The Idol Dragons vs Golden Time — Cosplay Tag Match

Hearing the responses from Yukino and Nashi Rebecca would spin around with a shocked look on her face. She hadn't intended on them hearing her quip to Lucy, but quickly realized it only made sense to extend the invitation to their opponents. "Don't worry we're always good for our debts! I've got my place picked out so I hope you'll return the favor!" A little friendly banter only adding to the excitement for Rebecca. Turning back toward Lucy to hand over her jacket the two blondes had beaming smiles.

"Even more reason not to lose I guess!" Lucy would give a wink to Rebecca. "Let's get it done!" Moving away from her corner a little Rebecca would begin to stretch herself out. Looking across the ring it seemed Yukino would the first of the Idol Dragons to enter the fray. Rebecca's nerves continued to build until the first tone from the bell rang out. Like a light switch the bell quelled the nerves and just excitement remained.

Upon the third toll of the bell the PPV debut for Golden Time had begun! Yukino quickly advanced toward Rebecca wasting no time in offering a lock up. Rebecca would oblige the request as she too moved forward before locking up with Yukino in the center of the ring.

Rebecca wanted to start strong and quell any doubts in the minds of the crowd that this match would be a smash and grab for the veteran fighters. Hopefully the simplicity of an old faithful strike from her MMA days would help start her off. Looking to transition both hands behind Yukino's head, Rebecca would try and start throwing knee after knee into Yukino's torso.

Nashi's enthusiasm had a habit of getting away from her - and that was well on display in this match, not only with the entrance she had put together, but also with how she was already hyping up another match between the two Idol Dragons, even though nothing had been declared. A few fans cheered at the very notion - after all, their match against each other for LAW Apex had stood out as an action-packed exhibition of their talents that quickly cemented itself as a fan favorite. But Yukino could only look back at her with wide eyes, taken aback. "What..!?" Surely, it was too soon to say anything. At the same time, the thought of taking on Nashi again was an exciting one, she couldn't deny that...

But that was something for another day. Right now, Yukino had another match to get underway! Moving in closer, she met Rebecca in a lockup, ready to start things off on even footing. The two girls began to strafe around each other in a circle, pushing and pulling at one another as they each tried to claim the upper hand. But when they were both in point-blank range, Yukino was vulnerable - and soon, Rebecca began to rain down a barrage of knee strikes into her gut!

The white-haired girl coughed and gagged as the air was driven out of her lungs, and she began to double over forward, bowing inward against the assault. She winced through her clenched teeth - Rebecca had definitely demonstrated she could hit hard, and she would have to be wary. Even now, she could feel the aches and pains running through her core. But she couldn't let it stop her! Now that Rebecca had released her hands, Yukino would go to throw her arms around Rebecca's waist, looking to sink in a waistlock. If she could thus get control, she would try to circle around the blonde's back, and then lift her to throw her down with a German suplex!

Sustained knees like this were a return to Rebecca's MMA training days. Sustained knees for minutes at a time were a common conditioning exercise, but were equally effective against an opponent. Rebecca's knees drove into Yukino's stomach and soon enough she had the woman doubling over as the knees continued one after the other. However, against an opponent like Yukino one could never let their guard down. As Yukino went lower, Rebecca's hands slid off the back of her head and Yukino was quick to take advantage.

Yukino was quick to respond to the slightest mistake an indication of the veteran fighters experience. Almost immediately upon Rebecca's grip faltering, Yukino moved forward eating another knee before she locked her arms around Rebecca's waist. "Hrrghh" Yukino's grip was tight and a little painful as she squeezed Rebecca's waist with incredible strength. However, Rebecca made a mistake she'd made often when she trained grappling and didn't fight the lock quick enough. Within moments of the lock being placed around her waist, Yukino had transitioned behind Rebecca. Only then did Rebecca's try to fight the hands of Yukino's lock, but it was too late.

Moments later, Yukino hauled backwards causing Rebecca's feet to leave the ground. "Ohhh...sh..!" Before Rebecca could utter the final syllables her back impacted the canvas with tremendous force. "AGGHHHH!" The momentum from the slam would cause Rebecca to roll before ultimately ending up on her stomach. Rebecca began coughing as Yukino had repayed her by forcing the air from her lungs. Amid the coughs and gasps for air Lucy remained still for several moments before trying to rise to her feet. She needed to be on point this match, but for the moment Yukino had control.

