L.A.W. - League of Anime Wrestling

It had been a few weeks since Ambre had just realized her dream, that of being the heavyweight champion... But her story was not over, on the contrary, it had just begun! Now that she had become the champion, she had to show everyone that she was worthy by defending her title with her first match... Facing a somewhat special opponent, and circumstances.

No event or supercard, simply a special match with an equally special opponent! Yuki Inoe, a pretty wild woman who only wanted to fight against the strongest and to show that she was the strongest, the alpha!... It was a little weird to have to defend her title for the first time without a little promo or an event where her match would be the main event, but that's okay! Ambre still had to prove to people what she was capable of, even being the champion she still felt like a challenger... And that's why she went on stage first, even if she was the champion!
It was then accompanied by her theme and her title on her shoulder that the Black Pearl took the stage, walking towards the ring with a big smile. Despite her new status, the Frenchwoman remained the same and true to herself, remaining modest despite her last match. She climbed to the corner of the ring, standing on the top ropes and raised her title with one hand, showing it to everyone before jumping into the center of the ring, keeping her belt on her shoulder as she waited for her opponent to appear.

She didn't show it but the stress was starting to mount, Ambre didn't know what kind of opponent Yuki was, at least in terms of skill and fighting style! But she was ready to take on anyone and anything, partially transforming that stress into excitement.

Yuki was backstage doing breathing exercises, she felt as though her heart was beating at a thousand miles per minute and that everything down to her bones were tensed up. Why was she so nervous? She spent her whole career talking about being Alpha and sure she didn't win EVERY match. But this felt... Different. Unlike normal matches, being Champion was actual Alpha. And it was all within her reach. She just had to win against this one opponent. As usual, Yuki did none of her research on her opponent outside of the fact that her first name was Ambre but her lack of research did not effect Yuki in the slightest.To take her mind off the impending match, she decided to start running in place and performing other warmup routines like stretches until she was called to make her entrance.

Being announced by her name and her wrestling title, Yuki would step onto the entrance, revealing herself as she would look more serious than normal, not sporting the typical energetic smile she normally would when making an entrance. She meant business this time. A big reason she made this match was to test the new champions power and skill in relation to her own. So she didn't plan on holding anything back both physically and especially mentally.
Without much running start, she would show off her much faster than average speed and agility by running to the ring and diving between the bottom rope and the ring, not bothing to even step up onto the apron. After pulling herself up, she wouldn't bother appealing to the fans by waving at them. Instead, she kept her eyes magnetised on her opponent, glaring daggers into her and would start circling her much like a wolf would do their prey.
She would make note that Ambre was obviously much stronger than she was by the fact that their muscles were completely different sizes and that any head-on attacks were most likely going to end with Yuki on the floor and she would need to attack like an ambush predator, finding ways to wittle her opponent down until they couldn't fight anymore and catch them by surprise. Maybe a hit and run strategy.

It didn't take much waiting before Ambre's first challenge as champion came into play... And this person was exactly as she had heard, wild and fast! Yuki managed to impress with her speed and agility to arrive in the ring in no time before staring at the new champion while circling around her.

"Hmmm..."

Perhaps the after-effects were still present but the Frenchwoman felt like in her match against Alaina in the cage, being prey against the predator... But this evening, things were different. She was the champion and had to act like a predator, after all, this match was about proving who was the alpha. Then Ambre slightly raised the championship belt while looking Yuki straight in the eyes, giving the belt to the referee before slightly approaching Yuki to face her, showing her that she was not impressed... Although the silence was starting to be heavy...

The two woman stared at each other. Though they were the same height, Yuki felt a bit smaller than her opponent due to their different sizes in mass. But she would stay brave as they were a mere foot away from one another, neither of them willing to back up to their corner of the ring. Finally, Yuki will break the silence.

"I hope you're ready to see if you deserve to be Alpha."

She would tell her. The referee would try to split them apart but would fail so he would decide to call the bell to ring. The moment the bell rang, Yuki would start to run towards the ropes, knowing Ambre would most likely going to try to grab her.

She would bounce herself off the ropes and would attempt to try and throw out her arm for a fast clothesline!

