L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

Raquel was dressed in her white and turquoise attire pacing backstage. She had dominated most of her first match against a middleweight and then blew it at the end. She was humiliated, embarrassed and frustrated. Her career was going nowhere and she needed a good showing in this tournament to help validate her wrestling ability to her bosses... and to herself. Tonight she had to turn it around otherwise she wasn't sure what her future was in LAW. She felt like she could wrestle with the best of them even if her record wasn't really in agreement with that. Raquel knew she had more doubters than true fans at this point, and it was time for her to show the world why Raquel Masters deserved to be in a LAW ring, and that she could stand tall against anyone in victory at the final bell.

Raquel's music played and she didn't come out bouncing, smiling, calling to the crowd, posing or swaying her hips. She was stone face serious. Raquel was tired of being the woman who lost a LAW Lightweight title match, the woman who got smashed in Apex against Eve Summers, and the woman who could never win when it counted. She wanted to be Raquel Masters winner of the Double Or Nothing Tournament. Raquel slid into the ring underneath the bottom rope and stood in her corner, her icy gaze looking up at the top of the ramp with an intense focus. Koromaru was going to be the unfortunate woman at the end of Raquels new laser focus.

There was no turning back now, whether in her choices or in this tournament. She had to improve, she had to fight seriously, like wrestlers as heavy and strong as her... She had to build up her confidence to dominate her opponents! But it was easier said than done; she had only won one match in her career, and that was by luck and thanks to her big butt... So Kuromaru decided to learn, watching matches of other wrestlers with similar physiques to hers to learn new moves... She didn't know if it would work because she'd never tried them, but it was already a good start!

She took the stage a few minutes after her opponent, accompanied by her theme song. She greeted the audience with joy, waving her hand in all directions before climbing into the ring, a little with difficulty because of her weight, and quickly getting back to her feet. Her theme was beginning to end as she noticed her opponent in her corner, approaching the middleweight and extending her hand for a friendly handshake.

"Name is Kuromaru, happy to meet and fight you!"

Raquel stood and watched, of course she was up against someone bigger than her but Koromaru was much bigger. Raquel shook her head. She was not only tired of her career stalling out but of bigger women having done very well against her in her career. Tonight she was putting all this to rest. Her inability to win big matches, her inability to do well against larger opponents... all of it.

Koromaru extended her hand and Raquel kept her gaze focused right on her opponent. She stepped up shaking Koromaru's hand but had little to say. "Raquel, and right back at ya." Raquel kept a serious look on her face after the handshake, stepping back a few steps and bouncing foot to foot as she waited for the bell.

DING DING DING

Raquel surged forward looking to bolt right at Koromaru, leaping and leading with her legs extended to try to start things off with a dropkick to the chest!

Even though Kuromaru was even taller and heavier than her opponent, she was still impressed by his build, who seemed to have a perfect body... She was going to suffer tonight, but she had learned not to back down in the face of danger... Theoretically, tonight was going to be the practice.

DING DING DING

The bell rang to announce the start of this match, and Kuromaru, far too slow to react, took the dropkick full force to the chest. The giant maid took a few steps back and struggled to stay standing, not wanting to fall at the start of this match... And she narrowly missed falling! The maid remained standing after swinging both arms forward; it was quite a feat... But she was unguarded against Raquel's next blow, once again!

Raquel stood back up and saw Kuromaru reeling. She shook her head wanting to knock this woman down to the mat. She started off incredibly well last time and blew it. Raquel couldn't let that happen again. She moved up close as Kuromaru was wobbly swinging her leg up as she spun around aiming a roundhouse kick to the side of Kuromaru's head! Raquel was trying to land a blow that would daze the much larger woman wanting to send her to the mat. She knew the psychological impact of the lightweight standing over her opponent would be huge.

Kuromaru remained standing in a few steps, trambling and struggling so as not to fall to the ground so quickly despite the first blow of her opponent ... and this is a success! After a few seconds to fidget, the giant Maid managed to stand up and to be honest, it impressed her as much as her fans who were used to seeing Kuromaru get dominated so quickly!

But Raquel did not give the maid time to recover or prepare, she sent a Roundhouse Kick hard on the face of her opponent and Kuromaru, not having seen the blow and therefore had time to defend herself, fell on the mast on her knees then lying on her stomach!

BOOM!

Raquel saw Kuromaru go down and she took a deep breath. Good, she got the huge lady down... but now what? Just picking her up and tossing her around wasn't an option. Raquel did have an idea though, she just hoped that Kuromaru would lay still long enough for this. Raquel ran to the ropes and jumped up onto the middle rope before springing back flipping over as she sailed through the air with a springboard moonsault! However, if Kuromaru rolled or got her knees up this high flying follow up would be a disaster instead of a success...

Kuromaru remained on the ground, sighing in pain before finally starting to move, resting her arms against the canvas and getting up, but she was slow, too slow! Raquel had plenty of time to prepare her next move and execute it, crushing the giant maid under her weight with a Springboard Moonsault!

"Hahh!.."

The maid moaned again in pain, but this time, she didn't remain passive as usual! If she didn't have time to get up, her arms would surely have time to wrap around her opponent's body and hold her against her, preventing Raquel from getting up!

Raquel was actually thinking of going for a pin curious to see how much her offense had managed to surprise or stun Kuromaru. As she was suddenly wrapped up the answer was clear: It hadn't done anywhere near as much as Raquel had hoped! The lightweight was wrapped up and thrashing kicking with her knees and legs as she struggled to get herself free from the grip of the big bad bruiser! Raquel was trying as hard as she could but right now it seemed to be all for nothing as she was wrapped up in her opponents arms.
