Kennedy looked at her daughter for a second before Bobo dug his paws in her blonde hair. She scratched the back of her head before answering.

“Well, I didn’t want to keep bogging down my former roommates with having to watch my animals. It was a really small apartment and Chris could only take so much of my animals scouting around the place. I figured moving in with you was my only other option and I’m sorry if it seems sudden. I’m looking for a house at least so this is only a temporary living situation for a little while. You can stay here or move with me once I have stuff finalized. Plus, if we’re going to be family now, might as well get to spend quality time together even under the same roof.Watch movies, tell stories, talk about our days over dinner, the usual mother-daughter stuff,” Kennedy explained.

Emily smiled at Kennedy as she continued to give Bobo the attention he wanted. She nodded in agreememt with what her mother had said, realising that it made sense.

"Makes sense. Havent had that sort of discussion since my mothers passing, so would be nice to go back to that sort of thing. No need to apologise. If anything, I should apologise for the mess here. I did not get the chance to properly clean..." She said, looking around at the house, which wasnt particularly well organised, and with the addition of the boxes of Kennedy's belongings, did look a bit cluttered.

Kennedy looked around as well seeing lots of clutter and she wasn’t talking about just her own boxes. There were some of Emily’s outfits laying about, some dishes that needed to be cleaned, a trash can filled with garbage to take out to the curb, and some of the ceiling fans had collected dust. Kennedy knew it was time to do a little spring cleaning and put away things which would take quite awhile. She brought out Bobo and Rodrigo’s cages setting them in the spare room placing each of them on both sides of the bed. Kennedy then clapped her hands and spoke with a stern tone.

“Boys, we love ya, but we need to get busy getting this sorted. You can come back out after,” Kennedy instructed her pets.

Boob climbed down Kennedy getting into his cage and Rodrigo flew over to perch on the cage as Kennedy guided him inside locking both of their doors. Phillip came off the couch and went into the spare bedroom hopping on the bed laying down. Kennedy closed the door after putting a few of her boxes in there which she would take care of afterwards. She smiled at Emily as she grabbed a feather duster.

“I’ll dust and do the dishes. You take out the garbage. Let’s get this place looking clean!” Kennedy cheered before going over a fan with her duster.

Emily watched as her pets obediently followed Kennedy's orders to leave them in peace. It was clear that they knew exactly who was in charge here, and that put Emily at ease. She did not know how to deal with them if they started to become unruly. Thankfully, they were well trained by Kennedy.

As Kennedy grabbed a feather duster and said that they should clean the house, Emily nodded agreeably. It was one of many things that she had procrastinated over, and she was somewhat of a slob. She started to wander around the house, picking up various cups, plates, dishes and cutlery that was littered around, before taking them to the sink and filling it up. She then began to wash them all up one by one.

"So, have you actually seen any of my fights?" She asked Kennedy while she was hard at work.

Kennedy did a quick scope over the ceiling fans knocking off dust that was piling up and occasionally getting the broom and dustpan to clean up the dust bunnies. She would stick them in the trash before going back to dusting continuing this cycle. Emily decided to go ahead with the dishes and make small talk asking her mom if she saw any of her matches.

“I have! Done my research so I know your style. You’re very methodical and patient with how you wrestle. My favorite had to be this multi-fall match against this girl named Tracee. You know her?” Kennedy asked her daughter.

"Well, we are currently dating. We havent gotten too far in just yet, but since we have already gotten very up close and personal with each other, and we seem to click pretty well, its safe to assume we hit it off pretty well" Emily said with a blush as she continued to methodically work her way through the dishes. "And yes, I try to avoid panicking during matches. Being strong mentally is just as inportant, if not more important, than physical ability in this line of wrestling. I know it all too well."

Emily let out a deep breath before finishing off the last of the dishes and putting them on an airing rack to dry off, before heading to a storage cupboard to get the small vacuum cleaner she had.

Kennedy listened intently seeing Emily drone on about her girlfriend and she nodded her head dusting some vases and a glass surface nearby.

“Ah, young love. I mainly just experimented in my youth. My parents sent me to private school and that’s where I found out I was bisexual. Did it tons of times with men and women, but strongly preferred men at the time. Then, it just flips back and forth from there. Then, I became polyamorous and preferred women. I have like seven, eight, ten girlfriends, I lost count,” Kennedy explained.

Emily let Kennedy finish her sentence before proceeding to turn on the vacuum cleaner, spending approximately 20 minutes vacuuming every room in the house, with the exception of the spare bedroom. She then proceeded to put the vac away and organise some objects on the walls and on the mantlepiece.

"Ever since I was in high school, I knew I was bisexual, leaning towards females. Its not like I dont like sex with the opposite gender, its just that I find a lot of men to be rather, strange. Granted, I can be strange myself, but i have had men ask me what bra size I am within the first few sentences of meeting me. Its clear what they want. So unless I find a man that isnt a creep, I will stick to women." Emily replies, heading into the kitchen once again.

"Fancy a drink, or something to eat?" She asked politely

Kennedy listened to Emily as she was talking about how she knew her sexuality. The former Jungle Queen could relate a little bit as all the guys in private school just wanted to bang her. She didn’t mind. She wasn’t looking for serious relationships at the time so she didn’t mind hooking up, but it did give her a hefty reputation on campus. Ah, the days of her youth and just thinking about that made her feel so old.

“Men….strange creatures,” Kennedy joked with a hearty chuckle. “You got beer or wine, sugar?”

Emily remembered how much boys in her school were trying to swoop at her and flirt at her to get her attention. The ampunts of times she had to force men away from her was obscene, and it was one of the lowest parts of her life. She didnt want to relive that part of it again, so she put on a mental block and headed to a small fridge seperate from the main one.

She pulled out two wine bottles, one red and one white. She never drunk alcohol herself, but always had a couple of bottles in case she got guests who were interested in it. She then proceeded to go back to the living room and put the bottles on the coffee table, along with a wine glass. She then went back in the kitchen to pour a glass of fruit cordial, before once again returning to Kennedy, sitting next to her.

"Hopefully one of those will suit you. They are hardly top of the range, but the expensive wines are a bit out of my reach in terms of cost." Emily admitted
