Unconventional Wisdom - Shiori & Rai

This was it! Comiket Mini Fukuoka, one of the biggest mini doujinshi events of the year! In preparation for the real Comiket in August, hundreds of Japan's best fanartists were descending on Fukuoka. Manga, drama CDs, and all the rest would be on sale. Not to mention meet-and-greets with real idols and seiyuu and manga artists. This was like one big prequel to everybody's favorite late-summer fan event -- but it was awesome in its own right!

And as Shiori swung open the door to her hotel room, she was more than ready to start this vacation. She'd gotten her time off approved by both Eiji and Dr. Morgenstern, so there was nothing to think about except how empty her wallet would be by the end of the convention... and the slight possibility that she got recognized by an eagle-eyed LAW fan.

The Fangirl slid her luggage into the room, leapt into the air, and clicked her heels, all while humming along to the poppish anime OP blasting through her headphones. She broke out into a dance, finger gunning everything in sight as she broke out into song.

While the Fangirl was busy rocking out and humming along to her headphones...what she COULDN'T hear, was the running water of the shower coming from the closed bathroom door, indicating that the room was, in fact, already occupied!

Indeed, young Rai Kamiya, the 18 year old jobber and Young Lion from LAW, had already booked this room, excited that the money he had been earning from Law, even with his losing streak and 0 wins, was still more than enogh for him to afford a ticket to Comiket Mini-Fukuoka, as well as a train ride, taxi, and hotel room all to himself!

To say he was excited, was an understatement of the highest degree! Growing up, money had been tight, as Tokyo was no cheap place to live, and his mother had to work 3 jobs to support them and make ends meet, and as Rai grew up and understood more about their situation and the importance of finances, and became less his mothers son and more her "business partner" of sorts, he often denied himself all sorts of opportunities growing up, to help save money and not waste it needlessly.

That meant no conventions, no events, no concerts, and overall very little in the ways of fun, all in the name of saving money for where it mattered, and putting less burden on his dear mom.

But now, he was an adult! With stable income! and whilet the fight purse for losing fights, like he constantly did, wasn't a great amount, the fact that he had moved into the LAW free dorms for rookies greatly lessened his mothers workload, as had the money he'd been sending her ever since he started fighting, and while he didn't keep much leftover for himself, it was enough to save up and finally start attending fun events like tonight, his very first ever convention!

So he'd arrived early, unpacked his bag and put everything away so neatly there was barely any proof anybody had been in the hotel room, and was currently enjoying a nice hot shower, feeling the water and hot soap run down his small, lean, but quite fit body, his small abs having soapy water trail down their lines as he rinsed off.

Finally done, he shut the water off, stepped out, and grabbed the fluffy white hotel towel, wiping off his head and chest before wrapping it around his waist and leaving the bathroom, clouds of hot steam, from the heat of his shower, flowing out of the bathroom as he left it, eager to hit the kitchen for a quick snack as...he...dried...

...

off...

...

...There was a girl in his room.

Rai had stopped, completely still, blue eyes wide as the young Japanese teen saw his hotel room was, in fact, occupied, as a small, slender girl with long dark hair was ...*dancing*... in the middle of his room, with his back to him!

...WHAT THE HELL!?

Rai tried to speak, but only stammered, trying to wrap his head around what the hell was going on!

The latest Koto-Chan bop blasted into Shiori's eardrums as she wiggled herself through the hotel room. With a hop, skip, and a jump, she turned herself around, ready to belt out her favorite chorus, and...

...there was a guy. Shirtless -- no, naked underneath his towel. Standing there. In her hotel room.

Shiori threw her headphones onto the bed and screamed! "Who are you?! Why are you in my room?! I- I- I'm warning you, I know how to fight! G-Get out, or I'll... I'll..." She hopped around like a rabbit, half in an attempt to find her balance and half to establish a rhythm for the fight that might've been coming. But before she could properly square up or launch herself at this guy, her foot got caught on a suitcase!

"WHAAAAH!"

She tripped over the bag, starting a panicked ascent down! Shiori waved her arms in quick circles, hoping to catch herself, but to no avail! With a comical CRASH!, she fell to the ground.

"Ow..." Shiori rubbed her head and sat up. When the stars finally cleared from her vision, she got a good look at the baggage she'd tripped on. "This... isn't mine." Looking at the naked guy was too embarrassing, so Shiori kept her eyes locked on the bag, wide open with clothes and snacks strewn about. "I... Did the hotel mess something up?"

"Ahhhh! W-wait! I-its not what you think! Calm down!" Rai yelled, wide eyed and holding his arms up, palms out, waving them back and forth, starting to panic as the girl in front of him started hopping around in a panic of her own, but clearly looking like she was about to attack him!

...and then she tripped over his bag, and crashed to the ground, which, thankfully, seemed to calm her down for the moment!

Rai sighed as she asked if the hotel messed something up, before speaking again. "Y-yeah, that's my bag. I checked in just 20 minutes ago. There must've been some kind of mixup, I don't know if I'm in your room, or if your in mine!"

The young teen awkwardly rubbed the back of his blue-dyed hair, blushing at the sheer randomness of things, and took a couple steps closer towards the young girl that possibly broke into his room.

"Um...do you need a hand up?" He asked, still blushing as he stretched one out, aware that only a slim towel kept his modesty intact.
