Carolina might have well screamed from the elbow to her stomach, were it not for the fact that the sharp blow emptied out her lungs too much to allow her to put anything about but a low "GUHH!". The follow up punches to her chest were painful as well, but they didn't induce the type of sharp pain or fear of serious damage that barrage of punches would have created that'd produce a scream, rather than a series of pained grunts. make that mistake, she'd reach up with her left hand in an attempt to grab Kafka's hair to hold her in place. If she did that successfully, next would follow right handed punches targeted at Kafka's left eye.

Carolina's counterattack hit Kafka's eye, and that, combined with the yank of Kafka's hair made the woman scream loudly, making her flail about frantically to get free. She now also had a black eye from the strike, and she scrambled free of the woman's grasp, clutching her eye in one hand, and rubbing her hair with the other. Kafka now had half a mind to forfeit, as it was becoming clear she wasn't going to win. But she had to try and win.

Carolina's fist landed in exactly in Kafka's left eye socket with merciless force, with both that and the hair pulling getting a scream loud enough to count out of her opponent. After she pulled herself away, the ice lioness got to her feet and walked away from the center of the ring and into her corner. It'd be a minute of rest before the match would commence again. Islijonnia leaned back, smugly watching her opponent cradle her injured eye.

Kafka was now in serious trouble. Not only was she down by a point, but her opponent had the time to heal off anything that happened to her prior, and Kafka had to nurse off an injury to her eye, which had left her, at least for the time being, partially blinded. She felt around for her corner, eventually finding it as the crowd contemplated if the match should have been called off. Kafka wanted to put on a show, but with this severe handicap, it would take a miracle to come back.

After a quick rest, Kafka came out running, roaring like a lion as she jumped up and attempted to drop kick Isla in the chest. With her right side vision currently out of action, this was a bit of a wild attack, and if it missed, it could spell disaster.

Carolina wanted a win, that was for sure. She also wanted a breakout win, that would set her apart fromother wrestlers in LAW, but it seemed that as much as she'd like to, she would not be getting it here. The punch she landed on Kafka left her stumbling half blinded toward her ring corner,

At this point, the match was all but already over, further confirmed by the wild dropkick attempt that was trivial gor Carolina to dodge. There was nothing to get from pulling out a win in this case. If she'd hurt someone tounament or championship match, perhaps she'd gladly take the opportunity to beat the crap out of Kafka to put fear in future opponents. But it wasn't that type of match.

If she hated Kafka or she was a rival streamer, it'd be a good opportunity to drag her out to the ring apron and perform her 'Retire, bitch' critical finisher, a leaping piledriver off the ring apron, to attempt to more seriously injure her. But she had no reason to want to do that to Kafka.

If anything, she'd have more to gain by showing the woman some mercy. So instead, Carolina would turn to the referee & ask that the match be called off as a stoppage victory for her. But that was as far as the ice lioness would go, she wasn't about to forfiet to match for her. If the match needed to go on, it could.

Carolina's mercy was gratefully received by Kafka, and she drunkenly hobbled to her corner, trying to get medical help. The injury was rather serious, her eye being completely swollen and no amount of ice could make the swelling shrink. She was in two minds at this point. One part of her wanted to forfeit the match to prevent her injury from getting worse, or inflicting a similar injury to her other eye. On the other hand, her ego wouldn't want her to give up in a match so easily. She had to think as she talked to the referee and medical professionals about where to go from here.

The crowd was getting restless about the injury, some wanting the match to continue regardless, and done wanting the match to continue regardless. Regardless of how the match was going to end, the result was all but confirmed, unless Carolina ended up stepping in and requesting for a draw and rematch, a very unlikely situation.

After a few minutes, the medical team receded, and Kafka stood up, having her eye completely covered, giving her a substantial disadvantage, but still a plausible chance to win. She just had to hope that Carolina made a substantial mistake herself. She moved forwards slowly, the crowd roaring with the fact that Kafka had not surrendered.

"I may be down an eye, but I am not done... yet..." Kafka said to Carolina, plotting ways to level the playing field.

Kafka was still a ways off from having Carolina's total ire, but she was getting there. After the blonde offered her the mercy of forfiet rather than taking advantage of her vulnerability, she got to use it for more time to be tended to by the medical team, which wouls make her at least somewhat more of a hassle to fight now.

As the match resumed, Carolina decided to give her opponent another chance, perhaps majing it ckear what would have to happen if they kept fighting. The Ice Lioness trying her best to no be to threathening to provoke spiteful resistance, nor too kind lest she not know Carolina would be hurting her a lot more if they continued fighting.

"Do you really want to do this? If we keep fighting, I'm going to keep damaging your eye. Even if you end up hurting me more & win, is that really worth it?" Carolina said in an additional effort to talk her down while still ready to strike.

"But I'm not taking a draw because I hurt you in a match where we've tried to make eachother scream. If you want a re-match, or even just fight me anywhere to hurt me back, I'd get that, but do you really want to keep this going?"

The more Kafka thought about it, the more she realised how futile it would be continuing. Her eye was still incredibly tender, and she could easily end up aggravating the injury to the point of losing it, should she continue the fight. A few seconds later, she briefly nodded to Carolina, before heading back to her corner. She was followed there by the referee, who seemed concerned. There she got more medical assistance to see if there was anything they could do in the ring to make it do that Kafka could see properly again.

The audience was not happy, booing the referee, the medics and Kafka, but they were not aware of how bad the injury was. Soon enough, the referee walked out and clutched Carolina's arm, lifting it aloft.

"Due to a medical dropout by Kafka, your winner tonight by default is Carolina Youngren!" The referee declared through his microphone. Much to his surprise, the response was a cavalcade of booing and cursing, not at Carolina, but at Kafka, who had lost a good amount of credibility due to this.

During this time, Kafka had continued to stay in her corner, groaning and howling in pain from her swollen eye. The medics soon decided that she needed to go into a ward to get looked at, and make sure no other injuries had been sustained. She was lifted to her feet and helped out of the ring, headed to the nearby medical facility.

Carolina wanted a win, but certainly not like this. She felt really bad about hurting Kafka precisely because the match ended so anticlimactically. Had this come a result of a vicious struggle that saw both of them making eachother scream & even cry, she wouldn't have bad at all, she might have even felt good about leaving her hurt, if not from gaining a dislike for her opponent but a mutual reconginition that the only fitting end to the match would be one of them being no longer able to safely keep fighting.

Caroline heard the boos as she was announced as the winner by medical dropout & like Kafka could tell, they weren't for her, but her injured opponent. Thta was no surprise, the fans came for dramatic lengthy match during a special LAW event and it ended way earlier than it should have. While Isljoninna wasn't going to go out on a metaphorical limb for Kafka to attempt to silence the ground, she would approach her to shake her hand.

"Sorry that it ended this way, like I said I if you want a rematch, we can have it any time or any place." She'd say, before rolling out of the ring & heading backstage, disappointed.

Winner by Medical Dropout: Carolina Reine Youngren