Rebecca had certainly sent an impression from the moment the bell sounded - she wasn't messing around. She was a highly skilled martial artist, and she was going to make that clear to Yukino by force, laying into her with hard strikes right from the start! The Winter Idol began to bend over forward, coughing and sputtering - the blows had left her winded. But they had also reminded her that Rebecca wasn't going to go easy on her - and so too, Yukino couldn't go easy on her, either! She needed to show her she wasn't going to go down that easily. She would take the blows in stride - and launch her counterattack!

Gritting her teeth as she sucked a breath into her lungs, Yukino would cling closely to her opponent, strafing around her. She wouldn't let her arms drop from Rebecca's sides the whole while - because they put her in the perfect position to hoist her up off the ground, driving her head-first into the mat! As Rebecca landed with a thud, the arena burst into cheers. Yukino was showing them all that she wouldn't let herself be intimidated!

Rolling away from Rebecca, Yukino took a moment to wipe some sweat off her brow before she looked back to lock eyes on her foe. There, she saw that Rebecca was in the process of fighting her way back up to her feet...but if she had anything to say about it, she wasn't going to make it there! "Oh no, you don't!" Yukino snapped, grabbing hold of Rebecca's leg. If she could get a good grip, she'd pull the limb toward her to try and pull the blonde back down - and if she could interrupt her efforts to get up, she'd pull Rebecca's legs around her own, then throw herself onto her back to stretch at her joints with a figure four leglock!

The suplex had certainly been a painful way for Rebecca to meet the canvas for the first time this match. However, she couldn't afford to rest on her laurels nursing the pain given her opponent. As Rebecca began to haul herself back to her feet Yukino pounced just as the blonde had begun to rest on one knee. Despite her urgency to recover Yukino's reaction and speed was impressive.

A firm grip pulled Rebecca backward as she dropped back to the canvas being hauled in for Yukino's next maneuver. Rebecca's legs were soon caught in a tangle with Yukino's as she was given a good stretch in a figure four. "Arrrrrgggg!" Rebecca's body would flex from the pain as she sat up slightly before falling back to the canvas.

It was another painful move, but Rebecca needed to remain as calm as possible to think clearly on how to proceed. The longer she was trapped here the worse for her in the long run. Pulling herself up to a more sitting position once again, Rebecca would begin trying to attack the lock focusing on one of Yukino's legs. If she could pry one of the them loose she would try to pull the foot into her armpit and lock the heel between her arm and body. She hoped to get a good enough grip to try and lock in a heel hook.

In taking Rebecca to the mat, Yukino had shown off her command of power moves. But she was just as adept at exerting her dominance from the ground - and she was going to prove that next, as she grabbed the blonde's leg to entrap it with a figure four leglock! Yukino wasn't sparing any offense, establishing a strong showing right from the get-go to make sure her opponent knew she was no one to be trifled with. This was a big night for the Idol Dragons, and she was going to make it count!

Gritting her teeth, the idol leaned backward, trying to draw on as much force as she could to stretch the muscles and tendons in Rebecca's legs to their limit. But Rebecca had plenty of technical expertise of her own - something she would display as she grabbed onto Yukino's leg and started to pry it apart! Yukino looked up at the scene with a glare, her teeth clenching into a grimace under the pressure. She would try to brace herself, keeping her muscles taut and pulling back to try and keep her joints from falling into Rebecca's grasp. But it was no use - Rebecca managed to pull Yukino's leg into her clutches, clamping it against her side, before leaning back to stretch at the white-haired girl's leg in return!

Suddenly feeling the pain erupt all down her side, Yukino threw back her head and let out a wail. But even as her eyes began to twitch and her brow ran with sweat, she would look back at Rebecca, refusing to back down. She couldn't forget that she had already done some damage to Rebecca's leg - surely, that would be lingering in her. And if her leg was still within reach, that gave Yukino a target. She swung her fist out at Rebecca's shin, trying to bludgeon all up and down her leg to try and break her grip!

Rebecca had managed to secure Yukino's foot and wrenched on it with everything she could muster. She wasn't always the best at locking in submissions, but heel hooks were painful even if they weren't locked in fully. If the blonde duo wanted a chance at winning they would have to match the volume of offense being thrown their way. For Rebecca this meant bringing out some of her MMA background that she had never really mastered. Hopefully keeping her opponent guessing on what was coming next would play to her benefit.

Hearing Yukino yell out meant that Rebecca had managed to lock in the heel hook. She'd seen many people tap to these given the torque and pain this placed on the foot and leg of the receiving party. As she squeezed and pulled Rebecca could hear Lucy cheering her on from the ropes fueling her to continue her assault. This would continue until a hard strike smacked into Rebecca's previously targeted leg that still stung from Yukino's figure four.

