Gekiganger 3 is quite the strange name for this tag team isn't it? Well that's because the name of this team is Konata's idea. See Konata as an ongoing joke that she's a massive fan of an anime called Gekiganger 3, except it's an anime that technically doesn't actually exist. The joke is that she pretends that it does, acting like it's the best anime ever and even made fake figures to help sell the illusion that it's real.
