What is this?
- To answer simply, this is a little game I am making to go along with my time here. I am converting my word count in my posts directly to experience points so I can make an RPG out of my wrestling characters. It should, in theory, push me to write more.
So does this affect you, my dear reader, as a potential opponent? Not really, no.
I will be doing my best to abide by my own little rules so it'll determine what type of things my character can do but it does not extend to your character. Feel free to do what you want and treat it like any other RP here. All of this RPG stuff is going on in my end because it is fun. That said, feel free to use this or engage with it as well. I do not mind. Hell, feel free to give me ideas, too! I'll end up changing things around once I have a few characters going probably but this is will be a start.
So words are converted to XP and then I spend that XP to improve or add things to my character. I have it mapped out to include stats up to 10 and purchases for things like perks, outfits, match specialties, finishers, gimmicks, etc. I'll usually allocate purchases that feel inline with what happened with my character.
- Strength: Pure muscle stat. Helps determine measures of power behind strikes and the ability to take blows. Throw Moves require this stat.
- Speed: Reaction and mobility stat. Helps determine measures of getting the jump on the opponent or avoiding getting jumped. High-Flying Moves require this stat.
- Endurance: Classic stamina based stat. Helps determine measures of having energy throughout the match, ability to endure attacks, avoid submitting to submission holds, and to avoid being pinned.
- Skill: Ability-to-do-moves stat. Helps determine measures of executing wrestling moves successfully, knowledge of submission holds, and "reading" the opponent. Submission Hold Moves require this stat.
- Style: The Luck/Charisma stat. Helps determine measures of luck and rallying through crowd reaction (heels feeding off of jeers, faces on cheers, etc). This stat can help give that lucky break or some other outside factor that can influence all aspects of a match.

- 4000 - Match Type Veterancy: Confers a slight bonus to a certain match type. Stacks.
- 5000 - Improves Move Type efficiency by one stage.
- 5500 - Move Type Veterancy: Confers a slight bonus to certain move types. Stacks. Leads to specializing.
- 6000 - New Signature Move: Powerful move that can help influence a match.
- 6500 - New Outfit
- 7000 - New Finisher: Most powerful move that will likely finish a match.
