Sanae Saitou vs Kennedy Lee — Standard Match

[Pegasus]

Kennedy rolled outside the ring as she rested against the announce table smiling with glee seeing her paparazzi spam their camera flashes to make the idol blinder than a vampire bat. Sanae fell over with her eyes covered with colorful spots that hindered her vision. She was disoriented and her fanbase booed Kennedy out of the building! Kennedy went behind the announce desk pushing over one of the commentators to grab their headset and put it on.

“Give me Freya and Elm! RIGHT NOW!” Kennedy barked at the backstage worker listening to the feed.

Like clockwork, Freya and Elm Ederne were running down the ramp as Kennedy’s henchwomen were most likely here to ruin Sanae’s day. This faction that has amassed due to a mutual understanding is prepared to do Kennedy’s bidding as Kennedy threw away the headset and went over to the ring climbing the apron. Freya gets in immediately grabbing Sanae to punch her in the head getting even more boos. Elm looks conflicted as always, but lays a few kicks to the little idol’s chest! The Glamorous Coalition are here to make things even easier for Kennedy!

The bright lights had left Sanae completely dazed. She couldn't see a thing, and her head was throbbing as she rubbed desperately at her eyes and her face to try and clear the aches. All she knew was that Kennedy almost certainly had something up her sleeve if she needed her opponent incapacitated - and whatever that was, it couldn't be good! Sanae's teeth were clenched in a snarl as she tried to shake it off before things got worse. Groping around blindly, she was able to grab onto the bottom rope and use it to pull herself back up, where she leaned against the ropes to try and keep herself from losing her balance again. However, even if Sanae couldn't see a thing, she could still hear. And when she heard what Kennedy said next, it was something that made her blood run cold as she froze in place. Kennedy wasn't alone! And things were about to get worse!

The next thing Sanae knew, Elm and Freya had gotten into the ring - and they were lashing out with punches left and right, knocking her off her feet and sending her flopping to the mat below as she let out a scream! Twisting and turning from side to side and blindly kicking her legs, Sanae flailed in a desperate attempt to create whatever space she needed to escape. She could hear the fans laying into Kennedy with thunderous boos, and she could feel the pain surge through her body every time another strike connected, knocking her back against the mat. But until her vision returned to her, there wasn't much she could do. Even as she began to discern faint shapes through the haze, it wasn't doing her much good when she was being bludgeoned this way and that!

Sanae couldn't take this any more. She needed to get out of there, and fast! Kicking off the mat, she would attempt to roll herself under the bottom rope and out of the ring before her assailants could land another blow. She knew it would surely be dangerous outside - Kennedy, after all, wouldn't think twice about bending the rules to her advantage. But she couldn't keep this up any longer!

[Pegasus]

Freya and Elm got booed out of the building as Sanae rolled herself to safety outside. This wasn’t looking good as the odds were stacked even higher for Sanae to overcome. She was in a match of Kennedy’s own making and when Kennedy wasn’t getting her way, she had her cronies come out to cheat her way to victory! Even if it is cheating, no one can call foul against Kennedy. Her protections of being a Cyber Legacy member and being a part-time celebrity give her credence to make the rules of her matches. She can’t get counted out or disqualified and it was just another reminder of how things were. The referee had to hold her judgement and start counting out Sanae as Kennedy stalked Sanae coming closer with a wide grin.

“1! 2!”

As she rolled over onto her stomach on the floor outside, Sanae planted a knee and an elbow against the ground, propping herself up. She gasped for breath - her face was red, and she dripped with sweat. That was too close. She was still sore all over from the beatdown she had received at Elm and Freya's hands - just thinking about it made her shudder - and she knew she couldn't afford to take that much more damage, lest she risk compromising her chances of winning this match - if not suffering something even worse. But that was going to be easier said than done, if Sanae had to deal with not just one, but three fearsome heavyweights in this match!

