Fish Out of Water! - Anzu Mazaki & Blaise Cameron

Anzu calls out the first count. Blaise's eyes widen a bit more. "H-hey!," he fusses. His legs wriggle a moment before suddenly pushing out with a burst of force to break the pin! He ends up toppling onto his side, then flopping promptly onto his back.

"Not quite yet," he smiles at her, playful glint in his eyes. Sure, he's still lying there, potentially vulnerable to some follow-up attack, but he's taking it fairly easy with her still. "Still gotta work for it!"

Anzu didn't get much from her awkward pin, but she got a much needed brake. Anzu would get back up to her her feet and would look at Blaise and respond by saying. "Oh I will, you'll see." Anzu said before she'd playfully wink at Blaise. Then Anzu would try to look for an opening. She couldn't really find one, so she tried just rushing head first into the fray with a Running Dropkick to try and build some momentum in her favor.

There was no follow-up for a while with Blaise lying prone in the sand. And so, he quickly gets back up to his feet, patting himself over to remove a few patches of clingy sand from his skin.

Once done, he puts his focus right back on Anzu. "Ready and waiting!," he challenges, just before getting rushed by the spunky 'opponent'. His eyes widen in shock, and her bare feet nail his toned pecs. "Hff!" Knocked off his feet, Blaise lands flat on his back again in a sprawl, briefly dazed. His left hand plops over his eyes to shield from the sun, accompanied with a mild groan.

Anzu's Dropkick connected and she'd hit the sand before she'd shield her eyes from the bright Sun as she looked up. Anzu had to take advantage of this moment fast before it went away. Anzu would quickly scramble back up to her feet before she'd try and grab Blaise's legs and lift them in the air. Anzu would then look down at Blaise and say. "Guess what I'm gonna do next." Anzu said before she'd try to use Blaise's propped p legs to jump in the air and attempt to Legdrop Blaise on the throat for some damage. They were on sand sand so the immpact woulldn't be as hard as it would've been if they were in a ring.

Blaise can't tell what's going on, thanks to that ridiculously bright sun overhead! His hand remains in place, hiding his eyes, but he feels his legs lifted. He expects a submission hold, actually. That's usually what comes with these. That wouldn't be so fun, though.

"Uhh. Uhh...," Blaise stalls. Not being able to see her really hinders his ability to guess! "Well- hkk!"

Her bare leg lands across his throat! That hurts, sand or no sand! Eyes bulge out and his hand moves out of the way, trying to roll over and cover his neck as he gags and struggles to get his breath back!

Anzu would feel bad after the move realizing how painful it must have been on Blaise. "Oh my gosh!!! Are you okay?!" Anzu said with concern. In a match scenario normally a pin attempt would happen but Anzu would stop for a moment to make sure everything was alright with Blaise. Anzu would run over and get a bottle of water for Blaise to hope that everything was okay, and that he could breathe properly. She wasn't skilled in CPR so that was out of the question but she thought the water would do him some good as she handed it to him.

Blaise's breathing is rough, having to take huff, huffs each breath. But it isn't anything he won't recover from, and in a remarkably speedy way. Resilience is something the spry teen has going for him in spades. And by the time she's run a waterbottle to him, he's already propping himself on an elbow and looking up at her.

Seeing her there with that concern and bottle, he can't help but grin. "Awh.." He reaches out to lightly nudge the girl's knee. "You're kind've a sweetheart, aren't ya?" He takes the bottle from her and plants it in the sand above his head; he'll get at that later. For now, he reaches back out to her in an effort to catch her wrist and yank her down with him, roll over, and end with her on her back and him lying across her chest. It's not a very restraining pin at all, and is perhaps better described as play-wrestling.

Blaise would trick Anzu after he placed the water in the sand. Anzu would then be pinned down by him. However, She'd try to make the situation more advantageous to her. Anzu would try to wrap her arm around him head and try to shift her weight to attempt a Side Headlock Takeover. If it worked Anzu would have Blaise pinned beneath her as his head was nestled in between her right breast and right bicep with Blaise's shoulders on the floor. It was worth a shot.

Of course it works. Blaise scarcely even struggles to hold her down. In truth, a part of him is very curious to see just what she can do - or what she will do. So he's tumbled over, headlocked, and pinned under the girl to the tune of a bright laugh.

"Whaaat?," he faux-protests. "Wasn't comfortable?"

He squirms beneath her, causing his face to brush against her breast, among other things. "Think you can hold me down like this? You're crazy..!"

Anzu giggled a bit as she felt Blaise’s face brush against her breast as she kept the Side Headlock in. Anzu would try to keep the hold locked in and keep Blaise’s shoulders down on the floor. “Oh yeah? Bring it!!” Anzu teased sticking her tongue out as she tried to keep Blaise’s shoulders down as she would begin to count for a pin. “1!...” Anzu began to count hoping to steal a win as she seemed to have Blaise distracted.
