For a moment it seemed things were fine they joked around while they got ready to order drinks and Noloty didn’t see anything wrong with going for Rosie’s hand. She knew something was wrong from the way Rosie’s hand froze and looked at Rosie to see she was processing what Noloty did, her smile gone. Bad sign. Then Rosie pulled away nervously to order a drink. It felt like she was being dragged underwater. Noloty’s smile was only half as big as it was before. The lights were turning off, she was shut out. Suddenly most drinks didn’t seem strong enough for what she needed. “Negroni.” Her words to the bartender she was barely paying any kind now. She was trying to not look hurt. Maybe now she should say something? Something that would get Rosie to look at her again. “Besides getting back in the ring what else is on the agenda? Any asses that need kicking?”

Rosie waited in uncomfortable silence until Noloty spoke up again. She looked over at her and then smiled, letting out a small laugh. "Well, I beat the ass of the chick who did this to me... so I don't really need revenge or anything. So it's a weird feeling, not needing to hold a grudge," said Knuckles, shaking her head.

The bartender would then drop off the shots, allowing Rosie to change the subject and bring a little bit of levity to their situation. She held up her glass and said, "Alright, what are we cheers'ing to? We got two of these, so we got two chances to not screw this up." She teased Malche, winking at her. "So for for the last one... let's do it to good health, alright?"

She would raise her shot glass up, then pound it down when Noloty was ready. Making a face very briefly at the burning from the shot, she would then pick up the second one, grinning. "So what are we celebrating with the second one?" asked Rosie, swirling the glass in her hand as she listened for Noloty's suggestion.
