Shot at Redemption: Sakura Hagiwara vs Sarabeth Chummers-Ashworth — Standard Match

[Bare]

Sakura was in utter agony right now, her legs felt like they were at their limit and the ropes were still a few feet away.. It was making her tempted to tap in fact she may... she just may have too as her hand started shaking and hovering over the mat... Only for it to come down and stay down as with a final, monumental push against the mat Sakura would drag herself forward, trying to close the last bit of distance necessary to reach out and grab the bottom rope!

[Pegasus]

Sakura crawled and crawled barely managing to secure her grip on the bottom rope as Sarabeth had to be notified. Sarabeth pulled on the legs not caring as she wrenched hard and hard as the referee argued with her counting as the crowd was getting a little concerned about Sarabeth’s anger being boiled over. At the count of 4, Sarabeth finally let go and the referee gave her a grave verbal warning stating it was a disqualification the next time she didn’t let go immediately. Sarabeth almost lost on purpose and she would have every justification, in her mind, to batter Sakura silly for being a horrible pay-per-view opponent. This was her debut and she felt like she was getting nowhere. It was almost as if Sakura just wanted to mock her by being a fodder opponent.

Sarabeth then went back to Sakura grabbing her by the hair hard and almost yanked her up which got her another warning from the referee. “No pulling or yanking, Sarabeth!” barked the referee as Sarabeth flipped her off which immediately got her another verbal warning. The crowd was a little put off by the stepdaughter of Astrid as Sarabeth ran the ropes leaving a wobbling Sakura in the middle of the ring! Sarabeth bounced off going for her patent Cuckoo Knee (Running Knee Strike)!

[Bare]

Desperately holding onto the rope for some form of relief it wouldn't come easily as Sarabeth held the submission on for as long as possible, only letting go because of the thread of disqualification hanging over her. Gasping in relief Sakura wouldn't even have the chance to pull her leg in to check the damage done to it before Sarabeth was right back on her, grabbing her by the hair and forcing her up to her feet!

"Agh! Let go!" Sakura yelled out, but as the saying went careful what you wish for. Because Sara did let go and while Sakura was able to stay on her feet for a bit it wouldn't be for long before Sara came right back at her with a running knee! "NGH!" She cried out, getting blasted off her feet and down to the mat, seemingly out like a light!

[Pegasus]

Sarabeth connected the shot and took the former idol down as Sakura flopped on her back. Sarabeth sat there for a moment as she let her anger fuel her and just got even angrier at the thought this would just be the end if she went straight for the pin. Sakura took pity on her since she knew Sarabeth was going to be determined to get a decisive victory and it drove Sarabeth wild that the idol wouldn’t even let Sarabeth just have the glory of beating a worthy opponent. She respected Sakura last time, but not this time. It was a damn form of mockery to be this dull and easy! She needed to show Sakura she meant business!

Sarabeth huffed going to get to her feet and grab Sakura’s right arm hooking it back and grabbing the head laying down on her back to lock in an Anaconda Vice! She wasn’t going to take the easy way out. Sakura was going to submit to her!

[Bare]

Sakura was near totally out of it following that brutal knee strike from her opponent. Left stunned on the mat and looking up at the lights with a half lidded gaze, unable to do anything. Not that her opponent was happy with it. Before she could even think the lioness was down upon the former idol, wrapping her up into a vicious anaconda vice! "Nghhhh! Mmmph!" Sakura yelled, muffled by Sara's chest, her legs kicking about helplessly but she was out of energy, having taken way too much damage too fast and it left her with one option and that was for her to start tapping out on the mat signalling her giving up!

[Pegasus]

The moment Sakura tapped out, the bell rang and the referee called for the break to which Sarabeth released the former idol. The referee tried raising Sarabeth’s arm as she finally clinched that first victory in her LAW career, but Sarabeth shoved the referee away as the crowd gasped. Sarabeth was so pissed! That was a horrible match and not even worth celebrating! Sarabeth rubbed her temples wanting something to be proud of and that was absolutely pitiful. As the referee went to check on Sakura, Sarabeth came over to stomp on the former idol making the crowd scream in shock! The referee pushed Sarabeth off screaming: “The match is over! She can’t fight back! You need to calm down or I’m getting security!”

[Bare]

Sakura was in utter agony, teetering on the edge of unconsciousness after the relentless assault from her opponent and even after tapping it wasn't enough for her opponent evidently... Just as she was about to be helped up Sarabeth would come over and start stomping on her! "Agh!" Sakura cried out, recoiling and curling up in the fetal position as she took the barrage of stomps, not able to do much else until the ref pulled Sarabeth off of her, officials coming out to help Sakura out of the ring and to the back for medical attention, with some hanging back to make sure Sarabeth didn't try and get back to the defeated idol.

[Pegasus]

This was bullshit! UTTER BULLSHIT that Sarabeth was given this for her PPV debut and that Sakura barely fucking tried. Sarabeth gritted her teeth and she could admit that her anger was getting the better of her, but it was justified anger in her eyes. The medical officers came out and the referee once again said “I will call security to escort you out of the arena! Don’t even think about!” The referee was trying to keep things from getting out of hand and Sarabeth was getting even more frustrated teetering between trying to calm herself down or just flying out in pure rage. She couldn’t take it anymore! Sarabeth punched down the referee and punched at all the medical officers just to get back at the idol punching her head completely losing control of herself! The other referees in the back had to come out and try to pry her off, but Sarabeth just locked Sakura in a loosened sleeperhold trying to make her pass out!

“I want a fucking rematch! I want a rematch! Say I get it! Say I get it!” Sarabeth demanded with her teeth gnashing violently.

[Bare]

Sakura was on the brink of consciousness as is, being aided to the back by the crew workers and referees while even more stayed in the ring to try and keep Sarabeth at bay. A job they evidently were not very good at. "Ngh!" Punched in the head by Sarabeth the idol would be locked into a make shift sleeper hold, making Sakura gurgle and groan slightly as she pried at the girl's arm, but couldn't do anything else as more refs came down along with the actual LAW security team, pulling Sarabeth with all their might, trying to get the girl off of Sakura and separate them once and for all!

[Pegasus]

Security pried Sarabeth off Sakura as the Young Lioness was held against a corner as a stretcher was pushed out for the former idol. Even during her rookie days, Sakura wasn’t attacked like this or dominated like this. She always had fight against her main rivals even if they ended up slamming her down or stretching her body into submission. Sakura had the underdog spirit until she got better training and started putting more effort into her matches. This was a slaughter fest and the crowd was completely stunned by both women. Sakura was just a jobber in this match pretending she had no idea how to wrestle or fight back whereas Sarabeth went in more aggressive than ever before similarly to how her stepmother usually brought it. Would Astrid disapprove of Sarabeth’s actions and try to talk some sense into her? This match was over and Sarabeth wasn’t done with Sakura by a long shot. She wanted that glorious hard fought victory.
