Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
The crowd was yelling in excitement now as the fight went back into the ring, and the sound was more than a little encouraging to Kyo's ears. After the way Valley had been running riot all over him in this match, it felt good to get some offence in again. Valley was tough, resilient, phenomenally strong...but this was a start.
Seeing Valley rolling away from him, clutching her hurting midsection, Kyo moved to follow after her, not wanting to give her the time to recover. Grabbing her by the arm, Kyo tried to quickly yank her to her feet. Unless interrupted, he would transiton this yank into a whip, right into the corner post, hoping to hammer her already sore back with another collison.
Followed, ideally, by him running right after her, body lowered to drive a shoulder into her firm abdomen.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Valerie cursed under her breath as she cradled her midsection, knowing well that she might as well have painted a target on it. An unobservant, overeager opponent would’ve ignored her midsection and forgotten to focus on it - Kyo was anything but that.
He was on her without delay as if to prove her point. He grabbed her by the arm, forced her up, and sent her running before she could find her footing, leaving her to crash into the steel post, with only a couple of seconds to register the pain before he shot his shoulder into her stomach and added to it.
A bad position to be in, no doubt, but she didn’t have the oxygen to fight back at the moment. All she could do was drive her elbow into his back, hoping it would hurt enough to make him back off.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Kyo felt Valley's firm midsection impact around his shoulder, then fold in around it as Valerie doubled over against him. So far so good, he thought. Not that he had the energy to do anything fancier than be a human missile against Valerie's stomach, but it was the best he could do under the circumstances; now that he was in control, he had least had time now to get his bearings straight and recover a little.
That was what he thought at least, until Valerie's elbow came pistoning down into his spine, right where he had collided with the turnbuckle earlier in the match. White hot pain flooded his back, and he immediately sank to his knees, breathing hard against the side of Valerie's white latex-clad abdomen. Trying to fight back the pain as best he could, he balled a fist and shot it up to drill into Valerie's side, but his comeback was now rapidly losing momentum...

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
It hadn't been that long since their first match, but already, Valerie was seeing some differences in Kyo’s approach, no doubt learning from previous encounters. He seemed more driven, more ready to take the fight straight to her without delay. She thought it would be easy to take the run of things after her strong start, but he was recovering faster than she’d expected, showing better stamina. Or better control of his stamina.
Whatever the case, it was a force to reckon with, and she was glad when her elbow got him to back off for a moment. She wanted to take a moment to recover in the corner, but his retaliatory shot in her side reminded her that wasn’t an option. She winced, pushed through, and soldiered on.
Without leaving the corner, she gave Kyo a rough shove, creating some space between them. With that done, she grabbed the ropes, lifted herself up, and shot both of her legs out at his chest, trying to knock him away with all the force her lower body could muster.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Valley definitely felt different from their previous two matches. In their first bout, Valerie had utterly rocked him, but there was still a sense that she had been holding back-- that there had been almost a playfulness to her fighting. That was gone now: this felt like almost a different Valley Doll, one who was out for blood, one who was looking to wreck Kyo as quickly and efficiently as possible.
That was what was going through Kyo's head, at least, before he was shoved backwards, hobbling due to the throbbing pain in his back. The moment he righted himself, both of Valerie's boots caught him bard in the chest. "OOOOOF!" he gasped, the blow flooring him and leaving him gasping.
Damn it, Valley was just using him as a punching bag at this point. He needed to get back into the fight, and fast...

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Valerie flopped back after those kicks, nearly dropping to her butt after she’d connected. That one had taken more out of her than she’d expected, left her feeling winded even though she was the one executing the attack and not taking it. This match was exacting a more considerable toll than she’d anticipated it would at this point. She needed to change things up again.
And she was in the corner, so…
High-flying moves weren’t really her thing, but this was a day for bringing out every trick she had. With Kyo prone on the mat before her, she leaped up on the bottom rope, bounced off to gain some height, and came down on him from on high with her leg raised, trying to hit him with a knee drop to the chest.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Kyo gasped, gagging slightly after taking that big boot to the chest. Valerie was not nearly the kick artist that her mom had been in her prime, and seemed far more content to throw her opponents around like the Hulk throwing debris than to engage in finesse strikes. But that last kick? It had hurt, hurt enough to leave him gasping and wheezing on his back.
And it was about to get worse.
He saw Valerie climbing the top rope. He tried to will himself to roll out of the way. His hurting body was sluggish and slow to respond. He was still in mid roll when Valerie came down on him, knee slamming meteorically into his chest.
"AGH!" he gagged, his whole body jolting from the impact of Valerie's knee. He was breathing a lot more heavily now as he lay on the mat, pinned under Valerie's knee in an undoubtedly dominant pose from his female opponent...