"HRRRRRggg!" Behind gritted teeth the nerves in her leg fired like needles piercing her skin. This first strike was followed by another and then another, each one sending a sharp pain shooting through her body. As the strikes landed, Rebecca's grip would loosen slowly until Yukino's foot was beginning to slip. Realizing her grip would soon fail, Rebecca coiled her legs and sought to push off while simultaneously releasing Yukino's leg. She was hoping to separate a little from her opponent and rise to her feet. She expected Yukino would be slow to rise due to the heel hook.

If she was successful, Rebecca would approach Yukino and hoped to throw some heavy ground stomps into Yukino's torso.

Yukino had decided to show off some of her technical expertise when she locked Rebecca in the figure four, but the blonde was now out to demonstrate that she could play that game too! Now that she had gotten Yukino's leg braced against her body, she could lean back and stretch the muscles and tendons all down her leg - and Yukino had no choice but to bear the brunt of all that force. She hissed and sputtered, tossing her head back and forth as she tried to maintain her focus despite the pain. But Yukino had no intentions of giving in just yet - not when she was here to represent the Idol Dragons on the grand stage, and not this early into the match! She knew that Rebecca's leg would already be sore from the damage she'd done to it earlier, so she would target that - if she could cause her opponent enough pain to withdraw, she could get her hold to break!

Sure enough, after a while, Rebecca broke away from Yukino, knocking the white-haired girl flat onto her back as she got up. Yukino fell back with a hiss, reaching down to rub at her aching leg. Unfortunately for her, though, she wouldn't have long to attend to that - Rebecca was close at hand, bringing her foot up to deliver some hard stomps against her chest and stomach! Coughing and sputtering, Yukino flopped onto her back; her whole body shook and trembled with every stomp that rocked her. She needed to get away from Rebecca, and fast! Gritting her teeth, she reached out behind her, attempting to grab the ropes so that she could pull herself away from her foe.

Despite having to break free from Yukino and lose her heel hook, Rebecca was thrilled she'd been able to utilize it. She'd never once been able to lock one in before and it felt like a small yet important accomplishment for her. Yukino though was certainly a tough opponent to grit her teeth and survive the lock. Many lesser opponents would tap within moments as the pain shot through their body. Despite wanting to celebrate even the small success, Rebecca needed to focus on her next steps.

She was in a strong position standing over Yukino landing heavy stomps to the torso. Despite being in the stronger position Yukino was fighting through it to try and gain access to the ropes and pull herself away from Rebecca's attacks. Seeing this, Rebecca would reach down and seek to secure a grip with both hands. One grabbing a small handful of hair and the other on the woman's arm. Rebecca knew the key to their victory here was keeping a constant rotation of the fresher opponent into the ring.

With that in mind, Rebecca would try and drag Yukino back toward her friendly corner where Lucy stood waiting. "Get me in there!" Lucy was keen to enter the fray if she could holding out a hand for Rebecca. If she could get Yukino back to her friendly corner, Rebecca would set her against the turnbuckle and tag Lucy into the bout for the first time.

For Rebecca, this had indeed been a success. Perhaps not one that would shift the tides of the match, but it was one that couldn't go unacknowledged. Yukino was a bigger star in LAW, with more experience under her belt in the promotion; she even held a title, though it was for another league. So too, she was well known for her technical expertise. And yet, Rebecca had just managed to hit a move not unlike those Yukino often applied herself, and managed to do some damage with it! Yukino would be feeling that one - Rebecca had made a difference.

Still, Yukino wasn't going to let that stop her - Rebecca might've won out in this battle, but she hadn't won the war. Even as the blonde hammered her with stomps and kicks, she still tried to drag herself across the canvas to get to safety. But before she could get to her feet, Rebecca latched onto her and began to haul her back! Yukino's teeth clenched as she felt herself being dragged across the ring. She could see what Rebecca was doing. She was making sure she could get to Lucy to tag her in, while at the same time preventing her opponent from doing the same!

If that was the case, though...so be it! Even as Yukino slumped in the corner, and Lucy took her place in the ring, the white-haired girl still looked up at her with a glare of defiance. If this was her team's chance to shine at We Are LAW, Yukino would prove that she was just as capable of handling Lucy as she was handling Rebecca. As Lucy came closer, she would kick her legs up from the ground, attempting to clamp them around her knee, before she rolled to the side, trying to trip Lucy up and pull her down with her!
