Svetlana was hoping to keep wrenching down on Kate when the counter came. Svetlana stumbled and wobbled letting go of herself as she hobbled back! She knew she had let Kate go and had to reset. She got ready as Kate got up, not wanting to give Kate the initiative. Svetlana came in and grabbed Kate hoping to surprise her with something straightforward as she attempted to grab Kate between the legs and around the shoulder hoping to scoop her up before slamming her down to the mat! It was a gamble that Svetlana hoped would pay off otherwise she knew she was potentially in a lot of trouble...

Coming straight out of a submission hold applied to her leg, Kate was not particularly fast in getting up and it seemed that Svetlana did not intend to extend the same sort of courtesy as Kate did with the prior rope break as she would grab Kate as soon as she was up. Sensing what was coming, Kate tried to shift her weight to make it harder to lift her but was just a moment too late, Being lifted up off the ground and swiftly slammed down to the ground, leaving another opportunity for Svetlana should she be fast enough to take it.

Svetlana sent Kate down and saw that the ropes were fairly far away. Far enough in Svetlana's mind for her to try out her finisher! Svetlana rolled Kate onto her stomach, further from the ropes as she used her legs to wrap up an arm before leaning in front to wrap her arms around Kate's chin as well as her other arm as Svetlana was trying to lock in her crippler crossface finishing hold the Natural 20! She was hoping that this would show Kate and the others that she was a wrestler to take seriously and not some wannabe!

Kate was in a bad spot and she knew it, It was certainly not going the way she'd wished and before she'd get the chance to turn it around it would only get worse. As she was turned over, she hardly had any time to react before Svetlana had her expertly trapped in her finisher, sending a shock of pain down her arm and spine! "Ghhhhya!" Kate would cry out in pain and hit the mat with her fist but she refused to tap out, trying to think of a way out of the hold. With the ropes being as far as they were they presented a faint hope but all the same, Kate would push with her legs to slowly get closer to them whilst trying to think of a better way out!

Svetlana felt Kate pushing to the ropes so she reached back with her feet to dig in trying to prevent the drag! They weren't close to the ropes, but closer than Svetlana would have liked. She pulled back as hard as she could, confident that her finisher would work and make this over-confident woman submit to the still relatively unknown Svetlana!

Kate could definitely tell why Svetlana picked this move as her finisher, it was excruciatingly painful but Kate had too much riding on this match to even entertain the thought of submitting, even if every inch felt like getting dragged over a mile of sandpaper. With Svetlana starting to resist Kate's movement it would only get harder, making Kate's efforts stall as she cried in pain once more but refused to give in, she was training for this her entire life and she would not go that easily! Pushing up with her one free hand, she would get her legs under her torso to get more force and push in one explosive motion to close the gap and grip tight onto the ropes!

Once she was let go, she would roll to the side to evade immediate capture and get up, using the corner for support. "It's gonna take more than that to take me down." She said, whipping her mouth and readying herself to get back in the fight!

Svetlana felt Kate reach the ropes and she screamed out in frustration! She let go right away, completely angry at herself for letting this happen. "Oh shut up, you come out and call out the roster thinking you are just going to steamroll anyone, looking at us like jobbers. I am no jobber and I won't let you win!" Svetlana shouted to Kate and once Kate was back up to her feet Svetlana was going to run in and extend her arm to try to clothesline Kate over the top rope!

Hearing Svetlana's answer Kate snorted, rolling her neck and shoulder which still hurt like hell after the hold. "That's rich..." She said before darting towards Svetlana as she saw her approach, ducking under her clothesline and sending a back kick at her to push her into the corner as she'd step into the middle of the ring and turn to her opponent.

"How long have you even been training for this? Cause for me, it's not some second chance at life, I have been training to fight ever since I learned how to walk! So tell me, which one of us is really cockier? Me, for challenging whoever has enough guts, or you, for thinking you can match nigh on twenty years of training?" She said tilting her head "You don't have to like me but I'm at least honest while you try and play a hero where you just want to make a name for yourself here. I might lose today, but at least I know why I'm fighting, so come on, try and prove me wrong" Kate finished, spreading her arms out as if to invite Svetlana, she was growing frustrated with the girl's self-righteousness, at this point it went as far as ascribing Kate as looking down on the entire roster, as if the idea that Kate might be prepared to lose or knew who was in the building to challenge her did not accrue to her. Regardless of what Svetlana thought though, Kate was determined to prove her point, waiting for the other woman to make the first move!
