The winner of the match will advance to the face the loser of Nashi Dragneel vs Christina Perez. The loser of the match will be eliminated from the tournament.

"One of these...! And a couple of these...!" Sammi was shadowing boxing in the hallways backstage, near the gorilla position/entrance area ahead of her big match!

The perky pinkette threw some rapid punches and finished up with a kick that saw her spin around and come to a stop! A reporter covering LAW's Double or Nothing Tourney appraised her tepidly with a microphone in hand.

"Sammi...? Sammi Defoe...?" The unassuming woman tried to get her attention.

"Oh, hey!" Sammi wiped her brow and caught her breath.

The lightweight Lioness was not an imposing figure by any stretch of the imagination. Sammi's small stature, big pink hair, and animated, bubbly demeanor made her a hit with the fans whether she was on a hot streak or in a slump! But tonight, especially, Sammi was driven!

"Tonight, you have a match against a big up and comer in Ashley Morgan. A high stakes match at that. Can you share your thoughts with the fans coming into this match?"

"Yeah, of course!" Sammi took the liberty of adjusting the height of the lady's microphone to bring it closer to her face.

"I've never met Ashley before. But I've seen her matches and she is...quite something!" Sammi's eyes widened as she reflects on who she's up against.

"She's bigger than me. A lot bigger. She's probably as strong as, like, 5 Sammi's put together. She has a mean streak. I'm not gonna sell you the illusion that I'm gonna go out there and wipe the floor with you, Ashley. But I will tell you this...." Sammi stepped closer to the camera. Her expression grew more focused, more confident than we've seen from Defoe in the past.

"You're coming into the Double or Nothing Tournament,.wrestling in what I think is your first big event match at this company. I've wrestled in LAW's Queen of The Ring Tourney. I've wrestled in the winner's bracket and on the loser's bracket in this Double or Nothing Tourney. Tonight might be your first tournament match. Our match coming up in a minute or two is my fourth career tournament match. I'm coming off a brutal loss to Isa the Angel of Ice. I've lost to every LAW Heavyweight I've ever faced. But tonight, I'm gonna beat YOU. You wanna know why?"

"Because I've got big hair, I've got big dreams, and I've got an even bigger heart." Sammi flipped her hair with both hands and followed that gesture with another by making a heart sign over her chest. Her entrance music began to play and she walked towards the arena!

"I've already pulled off one huge upset win in this tournament! And you're about to be my next one!" Sammi hollered before dashing towards the top of the entrance ramp!

The quick promo and the sound of Sammi's music pumped up the crowd! Fans all over the arena cheered when she made her presence known! Sammi pumped her first and danced her way down the ring, shimmying her hips and blowing kisses to fans as she climbed up the steel steps and stepped through the ropes. Sammi would walk to her corner and take a step up on the top turnbuckle. She waved to the fans and looked at the ramp expectantly as she eagerly awaited her second round opponent, "The Red Menace" Ashley Morgan!

The Red Menace was almost done tying up her boots, she was alone in the locker room... That was usually the case. Ever since she arrived in LAW she had a reputation for being a loner... Someone who just didn't work well with others around her... And she was perfectly fine with that...

Less people around meant less reasons to be annoyed.

The walls were shaking, a testimony to the sheer size of the crowd present in the arena tonight. The place was packed for the Double or Nothing Tournament.

It was true that this was Ashley's first "high-profile" encounter, but truth be told, for the redhead, it didn't matter if it was a regular match, a PPV or a title match. Every time she stepped into the ring, there was only one thing in her mind: To utterly crush her opponent regardless of who it was-

And she was damn good at it!

Ashley kicked the locker room doors open, startling a few staff and media members standing outside. Ignoring everyone, she marched almost with military precision toward the entrance ramp. A couple of courageous reporters dared to approach, looking for some of her impressions before the match... Ashley replied without stopping, and without even looking at them...

"I don't care about who my opponent is... I just hope that you have enough memory on those cameras to record this beating, and enough medical personnel around to pick up whatever is left of her when I'm done!"

After this, she pushed the cameras away and quickly disappeared under the curtains.
Ashley's theme, Enemies by Eleine hit the arena speakers.

The red Menace walked down the ramp, her black leather boots slamming against the metal with each step. No smiles, no funny gestures for the crowd... Her eyes fixed on the girl already waiting for her inside the squared circle. By the time Ashley reached ringside, her hands grabbed a hold of the second rope and she jumped, shaking the entire structure as soon as her feet smashed onto the apron. She entered the ring under the top rope and in a mere moment, Ashley Morgan was standing tall in the middle of the arena, looking all around her before finally shooting a burning gaze toward her opponent for the night. Crossing stares with Sammi for a couple of seconds, briefly flashing a devilish smile before turning around and walking to her corner.

Ashley had an intimidating and commanding presence. Her tendency to act as a loner made her all the more difficult for the fans and her peers, both inside and outside the ring, to truly understand her. By the time she appeared on screen, her short blurb seemed to have already cooled off the hype and the energy Sammi had brought into the arena earlier.

"The Red Menace" cleaved her way through the media and the staff in the back and stepped past the curtain. Unlike the theatrics and the flare of Sammi's entrance, Ashley made a beeline for the ring! The heavyweight with the mean streak was all business!

When Ashley began to make her way up the steel steps, when she locked eyes with Sammi's own, a nervous expression came over the Young Lioness's face. She let out a small, barely audible yelp when the woman jumped up and stomped down onto the ring apron with both feet! Defoe would hope that the sound of the loud stomp and the crowd's reaction to it would mask her own frightened reaction!

When Ashley entered the ring, Sammi descended from her seat up on the top turnbuckle. The perky pinkette paused to let Ashley look all around the arena and take in the crowd reaction. Little Sammi took a deep breath. When Ashley glared daggers at her, Sammi worked up the courage to look her in the eye with a composed, focused expression.

Sammi would calmly step forward towards the woman who glared daggers at her. She tilted her head up to maintain eye contact. While it was true that Sammi had been in her fair share of tournament matches, no amount of training or maybe experience could make up for the disparity in size and strength in this match! As Sammi stood toe to toe with The Red Menace, that became clear as day. Ashley would need to tilt her head down just to maintain eye contact. The gap in weight class, the gap in height between the 6' woman and the 4'11" Young Lioness, even the difference in reputation where Ashley had been known to ruthlessly dismantle her opponents while Sammi was known to the underdog who could always get the crowd to rally behind her, all these things were painted clear as day in the middle of the ring when both ladies faced off with each other!

Just the sight of these two women side by side was enough to convey the possibility of a huge mismatch, yet Sammi did her best not to waver! She would stand there until the bell sounded! And when it did, Sammi would make the bold move of lifting up her hand....extending it to her opponent for a handshake!

Sammi would hold her hand here, and slowly, the fans would begin to cheer the gesture! Of all the ways she could have tried to start this third round DoN Tourney match off, no one could have foreseen a display of sportsmanship, perhaps not even Ashley! Sammi did her best to look calm and composed despite the massive mountain of a woman in front of her! If Ashley didn't reject the gesture outright, Sammi would explain herself!

"Ashley Morgan.... I am Sammi Defoe! Let's have an awesome match together!" Sammi spoke up with her gaze still trained on Ashley's own! A single bead of sweat rolled down her cheek to reflect the state of her nerves! The LAW analysts and commentators at ringside talked up how Sammi seemed to do her best to look cool, collected, perhaps even confident that she could find a way past her opponent tonight to advance into the next round! And the crowd even began to cheer for Sammi and for LAW while waiting to see if Ashley would return the gesture!