Even still, Sanae reminded herself, it wasn't over yet - she couldn't lose hope. She clenched her teeth, squeezing her hand tightly enough to dig her fingernails into the palms of her hand. Kennedy wanted to break her spirits - she had set this match up entirely to bring Sanae low, and to score an easy win against her. She was resorting to every dirty trick in the book to do so. If that was the case, then Sanae couldn't let her get away with it. She needed to stand up for herself - she needed to prove that no matter how much Kennedy tried to rig this against her, she wouldn't lose. If she could rise above the challenge and pull forth a victory despite it all, it would only serve to prove that, no matter what Kennedy thought, she was here to stay!

"Three! Four! Five!"

Still panting, Sanae rolled over from one side to the other, locking her eyes on Kennedy as she watched her from the ring. Her eyes narrowed into a glare, and her body stiffened. Sanae couldn't let this be the end. She needed to defy everything Kennedy wanted for her - and she would do just that, when, in a final burst of strength born of adversity, she shoved herself to her feet!

With the cheers of the fans echoing behind her, Sanae grabbed for the apron, pulling herself up and onto it. Then she did the same with the ropes. She pulled down on the top rope, stretching it taut and preparing to harness its momentum - then, she sprung herself upward, going to kick out her knee to aim it at Kennedy's jaw as she came up!

Kennedy thought she had everything in the palm of her hands. The rules, the match type, the numbers, everything ran according to her and it was just general rigging. At least that would be the term everyone else uses, Kennedy calls it glamorizing her chances of victory and making sure it’s a big show for the fans. Kennedy did hammer out the details and create the contract herself so she figured it was all in the bag. Sanae got the drop on her once or twice so far, but it didn’t matter if she had her friends run interference for her. Sanae quickly got on the apron as Kennedy got back in the ring stalking Sanae. However, Sanae was quick to the draw hopping on the top rope and getting a Springboard Knee Strike to Kennedy’s head that she couldn’t duck under as Kennedy stumbled into the ropes holding her head with her better arm!

Not only that, but Sanae was like a cannon ball fired from a priate cannon and she wasn’t stopping just at Kennedy. The momentum let her collide with Elm and Freya as her body weight shoved against the giants pushing them back into the ropes. The odds didn’t matter it seemed! Sanae was here to fight!

It didn't matter if Sanae was far outmatched - outmuscled by Kennedy in terms of her sheer size, and with the entire match booked to be as disastrous to her as possible. It didn't matter if her whole body was aching now, marked all over with bruises from where Elm and Freya had laid into her, or that her muscles twitched and trembled with fatigue. When she looked back at Kennedy - standing over her, taunting her - Sanae knew she couldn't back down. She couldn't let them tell her story! She had to fight - to prove she still had it in her!

Hopping up from the ropes, Sanae slammed her knee upward into Kennedy's jaw, and with a crack, the blonde's head was turned upward as she stumbled away. Sanae leaned back against the ropes to try and catch her breath as she watched it unfold - but there, she saw something else. Kennedy had stumbled into her two companions, knocking both of them back against her weight, and sending all of them into the sagging ropes! A grin lit up across Sanae's face, and she stood up straighter, suddenly gripped by a newfound energy. Now, she knew just what to do. If she timed things right, and struck with her full force, then she could deal a blow to all three of them!

Bellowing out a battle cry, Sanae took off across the ring in a charge. As she came close to her opponents, she sprung up from the mat and swept her legs outward, attempting to drive a dropkick into Kennedy's chest - hopefully also knocking her backward into her companions!

[Pegasus]

Kennedy still couldn’t believe this twerp was actually gaining ground on her and the crowd was firmly behind Sanae whether she acknowledged them or not. No special rules were standing in her way of getting the first victory over Kennedy with her new gimmick or even hired help will not take down Sanae’s spirit. She was hurting, but that only told her to fight back harder! Sanae would try running for a Dropkick into Kennedy’s chest as Kennedy’s boobs absorbed the impact bouncing her into Freya’s arms! Elm had ducked behind to tackle Sanae straight to the mat!

