Loba was panting and moaning slightly as she rolled over after taking the German suplex from the modern day Hercules, but having enough sense to roll away from him prior to a pinfall attempt she bought herself time. But not much time.
It would only take so long before Luke was back upon her and she knew she had to be ready. Holding her back as she got her legs under her Loba would lift herself up before looking up with steely eyes, watching as Luke turned and broke out into a run for the ropes, rebounding off them and coming back at her!
'I got one chance here.' Loba thought to herself as she sucked in a breath of air and pushed herself forward, ducking lower than Luke had lowered himself, placing her arms out until she felt Luke's hips. Pushing up on them as she rose up for added momentum sh would try and pop Luke right into the air! If successful she would try and grab him out of the air before falling backwards, trying to splatter Luke with a sudden counter using her signature move Howling Descent! Spoiler
Bouncing off the ropes, Luke made sure to gather the momentum of his rebound into a charge - and aimed it right at Loba! At the sight of such a big man going dashing across the ring, his shoulder raised to hit Loba like a battering ram, many gasped; some even had to avert their gaze. Even if Loba was hardly a small woman herself, the thought of her taking a strike from a titan like Luke at full force was almost too frightful to consider. Surely it would've flattened her like a steamroller! But what Luke didn't realize was that his shoulder charge would never make impact at all - in fact, all he was doing was delivering himself into the luchadora's waiting arms!
Luke didn't realize what was happening until his shoulder whiffed, only making contact with the air. He looked up, trying to figure out what was happening around him - but by then, it was already too late! Suddenly, he felt the woman's arms clamp around his waist and hoist him up off the ground. Luke tried to kick his legs in the air, but to no avail - Loba had him caught!
A few fans began to cheer at the sight that Loba was even capable of performing such a feat of strength, lifting a man of Luke's size! But what came next was even better - she proceeded to toss him up into the air as though he weighed nothing at all! When she came down a moment later, it was with a resounding thud that shook the ring, and caused the whole arena to break into an uproar of cheers, sending the former bodybuilder's arms and legs flying up into the air! If Loba had set out to demonstrate how strong she truly was, no one could deny she had succeeded!
And it was Luke who was taking the brunt of that offense! When the dust finally cleared, he was left sprawled out on the mat, his arms splayed out to the side and his head spinning. All he could do was let out a low groan. After all, he'd just been slammed with all the momentum he had gathered and more. It was going to take time to shake that off - and Loba no doubt wouldn't afford him that time!
Loba was brave and determined, refusing to back down even a step to Luke, despite the tremendous power and fierce tenacity he himself showed throughout the match.
As such despite the damage she had just taken at the man's hands she not only fought her way back into the match but did so in quite the dramatic and impactful way as she not only hefted Luke up from his own move but then proceeded to outdo her self by lifting him even higher before dropping down, slamming the man against the mat with her signature move, one that had the entire crowd go wild in appreciation for the grit and power on display by the luchadora!
Of course such a feat didn't come at no cost. Loba herself was breathing heavily after it but she had enough sense to scoot herself back towards Luke, turning herself over as she did so and lifting one of her legs to swing over Luke's head, dropping herself down on top of the man's face while grabbing his legs and lifting them up to pin him!
Even if the two wrestlers were titans in their own right, with size and strength worthy of boasting over, Luke had begun to work his dominance over the luchadora. But despite it all, Loba refused to give in - not even when the odds seemed like they should have been stacked against her! She was determined to stand tall, and to show the world that no matter what happened she would keep on fighting. Even when she was right in the path of Luke's charge, she wouldn't be deterred - keeping a cool head through the pressure, she managed to grab him in mid-stride, hoisting him up in the air and hurling him to the mat with a seismic thud!
The very fact that Loba was capable of bringing down such a big man was already enough to get the crowd cheering and gasping! But now that Luke was down, Loba wouldn't waste a second in seizing on her next opportunity. She sprung on top of him, and as her body collided with his, he bucked and roiled, his legs kicking up into the air from the momentum of the impact. From there, she could pull back at his legs, twisting him into an arc as she went for the pin!
The referee dropped down at Luke's side, going to count the pin. "One! Two!" For a moment, everyone watched at the edge of their seats with rapt attention. With Luke staying down, It seemed like Loba could well win the match here! But it was just then that he kicked his legs into the air as he suddenly started back to life, kicking free of Loba's pin, and hopefully throwing her off him in the process. He wouldn't go down that easily!
Managing to bring Luke down in an incredible showing of strength Loba was no fool and dove straight down on top of the man, trying to go for a pin fall on the man while she had the chance! Unfortunately however it just wouldn't be enough. While the count went high to two and seemed on the verge of hitting three Luke would kick out just before the fateful final count could be made. "Kyah!" Loba cried out softly as she was flung forward off of Luke and onto her hands knees. "Dang." Loba said softly under her breath before pushing herself up to her feet and turning around to face the fallen Hercules.
Reaching down she would try and grab hold of the man by the wrists in order to pull him up and onto his feet. If able to do so then Loba would turn and pull on the man's arm in order to send him running at the ropes with an Irish whip! In the same moment that she did so Loba would pivot and rush at the ropes behind her, looking to bounce off them at the same that Luke would bounce off the set of ropes she sent him running into. All so that she could set herself on a collision course with Luke to try and throw her arms up and blast against Luke's side to go for her Pounce signature!
