This gave Fang a chance to perform a move while her opponent was spending time trying to get back up. As Christina would get up, Fang would try to go for right hand strike to the face; with the plan to leave Christina disoriented briefly.

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
Fang's quick reaction, after getting back up from the pin, worked. The jabs pushed Christina back, but Fang was able to pull off a sweeping kick that took out Christina's legs from under her.

If that worked, she would deliver a kick to Christina's gut.
Finally, if that worked out, Fang would grab Christina's arm and fling her into a corner and ram her with a back body splash.

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
As Christina struggled to get back up, Fang seized the opportunity. She went for a right-hand strike to Christina’s face, aiming to leave her opponent briefly disoriented. The punch landed squarely, and Christina’s head snapped to the side, a pained grunt escaping her lips as she tried to shake off the blow.
Not wasting any time, Fang followed up with a swift kick to Christina’s gut.
“Ughhh!”
Christina groaned, doubling over from the impact as the air was driven out of her lungs. The pain was evident in her expression, but before she could fully recover, Fang grabbed Christina’s arm and flung her into the corner.
Christina’s back hit the turnbuckles hard, another pained grunt escaping her. She barely had a moment to react before Fang charged in, ramming her with a powerful back body splash. The impact left Christina dazed, slumping slightly in the corner, her breath coming in short, ragged gasps. She was clearly feeling the effects of Fang’s relentless offense, her body pressed against the ropes as she tried to regain her bearings. The crowd roared in approval, sensing that Fang had gained the upper hand!

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
Fang's subsequent attacks were proving to be very effective as she managed to push Christina back. She jab and kick made Christina double over in pain, which gave her the opportunity to fling her opponent into the turnbuckles; which was then followed with a back body splash.
As she now had the momentary upper hand, Fang tried to take this chance for another move. Seeing Christina pressing now against the ropes and not the turnbuckle, Fang would try to jump to the ropes next Christina, grab hold of her opponent's head, then fall backs to slam Christina onto the mat.
If this worked, she would try to go for a pin herself.

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
The crowd erupted as Christina hit the mat hard, a sharp, pained grunt escaping her as she landed. The impact sent a shockwave through her body, momentarily dazing her as the pain radiated from her back and head. Her vision blurred for a second, and a throbbing ache pulsed through her as she struggled to process the sudden slam. The mat felt unforgiving beneath her, every nerve in her body screaming in protest.
Fang wasted no time, quickly going for the pin, hoping to secure a victory while she had the upper hand. Christina's mind raced, the throbbing pain making it difficult to focus, but she knew she couldn’t let it end like this.
The referee dropped down to begin the count.
“ONE!… TWO!…”
Just before the referee could count to three, Christina summoned every ounce of strength she had left, kicking out with force. The effort sent another wave of pain through her body, but it was enough to break the pin. She rolled over to her fours, her breath coming in ragged gasps as she fought to regain her composure. The crowd roared with mixed reactions, half cheering for Fang, the other half urging Christina to get back up.
Christina’s mind was a swirl of pain as she was clearly feeling the effects of Fang’s relentless assault, but she wasn’t ready to give up. Gritting her teeth, she planted her hands and knees firmly on the mat, forcing herself to rise. She knew this match was far from over, and she wasn’t about to let Fang walk away with the victory.

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
Fang was close to ending this match. She managed to land a few more blows on Christina and keeping off the offense. This all helped ensure that Fang took as little damage as possible as she went to go for the pin. As the pin occurred, Fang could hear the crowd loud and clear; some cheering for her, while others rooting for Christina.
After the referee counted two, he was close to counting to three until Christina broke the pin with a forceful kick. Fang relinquished her hold on Christina and moved away from her.
As she gave time for Christina to get back up, Fang would try to keep control of the fight in her favour. As soon as Christina was backing up, Fang ran to bounce off ropes opposite to where her opponent was and attempted to perform a frontal tackle.

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
As she watched Christina get back up, Fang knew she needed to maintain control of the fight. Timing her move carefully, she ran towards the ropes opposite to where Christina was, using them to gain momentum as she charged back, aiming for a frontal tackle to take Christina down once more!
But Christina, drawing on her experience as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, was ready. The moment Fang lunged forward, Christina instinctively reacted, catching Fang mid-tackle. In a fluid, practiced motion, Christina locked in a guillotine choke, wrapping her arms tightly around Fang’s neck and pulling her down to the mat.
The crowd roared, sensing the shift in the match. Christina’s experience was showing through, and now it was Fang who found herself in a precarious position!

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
As Fang lunged in with the tackle, she found that Christina changed the tables by catching her in mid-tackle. Having been pulled down onto the mat and trapped in a guillotine choke. Struggling to balance herself a bit, she tried to adjust herself so she could try to escape, which was to jab Christina's sides, which were potentially vulnerable. However, she needed to get that balance right first before she could start hitting.

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
Finally managing to steady herself, Fang aimed several sharp jabs at Christina’s sides, hoping the strikes would be enough to loosen the choke. However, the power behind her punches was limited. In a guillotine choke, her body position was severely compromised. With her neck and upper body trapped, Fang couldn’t rotate or extend her arms fully. This meant her jabs lacked the full force that comes from the hips and core, as her posture was restricted and off-balance.
The close-quarters nature of the hold also worked against Fang. The strikes, while precise, didn’t have enough room to build the momentum needed for a significant impact. Christina absorbed the blows, tightening her grip even further as Fang’s efforts proved insufficient to break the hold.
Despite her best attempts, Fang’s jabs simply didn’t have the power to force Christina to release the choke. The crowd roared as the struggle continued, with Christina’s experience and control proving decisive. Fang was fighting hard, but Christina’s tight grip and superior positioning left her trapped, unable to break free from the chokehold...unless...

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
Fang gagged a bit from the choking, as she felt the grip Christina had on her tightened and was not letting go any time soon. The time spent enduring that hold, coupled with her attempts to jab Christina, was draining Fang. If she did not get out of this hold soon, she could potentially pass out. Of course, breaking out of the chokehold with what she was doing seemed impossible.
But there was another way. It would be tricky and take time and energy, but Fang needed to escape this hold. She slid her arms under and around Christina's back, almost like a hug.
If she was able to, she would attempt to push herself up, with Christina in an embrace. From there, she would lift Christina just high enough for her to slam her opponent back onto the mat as hard as she could.

Re: Christina Perez vs. Candace "Fang" Lewis — Standard Match
Christina hit the mat with a loud thud, a grunt of pain escaping her lips as the force of the impact broke her hold on Fang. The choke was released, and Christina’s grip loosened as she clutched at her back, clearly feeling the effects of the slam. She rolled slightly, wincing and trying to regain her bearings while attempting to push herself up to her feet.