The challenger broke the silence by slightly taunting the new champion, quickly getting into a defensive stance in the center of the ring as the referee was about to start the match. She took the opportunity to quickly sigh and respond to the challenger.

"I hope I can prove it to you then!"

The bell rang to signal the start of the match, and Ambre remained motionless in the center of the ring, her hands slightly raised to shoulder level while staring at Yuki... who preferred to use the ropes behind her to launch herself at the Frenchwoman at full speed rather than meet her in the center of the ring for a test of strength! The challenger was obviously quick, but Ambre wasn't about to be intimidated; this was her first title defense, and she had to be impressive!

So the Black Pearl ducked slightly, narrowly avoiding the clothesline, and ended up behind the challenger. She wrapped both arms around Yuki's hips and lifted her into the air for a German Suplex in the very first seconds of the match!

Yuki's eyes widened as Ambre managed to both dodge dodge and grab her from behind, making it clear to the wolf girl that the woman was faster than Yuki had initially believed. Though Yuki wasn't about to go down that easily.

As Yuki was raised into the air, the wolf girl would shockingly not only lean into it, but jumped into it. The speed would give her the momentum to back flip out of Ambre's arms and land on her feet as opposed to falling straight on her head. Unfortunately, she wasn't a gymnast though so although Yuki would land it, she would end up stumbling backwards into the ropes and grab onto them to keep herself from falling. Not landing the backflip perfectly meant she couldn't follow up on her attack before Ambre recovered. The move made the audience gasp out and the fact that neither of the two managed to land a full hit on the other set the mood of how the intensity of the match.

"You won't get me that easily!"

Despite the champion's counter and quick reflexes at the start of the match, Yuki was far too agile, and thanks to her dexterity, she managed to escape the champion's German suplex by stopping near the ropes with a backflip. Ambre turned around, slightly surprised, looking the challenger in the eyes and clenching her fist.

She knew that rushing against an opponent faster than herself would only be a waste of time and energy, but she charged at Yuki without hesitation, trying to gain the advantage early in the match and impose her pace with a lariat to the contender's chest!

Yuki watched as Ambre shockingly started to chase after her, a tactic that Yuki thought Ambre knew better than to do. But at the same time, it was near the perfect time to do so since Yuki had only two ways she could move in. Both of which she could probably find herself caught by the woman. So instead she would try to do something equally uncharacteristic of her. She would try to stand her ground.

As the woman charged at her, Yuki would lean back against the ropes more and raise her feet up into the air, attempting to slam them both into her opponent's chest. The unfortunate part was that she was aiming for Ambre's face but could not aim that high without accidentally falling outside the ring. Yuki felt like she was fighting a grizzly bear.

Ambre charged at Yuki with a clenched fist, and, as expected, Yuki quickly fought back, knocking the Frenchwoman back with a dropkick to the chest, holding firmly to the ropes behind her. The Black Pearl was inevitably pushed back and sighed softly in pain; her momentum had been abruptly halted at her chest... She could feel the pain there.

"Tskk !"

But even being pushed back to the center of the ring, the champion remained standing, gritting her teeth slightly as she stared down at Yuki in front of her... Now preferring to stay in the center of the ring and let the challenger attack.

In an incredible show of Athleticism, Yuki managed to just narrowly avoid what might have been a devestating suplex from her opponent. In her heart, she knew letting Ambre land a full hit on her could easily create a bad domino effect. Even after kicking Ambre with both of her feet, the best she could do was push the giantess back to the middle of the ring. But after, Yuki was surprised by Ambre's strategy as the woman would play ot smart and wait in the middle of the ring for Yuki to make the first move. Honestly, she was acting a lot like an Alpha

She scowled at how good her opponent was. Alpha was her title. She spent so many hours training for this. She can't just lose and miss this opportunity! Yuki leaned back against the ropes as much as she could until she would let them fling her towards Ambre with even more speed than before. This time, she would attempt to gut check the woman and drive her fist straight into the girl's stomach, hoping that the resulting pain of the punch would be enough for her to bend over so she could combo it into her next planned move.