As the ref counted, the whole arena watched in anticipation, wanting to see if this was it - if Loba really had it in her to keep Luke down for good. Unfortunately for the masked woman, it wasn't to be. Even if Loba was proving a worthy match for his sheer power, it was going to take more than that to keep a titan like Luke Cranston down for long! With a kick of his leg, he managed to force his shoulder up off the ground - and with it, Loba herself was thrown forward and off of him! When the luchadora was no small woman herself, it was a testament to Luke's strength that he was able to move her with such ease!
But Loba had also proven herself to be quick on her feet - and that was something she would fall back on now. Luke had begun to roll over to get onto his knees and gather his bearings, but before he could climb to his feet, Loba had already closed the distance - and grabbed him by the arms, hoisting him back up before he so much as had a chance to collect his center of balance! Luke let out a gasp at the sudden change in altitude - but before he could process what was happening, Loba had already whipped him from one side of the ring to the other; his feet pumped at the air, carrying him faster than he could keep track of. And when his motion would finally come to a halt, it was when Loba swung her arms inward, clubbing him against his ribs!
The impact was enough to take Luke right off his feet, and he dropped straight down, clutching at his sides. He groaned from the pain, and his teeth clenched in a grimace. If Luke had been dominating the action a moment ago, now it was Loba's time to shine. All the same, though, he was in no position to let Loba hold control for long - and he pushed off the mat with his hand, attempting to roll his weight over to the side and get out of Loba's way, lest there was more offense in store!
Despite her initial pin attempt not managing to work on Luke things were definitely looking up for the masked wrestler as she lifted Luke up and tossed him against the ropes while running to rebound off of them herself, catching the man with her signature move the pounce! Watching as he was knocked down to the mat Loba would smile brightly under the mask, watching as he rolled away and started to try and sit up. Recognizing this as a perfect opportunity to further her offense though Loba would turn to the ropes and run to them, intending on rebounding off of them and coming back at Luke, jumping as she neared him while extending her legs out to try and deliver a baseball slide dropkick right to his ribs and send him flying out of the ring!
Luke knew that Loba was surely gearing up for her next move, and so he tried to throw himself over to the side as hard as he could, rolling across the ring to get out of the path of her offense. However, Loba wasn't going to take no for an answer there. If Luke wanted to get away, she'd just bring the fight to him - without a doubt she still had the energy in her to do so! Luke picked himself up into a seated position, rubbing at his head, and then started to rise to his feet - but it was just then that Loba came charging straight at him, her legs extended for a dropkick that rammed into his chest before he could get all the way up!
Letting out a cough, Luke toppled backward. He fell back through the ropes, toppling out onto the floor below just inches away from where Flora was standing! She let out a gasp and jumped aside, twirling in place to focus on where he had landed, but it wasn't quick enough to stop the path of his descent. He came down with a thump, landing against the floor head-first!
"LUKE-!" she cried out.
"Nngh...I'm okay-!" Luke wasn't about to admit a moment of vulnerability in his first match. Groaning under his breath, he rolled onto his side and rubbed at his temples. His teeth clenched in a grimace. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, Loba had definitely slowed him down - and now, the ref had begun the count with him out of the ring. "One!"
Loba was as tenacious as she was fun loving and despite Luke's best efforts she remained on the man as much as she found possible, and was eventually finally successful in driving him out of the ring with a baseball slide dropkick that left him sprawled out on the floor below! Picking herself up and posing for the fans a bit Loba knew that this was definitely one of, if not her biggest opportunity yet.
Turning to the ropes and grabbing the top one in a iron clad grip she looked down and made sure that Luke was still in the position she wanted him, seeing that was indeed the case Loba would push off and back up a few paces... Before rushing forward, jumping up and turning midair so her legs landed on the top rope, bouncing off them and turning through the air, trying to come down on top of Luke from above with a spring board moon sault!
Despite taking a nasty fall onto the mats below, Luke was still determined to stay in the game. That didn't say it hurt, of course. Even his muscles couldn't absorb that sort of punishment. He was sore all over, and his body ached every time he tried to move it, his teeth clenched in a grimace. Still, if this was going to be his first match in LAW, he wasn't going to let something like this stop him - he had to keep fighting it, until he couldn't any more!
He began to drag himself forward across the mats outside the ring, trying to get himself to the barricade - it seemed like the easiest handhold he could find to get back up. Still, every time he so much as hauled himself an inch, the pain came back up to the surface, and he fell back down onto his face, groaning in agony. The count kept coming - "Two! Three! Four!" - but he could barely budge. The whole while, Flora could only look on at this with her hands raised to her mouth in a stifled gasp. She could only hope that her husband hadn't been seriously injured.
To Loba, though, that meant nothing - the luchadora had taken her opponent down, and that left her with an opportunity. An opportunity she was now ready to capitalize on, as she took off in a dash straight across the ring - flying into the air, and preparing to hurl herself down on top of Luke in a massive moonsault! The crowd gasped, only able to imagine what sort of power Loba could have behind such a blow - especially with Luke in his state, how could he possibly withstand it? But it was Flora who was all but paralyzed where she stood, the color draining away from her face as she watched the shadow of Loba's body begin to grow larger and larger. If this hit, the match could well all be over - she knew that, whether Luke did or not. But Luke wasn't moving...and that was a matter Flora clearly had to take into her own hands!
"NO!!" she cried. Then, to the sounds of gasps, she sprung from the apron and hurled herself headlong toward where her husband lay, looking to shove him out of the path of Loba's descent!
