Severin got himself out of another predicament, but this time he wouldn't be able to capitalize. He'd just gotten back on his feet when Arlise pushed herself off the mat to drive hers into his gut. It was like a wall he'd run into abs-first, not quite knocking him breathless, but sending him stumbling back a few steps. An initial impulse told him to get back on the offensive as soon as he regathered his footing. Maybe leap at her with a rolling senton or a dropkick of his own.

Nah. She was a little too rounded to be caught by that.

And that was when it set in: Alix had it right. He needed to face a woman like Arlise in a match like this. She was the perfect test. Ticks his boxes for what he'd want in a Hentai match, with that strong competitive edge that would force him to work for whatever ground he gets.

He let out a chuckle when he realized this, one that had been made softer as he hadn't gathered the breath he'd lost that second. If she wanted a little distance, she'd have it. But only for as long as it took her to get back on her feet. Then he'd make his approach, arms raised in that standard call for the collar and elbow tie-up. He wanted to see about her power.

For all her usual reliance on persistence and aggression, Arlise knew - and had re-learned, recently - the value of a breather.

With him having notched the only "take" of their match so far with his powerbomb, Arlise could see no reason to continue to roll around on the floor while neither of them gained an advantage. She would expend herself for nothing. Kicking him away allowed her to fall back on her ass - and almost silently groan as even that gentle landing sent a wave of pain up to her shoulders - and give herself another couple of seconds to mentally piece together the parts of her back that his maneuver had jostled.

The moment's respite also reminded her that she had grown quite hot beneath the leotard collar before he had decided to slam her.

Those sensations summoned one last bodily ache before she set them aside for the moment, clasped the loose parts of her leotard back to the mock choker around her neck, and pushed to her feet as he mirrored her. She peered at him with a seductive pout. "I promise a treat, and I am thanked with a powerbomb," she quipped as she adjusted her sleeves. "Such a shame."

Logistically, the redhead felt she had nothing to gain by locking up with him - for all her deceptive power, most burly men could eclipse her in a test of strength. Her pride and stubbornness informed her that she would not avoid the test of strength, however, and the Belgian beauty slithered forward, unspoken sass on her face, with boldness until she imposed on his space and locked up their arms.

She lurched into him almost as soon as they made contact, trying to earn a cheeky first step as they gauged strength.

There was only so much that Arlise could do to hide the damage that powerbomb did. But that ginger rise told the tale. When the guilt threatened to well up, he reminded himself of what happened the last time he held back. That shut the old him up.

It was a damn shame to see that collar go back on, though.

Severin would meet her pouting with an impish grin. "Yeah, well, I'm not gonna lie: I'm still new to the whole Dominant/submissive thing. Didn't get to explore it until after I came to LAW. So maybe I'm wrong, but my experience tells me that sometimes, you've gotta act up to make things fun. And for what it's worth..." He rubbed his hands together and continued, "I give a good massage. Just call me Dr. Feelgood when this is done. If you'd like."

Arlise met him with a miniature launch, pushing him back a step. Two. And yet, he smiled. He'd put on weight to both prevent that from happening so easily and to be able to do it more easily himself, but that liking for women who can throw him around stayed right where it was. But like he said, this wasn't going to be any fun if he didn't act up.

So he pushed, and pushed, and pushed, looking to pin her into the matted wall behind her.

Arlise continued to plant seeds. She need not carry the same uncertain feelings in these After Dark matches as she had in the company's more mainstream matches, those internal debates to determine the Arlise she most wanted the audience to see. Few knew about her participation here, few would watch it outside of those most interested, and all those involved knew that one did not request such a match without an understanding of exactly what would transpire. If she won herself a few points - the entire match - with bold flirtatiousness, she would savor the success.

She did not appear to have won him over, however. While her burst of strength as she locked up with him did find her some success, her pretty face scrunched up as he began to force her back, step by step. She did manage to stop his progress a time or two - hard work in the gym since her match with Alaina had done wonders - but her back would not allow her to summon all the strength she needed to put up her roadblocks. Nonetheless, bulging muscles emerged from the curves of her hips, her thighs, and the exposed stretch of her pale shoulders, giving the cameras a sight to behold.

Her heel scuffed the wall before her back did, and Arlise knew that her time to overachieve and live up to her Titania name had come to an end if she did not want to end up in a predicament. Fortunately, she had already developed something of a plan, even if her face remained scrunched in effort and concentration and her muscles had begun to burn and tremble. As soon as her thick rear bumped the wall, she suddenly tugged on him, made her form small, and escaped into the basement, hoping his momentum would carry him into the wall and allow her to pull him down to the ground with a single-leg takedown.

We're just gonna have to see who's gonna need those hands more.

Some of those seeds were starting to bear fruit already. For one thing, that brief taste he got from her attempt at a headscissor hold had him curious about how those legs would feel wrapped around his ribcage. It's come to be one of his favorites to be locked into. There's a sort of intimacy to it that can be shared on both ends. The very same that's made him so fond of good ole' missionary and cowgirl.

With the positioning being as exact as it is to pick up the W, combined with Arlise's penchant for weaponizing those legs, it might only be a matter of time.

Her core strength was crazy. Even with a messed up back, she was able to push back hard enough to make this a slow drive. How would it appear to those watching the stream, watching these two powerhouses locking up, muscles flexing, sweat already beginning to drip down their forms -- with him being larger, but still having a hard time of it? How much of a beast would she have been if she were completely fresh?

And that power was backed up with cunning. Severin had fallen into her trap, believing that her efforts were being devoted entirely to her head-on resistance. She did exactly what he would've done in her place, more or less, using the environment to trip him up. Slipped right between his legs, fast, leaving him to smack into the wall face-first, thrown right into it with his own momentum. It was a briefly discombobulating POW! where the surprise did most of the damage, followed by that done to his ego in being made to look like a typical Goliath when he's spent so much of his life -- all of it prior to LAW, really -- as a David.

And then down he went, caught off guard again...
