Standard Match for the LAW Middleweight Championship

Here she was, challenging for the title she used to hold once more. Tina couldn't let herself blow this shot, no way. She had been up and down since her title reign. She wanted to show that she was just as good as ever, that she didn't peak in the ring in her late teens and early 20s. Tina was ready for this, and Kyoko was going to get rocked if she thought Tina couldn't bring it. The tigress was ready to take it to the belly queen in the ring and she wouldn't fall short. She couldn't fall short. She knew if she blew this she would never have a sniff of middleweight gold again.

Tina's music hit the speakers and the tiger print clad wrestler came out jumping all around while pointing to the fans. The pumped up Tina came down the ramp high diving fans while looking to be her old self, her confident self, ready to mix it up with anyone all while coming out on top in between those ropes. Tina did a lap around the outside of the ring pumping her fist and high fiving fans before running into the ring sliding in underneath the bottom rope. She jumped up to her feet and hopped around leaning over the ropes and pointing to the fans again before she finally settled into her corner. Kyoko was going to regret letting Tina challenge for that title that formerly belonged to Tina, the first champion in LAW of any kind. She was going to be the first two-time LAW middleweight champion after tonight...

The current champion would soon go toe to toe with the first champion. This was something that came up that Kyoko just couldn't turn down, a chance to show everyone why she was above the previous title holders by beating the one who had become the standard for the championship in their minds. The Belly Queen always hated the fact that the two never got a chance to fight while she was champ, she believed if she had she'd have been the champ earlier and no one would qustion her greatness. Now she had to prove it and she was going to do it her way.

The Belly Queen's music hit, drawing everyone's attention to the ramp before she matched out, with her old rival Da Xia being the one alongside her. It was hard to tell if she was there for assistance or for Kyoko to show off one of her biggest victories, the Belly Queen didn't say anything while she started to march on down to the ring in a strut. Kyoko walked all the way down without saying a word before she would pull the belts off her waist and turn around to Da Xia. "Keep an eye out for trouble, I'll handle this." Kyoko asked the Chinese Bully before leaning in and giving her a slight hug. Then she'd place the Belly Belt in her arms before rolling into the ring with the Middleweight belt, the prize of the day. Raising it above her and in Tina's face to taunt her with the fact that she was champ before she'd give it to the ref.

Tina stood her face unchanging as Kyoko entered. Tina was focused on her and showed no reaction to Kyoko trying to rub in the fact that she had the title that Tina wanted back around her waist. She knew Kyoko's skill was matched only by her ego, so she expected something like that. She kept glaring at the woman and waiting for the bell in silence. Talk was cheap and Tina was going to let her wrestling speak for her tonight.

The bell would ring and Tina would close what little gap was between the two women looking to aim a flurry of forearm smashes at the face of Kyoko trying to surprise her right at the opening bell to try to overwhelm Kyoko or otherwise surprise her. Tina wasn't holding back and knew that Kyoko in her opinion was the best middleweight champion since... well... herself!

The match had no time for personal taunts or insults, either one wanted to say anything and it was rare for Kyoko to be this quiet before a match unless she was mad with fury. In this case all she wanted to do was win and the moment the bell rang she tried to do that with both her and Tina trying to rush in and hit the other with forearm strikes.

"Ngggh." Kyoko groaned, taking a hit to give one right back with the two throwing strikes at each other to start off the match, Kyoko would throw 4 in a row if she wasn't stopped before trying to grab Tina and Irish whip her into the ropes, standing ready to meet her and try to knock her down with a shoulder tackle.

Tina was swinging but so was Kyoko and Tina was soon getting rocked, falling behind! She wobbled and swayed a bit, feeling her arm grabbed by Kyoko. As she was thrown Tina planted a foot and tried to counter, sending Kyoko running instead! Tina was hoping that it was Kyoko who would hit the turnbuckle hard instead! Tina would run in and attempt a dropkick but if she missed she knew she would be in quite a compromised position! If she landed it though Kyoko would find out that Tina was able to combine speed and power in a way few others could...

Kyoko's striking overpowered Tina's, the champ was pleased to see her take control and start to drive the other girl back knowing she was going to prove that she had the first champion on the ropes first, she started to toss her into the ropes as a follow up. But when she did so she managed to plant her feet down and grab Kyoko's arm to stop herself being thrown and would instead pull back on her arm to whip her instead. Kyoko ended up running into the ropes and bouncing back where Tina was waiting on her with a big dropkick to the face.

"Aaggh!" Kyoko screamed head shooting back while her body was launched off the floor, landing on her back with a loud smack. She would bring a hand to her face and arch her back trying to get herself back into the match, stunned a little too early for her liking.

That dropkick sent a nice message to the champion and as Tina got back to her feet she sent a hard kick across Kyoko's abdomen before grabbing her by the arm whipping her across the ring to the other turnbuckle! Tina immediately gave chase looking to capitalize on her small bit of momentum by adding to it. As Tina ran as quickly as she could she leapt, leading with her knee as she hoped to smash Kyoko's jaw with a running knee strike as soon as her back crashed against the turnbuckle!

Kyoko wasn't given much time to recover from the reversal, she was still on her back when Tina got up and quickly threw a kick at her. "Ouugh." She gasped, turning to the side she didn't kick to try and protect it better before she was pulled off the mat again to be whipped to corner for another attack. She was able to turn around and hit the corner with her back only to find that was what Tina wanted when she came in right after to hit a running knee.

"Aggh!" Kyoko screamed, head pushed against the turnbuckle while her face was on fire with pain, especially around her jaw. Her hand would come up to protect her face while she slowly attempted to recover from the hit and look for an opening to counter.

Tina had managed to land some solid offense and wanted to keep it going! She grabbed hold of Kyoko and wrapped an arm around her head while grabbing her waist. Tina lift her up for a vertical suplex but instead of falling backward she would step forward and try to send Kyoko's torso crashing down on top of the turnbuckle almost in an impaling motion knowing that she had to hammer this woman to come out on top in the title match!
