Alaina was hurting when the knee smashed her off her feet! She had the wind knocked right out of her and was struggling when she saw Bast moving. Alaina couldn't do much aside from tense up her mid-section and bring her arms up to absorb as much of the hit as she could!

Even blocking the force was like that of a piledriver and Alaina was being woman handled by Bast. She had to stop the slide and now. Somehow. Having blocked some of the devastating hit an already desperate looking Alaina shoved Bast away and tried to push herself put of the corner lowering her own shoulder into the abdomen of Bast as she charged forward!

The referee started shouting warnings at Bast as she tried to maximize her time in the corner, but she might as well have been yelling at the floor. She was well aware of how much time she would have in this position, and she wanted to maximize it, meting out all the punishment she could.

It wasn’t enough to keep Alaina down forever, however, and the Amazon was able to push her way out and drive forward, slamming her shoulder into Bast’s stomach to drive her back toward the center of the ring. This was an instance where the height difference worked in the champion’s favor, giving her a low center of gravity that made it awkward to deal with. The challenger was driven back, step by step, struggling to keep her balance as they made their way to the center of the ring.

Knowing she needed to stop Alaina’s momentum before it got out of hand, Bast reached over and wrapped her arms around her opponent’s waist from above, pulling in tight as she was driven back. She planted her feet hard, braced, and lifted the Amazon up as she arched her back, attempting to toss her overhead with a gutwrench suplex.

Alaina felt Bast grab her and as she started to lift Alaina quickly hooked one of her legs around Basts to prevent herself from being lift off the mat. "Ngh... not today..." Alaina said sending punches into the abdomen of Bast to try to free herself from the grip of the giantess!

Alaina had to get on the offensive somehow... but this rock of a woman seemed impervious to anything. Alaina's stubborn pride wouldn't let her stop trying though. If she couldn't free herself she would try to grab low and lift Bast up and over attempting something of a modified Northern Lights suplex from this position!

Bast tensed up, prepared for the plunge, only to find her attack stall at the opening phase - she couldn't get Alaina up. She was confused for a second, until she noticed the tug on her leg, with the champion using her own leg to anchor her down. Smart - if the positions had been swapped, she couldn't say one would’ve occurred to her. The woman’s experience served her well, and she doubted it would be the last time.

”Today.” Alaina started throwing strong punches into her midsection, but Bast raised her fist and prepared to level her with a powerful haymaker, hoping to drop her with a single blow. Before she could follow through, however, the woman moved in, got under her shoulder, and lifted her with shocking ease, sending her flipping and flying overhead. She came down for a hard crash on her back and rolled through the impact, coming up to her knee a few feet away.

Still, it had taken her for a loop, and while it wasn’t significant damage, it wasn’t something she could shake off easily, either. Bast grabbed the nearby rope for support, pulling her way back up as she honed in on Alaina, trying to figure out what the next move

Alaina was up and moving at Bast as she got up, looking to swing her knee into the jaw of the rising woman! The amazon knew she had to be proactive. Bast was too big, too strong, too tough not to go all out against. Alaina would quickly reach up and grab Bast around the head right after attempting to bend her knees and lift hoping to show Bast another suplex this time one of the vertical variety! Alaina couldn't stop. Alaina had to take it to Bast and really work over this mountain of a woman as it seemed like there was no stopping the giantess.

Bast was on her way up when she was greeted by something she didn’t expect - a knee, striking her clean on the face. While the attack wasn’t new, she would be lying if she said she’d expected it coming from Alaina. The woman always struck her as more of a traditional grappler, not a striker, and certainly not the sort to be using a move like that out of the gate, but perhaps she’d underestimated the depths of her repertoire.

Regardless, it was a good shot, and it stunned Bast long enough for the Amazon to reach over and grab her by the head, pulling her in a familiar position. Bast gasped as she was lifted, showing her opponent’s power in the beginnings of what would’ve likely been a vertical suplex.

‘Likely’, because she had no plans on finding out. Just before the plunge, Bast threw her leg down, trying to ram her knee into the top of Alaina’s skull and stop the ambitious move halfway.

Alaina had Bast up when the knee smashed the top of her head! "Ugh!" Alaina groaned as she wobbled feeling her grip loosen. Alaina tried to shove Bast to the side so she didn't get a clean landing but the surprise force of the blow she never saw coming left her wobbling about shaking her head. Was Bast really that much stronger? Alaina would have to dig deep, and outlast a woman who was seemingly impossible to crack!

Bast was many things, but graceful? Never that. After the knee connected with Alaina’s skull, she came down rough and nearly tweaked her knee, not used to dropping with that much force from such a height. It was impressive that the Amazon had even managed to get her up in the first place - not many women on the roster could have handled it with that amount of ease, and she doubted it would be the last time she would be so impressed.

But there was little time to gawk - a window had been opened, and she needed to go through it. Bast pushed her way back up and moved in on her stumbling foe, rising to greet her with open arms. She wrapped them around Alaina’s waist and pulled her in tight, giving her a firm squeeze, lifting her off the mat as she secured a tight bearhug. She needed to work on her foe’s back, as well - the more damage she did to that area, the less she would have to worry about being suplexed.

"Wha- NGH!"

Alaina was wrapped up and constructed, no, crushed by the rock hard powerful arms of Bast before she could react! Alaina kicked her feet and shook her head as her hair flew everywhere. Her torso felt as though it were being grind down and she had to escape this vice grip! Alaina cocked her fists back and began smashing Bast in a desperate bid to punch her way to freedom. Alaina was in a bad spot and from the opening bell to now she deemed be be slowly sliding downhill losing overall control to Bast with each passing second.

Bast kept Alaina close and poured on the pressure, grinding away at Alaina’s midsection with the simple but effective hold. She wasn’t under any delusions that she could get this woman to tap out with something so simple, but that wasn’t the goal - no, she wanted to do damage, she wanted to weaken, she wanted to grind the Amazon down and take all of her offensive options off the table.

Of course, that would come with a price. Alaina’s hands were free, and she used them to batter Bast in the face, drilling her with a few stiff shots. Even though her feet were off the ground and she couldn't get full power behind them, they were still some of the heaviest blows she’d ever felt, and she could only take so many. Thankfully, she wouldn’t have to endure them for much longer.

Instead of releasing her opponent, Bast doubled down, pulled her in tighter than ever, then planted her feet and arched her back to send Alaina flying overhead, launching her across the ring with a massive belly-to-belly suplex.