When Sanae's feet planted solidly into Kennedy's chest, sure enough, the blonde fell like a domino - and went toppling backward into Freya! The crowd let out a cheer at such a daring move, and Sanae looked back up at her handiwork with a smile on her face as she fell to a three-point stance, just narrowly catching herself on one hand while her legs spread apart. However, it didn't prove quite as devastating as she'd hoped for - Elm was still on her feet, and still ready to enact vengeance. Sanae didn't realize that she had gotten out of the way until it was too late - moments later, she came flying at her at full speed, tackling her to the canvas under her weight! Sanae fell backward flattened to the mat, and the force bearing down on her was too great for her to get it to budge!

"Gyaaah..!!" Sanae cried out as she fell, but her cries were soon drowned out as the air was forced from her lungs under Elm's weight. Gritting her teeth, she balled a fist and tried to throw it at her assailant's side. This meant trouble - if she was pinned down under a larger foe like Elm, that would only leave her at her opponents' mercy. She needed to get her off of her before things got worse!

[Pegasus]

Elm grinned and the crowd would boo her as she started going straight into hard punches in the little idol’s head. Freya helped Kennedy stabilize herself as Kennedy cheered her cohort on patting her back as Kennedy added stomps to Sanae’s face in addition to the punches Elm laid down on their adversary. Kennedy taunted to the crowd as they booed the Glamorous Coalition and Kennedy just laughed at them tugging at the top rope as Elm got off the idol. Sanae’s fanbase tried to rally behind her as Kennedy just put her hands up in mocking mouthing gestures and the loud boos started to come down as they starting spreading over into “YOU SUCK!” chants and Kennedy soaked up the negativity.

Theme Song

The crowd went ballistic with mega cheers as Kennedy and her cohorts stood around Sanae in shock! Before anyone could really get a good look, a figure covered in a black hoodie and orange sweatpants raced out and down the ramp! The crowd cheered loudly just presuming it was Alizeh as the hooded figure rolled in hitting a Spin Kick to Freya knocking her back along with a Jumping Headbutt to Elm knocking the other giant back! Kennedy grabbed the figure by the throat and tried going for the Gossip Column, but the hooded figure ducks under the strike running the ropes before hitting a Shotgun Dropkick to Kennedy sending the Glamorous One straight to the outside under the bottom rope!

The crowd hyped “Alizeh” up as the hooded fighter clapped and soaked in the cheers letting her appearance become a bit more revealing. Same green hair protruding from under the hood. Same tanned skin on the arms. The crowd was convinced Alizeh came to her partner’s rescue and she does have prior bad history with Kennedy so this must be her getting even, right? Right?

[CaptainL]

It was only narrowly that Sanae had been able to slip out from under Elm, and not without taking far more offense than she would've liked. As she rolled over to the side, she groaned under her breath and rubbed her forehead; the world around her seemed to be spinning, and her ears were ringing. A few sweaty strands of hair had fallen across her face; she had to stop and brush them away as she began to sit back up. It was one against three now, and nothing was being done to stop such a one-sided beatdown. She couldn't give up now - certainly not when this match meant this much to her - but she was beginning to feel a crushing sense of dread come over her. How was she supposed to, when Kennedy had stacked the deck this much?

Except...it seemed like something was about to even the score!

When a hooded figure suddenly charged the ring, Sanae jumped up with a gasp. "WHAT!?" she cried, looking left and right. She could only look on wide-eyed as the hooded figure took on Elm and Freya, seemingly joining this match on her side! When she watched this newcomer kick Kennedy herself out of the ring under the ropes, that just made her jaw drop in awe. Could it be? It seemed as though Alizeh had come to her rescue. But she didn't know what to think about this. On one hand, she might well stand a chance now - on the other, surely Kennedy would find a way to use this against her. Knowing her tactics, Sanae wouldn't be surprised if she spun it as grounds to disqualify her!

"A-Alizeh-!" Sanae jumped up to her feet, walking up to the girl. "What are you doing here? This...this isn't your match-!"