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
Valerie was known for a lot of things, but being graceful? Never that. She could pull out the occasional elbow drop when need be, and she could manage a decent Shooting Star Press on her best days, but it was a well she was always hesitant to draw from if she could avoid it. She wanted to have a decent, long career in wrestling, and that meant not throwing herself from high altitudes on a regular basis. Not if she couldn’t avoid it.
This was a case of it being unavoidable. Kyo was down and vulnerable, and the opportunity was too good to ignore. She took aim, flew through the air, and BOOM - came down right on his chest, hammering him into the canvas.
Like this, she had a bevy of options available to her, but she figured it might be best to slow things down a notch - rushing into this had worked well to start out, but it was having diminishing returns. A submission move? Not the worst idea. She needed to invest in his body, start writing checks that she could cash in later.
Best to kick off with something simple, too. She reached over, grabbed his arm, then fell to his side on her back, pulling his limb through her legs as she went. One leg went over his face, the other came over his chest, and there she had it - a picture-perfect arm bar.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
It had felt like a cannon into the chest. A sack of bricks falling on him. Someone taking a baseball bat to his ribs. Kyo could think of a dozen things that inadequately described how that elbow drop to the chest had felt, or how much it had hurt. Perhaps that didnt matter as much: what mattered now was that he was left rolling on the mat, clutching his chest, breathing hoarsely, vulnerable to whatever diabolic thing Valley had in store next.
He braced himself for a stomp, or to be hauled up and tossed like a ragdoll. Instead she stood up, grabbed his arm, and slid it between those two super dense thighs of hers.
And then Kyo'a arm was being wrenched back in an armband. White hot pain lanced up his arm towards his shoulder; he was writhing in the mat now, slapping at Valerie's boot, trying to arch up off the mat to mitigate the pain. His face was now twisted in a rictus of pain that even his iron willpower couldn't mask.
He tried to twist free. He failed. He tried to break into a roll towards the ropes. Valerie had him stuck in place. He tried to roll over towards her, to roll her up into a pinfall. Valerie's sheer grip on his arm made that futile.
Sweat was running down his brow. And more of this hold, and Valerie could severely injure his arm. He forced himself to ignore the voice of stubborn pride in his head, urging him to fight on and free himself. He had to think of the rest of the match. He couldn't win it if he was down one arm.
He tapped at Valerie's boot, signaling a submission.

Re: Valley Doll III vs Kyo Akamatsu — Iron Person Match
The crowd was evenly divided, as they had been since this match had started. When Valerie locked in the arm bar, some of them called for him to give up and give in, not wanting to see their hero take another fall. Some encouraged him to escape, figuring his Samurai Spirit would be enough for him to survive and make it to the ropes.
Valerie was somewhat in the middle. While she was angling for another point, she didn’t want to get it at the cost of seriously breaking his arm. The move was more of a threat, one that she hoped not to follow up on…but would, if need be. She upped the pressure, more and more and-
There. A tap.
The second she felt his touch was the same second she let go, releasing him and rolled away to give Kyo space. She popped back up to her feet and pumped her fist, allowing herself to revel in the moment, as the crowd gave her a mixed reaction: 2 to 0. After a quick glance up at the clock…
6:45
She moved back to the center of the ring and focused back on Kyo, as she took a more relaxed easier stance. Valerie forced her breathing to slow and took her body down a notch. She’d been running on all cylinders since the start of this, but with a commanding leader, her confidence was surging and there was less need to push herself hard. The onus was on Kyo to bring the fight to her.
