Upon kicking Matilda straight in the jaw Gloria let out a small sigh of relief as she felt her leg being freed from Matilda's grip. Without wasting a second the superhero rolled away to gain some distance before pushing herself up to a standing position letting out a small wince from her leg. "And you as well but don't worry it's going to take far more than just one ankle lock to put this superhero down." Gloria fired back grinning from Matilda's compliment and decided to return the favor. "Now Matilda let's keep going, we don't want the audience here to be proud seeing two beautiful powerhouses stand around and do nothing right?" Gloria added with a light chuckle as she sent an open invitation to come at her with all she's got as Gloria stood her ground with her calf muscles flexing much to the wolf whistles of some audience members, but Gloria still kept her eyes focused on Matilda. "Minor setback but it's okay. I just can't get too cocky next time. After all even Alaina seemed to have some struggle against her so clearly this "rookie" has more than she's letting on." Gloria monologued to herself thinking back to when Matilda fought her aunt years ago. The masked blonde remembers watching that match live. Matilda claimed to be a "rookie" but you could've fooled anyone who watched it as she was giving Alaina her aunt utter hell until Alaina pulled a come from behind victory at the last second. "Alright enough dwelling on the past let's win this!" Gloria added thinking to herself as she gritted her teeth putting her hands out in front of her as Matilda began to circle around her.

"Any second now..." Gloria muttered as she kept her gaze on her opponent who circled her like a shark about to eat it's next victim but not today as right as Matilda came out her the superhero shifted her footing trying to weave her position to try and grab one of Matilda's arms. ""ORAAAAH!!!" The blonde let out a battle cry as she tried to send the barbarian to the ropes before extending out one of her arms to land a shift but powerful clothesline!

Matilda charged straight into the trap!

Gloria's clothesline crashed across her upper chest and neck, snapping the Barbarian Woman's head back violently. Her momentum was completely halted as she spun from the impact before crashing hard onto her back.

She rolled onto her side, one arm wrapped across her chest while taking a sharp breath, visibly stunned by the force of the clothesline.
