The legend of Sir Pounce-A-Lot

To Kate's surprise, none of what was in her apartment earned a laugh, it did nothing to stop her from blushing but she left a mental note regarding that. As she entered and closed the door behind them. "I won that one a few months back at a convention, just my luck that the lift was broken that day." She said with a slight chuckle, they were on the seventh floor after all so it was a bit to pull up but it was worth it. Then she noticed what Alizeh was looking at, she never much liked talking about her achievements, they always felt odd for a lack of a better word, like it was not her that earned them, that she somehow got them out of luck or a loop in the system. Though if Alizeh wanted to make that into a topic, there would be no reasonable way to stop it.

Walking around the kitchen island, Kate would smile "Thanks, managed to snag it off the winnings I got before LAW, just renting it but it's big and well located." Then she opened the fridge and turned to the green-haired woman "You want something to drink?" She asked. Meanwhile, from the moment Alizeh laid down, Pounce tried finding a good place to lie down, on the way here he almost fell asleep but the changed position made it less comfortable, eventually making him settle higher up on Alizeh's chest, facing her with his paws tucked under his chin

Alizeh whistled softly as Kate explained where she got the lapras plus as well as the pretty sweet place making Alizeh chuckle. "Niceee I hope I Can get a place like this eventually. Or heck at least a plush like this, though I think I'd prefer a snorlax though." Alizeh said jokingly before looking up at Kate as she offered a drink and nodded. "If you got any soda I'll take some, its my cheat day." Alizeh said before turning her attention to a little bit of movement on her chest which turned out to be Pounce settling in making Alizeh smirk softly as she gently stroked his back while he relaxed, finding the little kitty to be a nice little distraction until Kate came over.

"Oh please, you are one of the biggest stars LAW has to offer, I'm sure you could get a better place if you wanted." Kate said looking a bit sceptically at Alizeh before digging through the fridge and producing two cans of soda. "My sis has a bean bag Snorlax chair, could ask her where she got it from." She continued going back to Alizeh and handing her the drink. right after which she would go to an adjacent room for a moment before returning and setting a small Snorlax plush on the woman's stomach. "I have a mini version though." She said with a smile, finding herself feeling far more comfortable seeing how Alizeh responded positively to what she saw in Kate's home so far. Then she would sit next to the greneete.

Meanwhile, Pounce was on his way to dreamland, purring softly as he dozed off. wiggling a little in place, he managed to roll off from Alizeh and land on the giant plushy. He meowed in confusion, looking up through his sleepy eyes before deciding that the surface he was on now was in fact comfortable enough and curling himself into a comfortable position between two women.

Alizeh chuckled softly as she heard what Kate said, sitting up slightly to accept the drink from the woman. "I could but its just me, so I don't really have reason for a bigger place. Maybe later on, but with how chill the landlord is I'm not super keen on moving ya know?" Alizeh said with a small smile on her face. Cracking the can of soda and taking a sip Alizeh would let out a small oof as the the snorlax plus was placed on her chest! "Cuteeee." Alizeh cooed out before smiling at Kate. "Please do, and I didn't know you had a sister. Older or younger?" Alizeh asked as she placed the can of soda down on the table before turning to look at Kate while reaching over to gentle run her fingers over Pounce's back as he slept.

Kate leaned back, half laying on the giant plush, looking at Alizeh. Her bright red blush cooled down to a slightly rosy one as she got more comfortable. 'I could get used to this' She thought to herself. "Admittedly I did get a bit carried away with this one, I have an entire big room that stands empty. After the pet debacle, I think I'll be moving soon though." she said, taking a sip and setting a can down. "Two sisters actually, the older one is in the army. The other is my age, she was adopted. She actually lives not far from here." She paused then her smile grew. "Watch this!" She said before starting to scratch pounce on the very top of his little head to which the kitten started to arch before flipping over his head sneezing but still sleeping through the whole thing.

Alizeh chuckled at what Kate said about moving. "Heh seems reasonable. Too bad though, it is a nice place." Alizeh said listening as Kate explained her family situation which made Alizeh blink in surprise both at Kate having a older sister, as well as one her age. 'I always expected middle child tbh.' Alizeh thought to herself before nearly squealing in glee at seeing what Kate did too Pounce.

Barely containing her smile Alizeh would chuckle and ran her fingers gently along his side again. "God he's so cute." Alizeh said before smiling at Kate. "I see. Kinda surprised she lives nearby, does she work in Japan or is she planning on joining LAW herself?" Alizeh asked half jokingly at the end but knew it was very much a legitimate possibility given the amount of family that worked at LAW together.

Hearing Alizeh's reaction Kate chuckled a bit before some blush returned to her face. 'Cool, hot and cute... that should be illegal' She thought to herself, trying to remember one of the breathing techniques Huan thought her, as she filed it in her mind, "the useless one" as all it was meant to do as per Huan's own words, was to stop her from blushing, she had no idea why she would even show that, though the shit-eating grin was giving her a good guess, especially now... And it proved to be calming as well. Just as she started to feel comfortable again, a thought passed her mind as she looked Alizeh in the eyes "Should I tell her she is cute?" then all the breathing went right out the window as her face burned bright red. She buried her face in the plushy and despite herself, she grumbled at her awkwardness, echoed by a similar grumble from a still-sleeping kitten knight.

Breathing into the fabric was a bit like breathing into a paper bag, a few breaths, her heart rate slowed and she peaked back up at Alizeh, not fully getting her face of the plush but enough to be understood. "She started college, I did mention she could try for LAW, she just said she'd think about it. I think she could make it, her kickboxing is good and she moves fast... it's her choice though" Returning to Alizeh's question felt like dodging a bullet, she knew perfectly well everything she did was in plain view but she could at least pretend like it was not.

Watching Kate's peculiar reaction as the girl buried her face into the plush with a deep red on her face. However ALizeh wasn't put off much at all, in fact she found it rather... cute. Something she wouldn't hesitate to mention once Kate finally came up from the plush and answered what Alizeh said making her chuckle a little bit again before replying. "I see. A kick boxer eh? Definitely could do well I think. You should introduce me at some point." Alizeh said with a nod before gaining a little mischievous smirk towards Kate. "By the way... You looked down right adorable just now." Alizeh said cheekily.

Kate breathed easier for a moment as her little embarrassing display seemed to be overlooked, something she was grateful for. "I sure will..." She said, her sister already knowing about Alizeh, in excruciating detail in fact as she had to bare with Kate as she agonized about the confusing mess her feelings were. Then the incident from just a few seconds ago was brought up, causing Kate to once more hide herself in the soft surface of the Lapras as she grumbled half embarrassed, half happy to hear what she did. then she would turn, the remains of her blush still clearly visible on her face as she struggled to maintain eye contact. "Come on you chicken! Just say it, say something, god damn it!" She berated herself internally before managing to quickly get out "That was my line!" and internally cringing, though she supposed it was better than nothing

Alizeh knew Kate was blushing, hard no less, after all it was pretty obvious. Though she found it rather adorable from the girl and made it known to her which only made her spial harder, much to Alizeh's delight as she giggled in response. Smirking as she saw Kate look at her halfway from the blush the words that came out of Kate's mouth made Alizeh blush slightly as well, but not get anywhere near as flustered as she leaned closer to Kate with a cheshire grin. "Oh so I'm adorable huh?" Alizeh asked, turning things right back around on Kate by twisting her words around on her, knowing full well it would make her blush even worse.
