard as she could, getting stronger, planning a new exciting gimmick...she would
always be second class. A midcarter that maybe would get a match here and there.
A pompous Ex-Model...
A ditzy Bimbo, only fitting to roll around in the mud and look sexy...
But all of this was nothing compared, to the worst thing. Yes, she wanted to keep it a secret until her "big reveal" but that did'nt mean they were'nt a couple..or had Molly sudden doubts about them.
Maybe all she thought she had gathered was just a fluke in the end...but a week ago everything seemed so promising...
"No...", she whispered and wiped tears from her eyes but to no avail as the tears kept running...
Harmonia walked by her other guests like a zombie and got to the bar.
There she opened a beer...not her last one this evening...
She just could'nt anymore...it was too much.
And the tears kept flowing as was each new bottle...

This wasn't Chris' scene, not at all. Her scene was live shows, thrashing in the put and maybe getting a kiss or three from some random girls that got too into the chaotic mess. Her scene was her bed, playing her guitar and writing music to further her career or live streaming an unplugged set for her followers. She barely knew how to interact with people face to face outside of the ring. The rockstar performer was way more introverted than people ever thought she was. And not only that, this was a party for a holiday she didn't enjoy.

But unfortunately, she was currently sharing a living space with one Tania Trom, a wrestler who had yet to debut and a roster mate. The Irish girl was a lot, going on about her girlfriend nearly constantly even if it was a tangent that had nothing to do with her original point. Heck, they were discussing groceries after a test recording session and suddenly she was telling a story about a time she made a tiny grass ring for this 'Michelle.' How she got there was a whirlwind of side tangents, when all Chris was asking was if they were getting whole milk or two perpercent.

The problem was that Tania was video chatting with her girlfriend, and Chris didn't want to be there for another forced, brief 'hello' to the other girl. Aaaand maybe also she didn't want to hear the cyber sex the two were about 98% likely to have. That wasn't just a made up statistic, Chris had been trying to sleep so many nights when the two chatted, even buying ear plugs, and would hear them. Tania was so, so fucking loud. How they didn't get complaints about it was beyond her.

Anyways, bars were usually just filled with tired, alone, sad sacks who tried to drink away their sorrows. That was no place for a rock star to be, even if she herself did have a reason to want to do so. So that's how she ended up here, at the Eagle's Nest, with a bottle of red wine in hand. There was probably already drinks here, but Chris was invited and she was raised to always bring something when invited somewhere. It was oy polite.

"*sigh* Maybe it won'tbe so bad. Maybe it'll only be a select few people?" She told herself fkr the umpteenth time, having been standing there for about five minutes alone. The rocker was working up the courage to be a little social, and that was going...... poorly. "Come on. You've faced women bigger than you down and come out on top. You can get around this little anxiety." That was the fourth time she'd used that line on herself.

With a big gulp, she raised her hand for the sixth time, hesitated, and hesitated.... And for the first time knocked on the door! Twice her fist hit wood and then instantly she'd regret it. "Nope, never mind. Tania moaning out Michelle's name as she peaks sounds a lot more appealing than this." And she tried to turn away and leave before anyone answered.

Harmonia Edelstein was sitting behind the bar, fighting tesrs of frustration and confusion and looked down on her shoes.
"Scheiße...", she said and opened the second beer, she had a good share of punch already, as she drank with the guests that arrived and the beer certainly did'nt help to make things better, but at least for a while it did.
What should Harmonia do?
Ask Molly directly?
Give her time?
Was she too fast...but they were a couple were'nt they...even if unofficial...

Suddenly she heard the door and sprung back in motion again.
Who could this be?
She got up and sighed. Well, all things considered, she still was the host of this party so she walked up to the door and opened it as her smile grew.
"Ach du meine Güte.", she said excited and let Chris Yukine in.
"Chris, what a pleasure.", the slightly drunk host said.
"How nice of you to come! Aaaw don't you look supercute. Give me your coat oh and hot drinks are over there and...", she started to bombard the poor social akward snowball in front of her, not knowing that this was the wront tactic to get on Chris good side...

Alexa was about ready to tell Molly to buzz off. The gesture and sentiment was touching but what Alexa needed was someone to bitch with and she was pretty sure the co-host of the party she was attending wasn't the best candidate for that but just as she was about to dismiss her. She would suddenly have a change of heart. She supposed if there was ever a good time to make friendly acquaintances she suppose now was good as any. Plus she at least could tell Janice that she had "tried".

"Fine. If you insist take a seat. Though it's not like there's a lot to talk about. It's just that I didn't want to be here. Nothing against you or your totally "not girlfriend" but my manager made it a point for me to at least stay for a few hours. Wants me to make a friend for a change." Alexa started. With her having rolled her eyes at the word friend.

A party? At the Eagles nest? Amirah had debated going or not, but she figured she’d stick around for a while. She didn’t really care for Christmas after receiving coal three years in a row, but a party was always nice.

Also, alcohol! A smile on her lips formed, as she’d have two bottles of wine in either hand, Amirah quite literally kicking the half open door in with a loud call of “JOLLY GOOD CHRISTMAS, PEASANTS!!” Escaping from her lips.

The white haired woman clad in a green, jewelled dress walkwd into the room, surveying the.. mess. She’d shrug. Not really her issue, she had wanted to cause one herself! Eyes zoning in on Harmonia, she’d smile widely, looking at her oh so hated rival, half drunk and half in tears.. maybe she could help her. Maybe. Big maybe, depending on how generous Amirah felt today.
