Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
We Are LAW 6 was here and it was another chance for Grace to compete at a PPV after a long absence from them. The former No. 1 Contender for the Heavyweight championship was facing off against a former opponent from years back, Toshiko Ito who had knocked her out in the KO match. She knew Toshiko had tried to get through Apex just like her and they had both failed, something they both needed to bounce back from. Grace was excited about the chance to get a win over her, despite not being Toshiko's friend she respected her as a fighter and knew that a match between them would be a true challenge.
With nothing to lose Grace would make her entrance, smiling and greeting the fans that continued to cheer her as she came down to the ring and shake hands with them. She didn't let her recent failures bring her down, still confident in herself and walking down to the ring with that confidence before she entered. She would stand there waiting for Toshiko to arrive so she could shake her hands, she even hoped that the cold woman would be friendlier now.

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
The arena dimmed in the arena as Demon by Blue Stahli played. Toshiko Ito would then step out onto the stage with a spotlight on her. She was tense--more tense than usual before a fight. She was every bit as shredded and prepared though in her blue attire, and she had her typical war fans to her sides. She had a hardened expression on her face as she looked into the ring where Grace Kenning was. The very same Grace Kenning she faced in her debut--the one she had beaten and knocked out. She had given her quite a fight, but Toshiko left it feeling satisfied. But tonight was different. They were on a bigger stage, and Toshiko wasn't alone now.
Her half-sister, Kazuko Ito, joined her by her side. And the other member of the Cataclysm stable she was forced into, Mikasa Takeuchi, was joining her as well, staying behind her. Mikasa would then gesture for Toshiko to head to the ring when the blue-clad fighter glanced back. She visibly tensed and then began to perform a dance with her war fans as she made herself down the ramp. A very elaborate dance that was clear required plenty of skill, and normally used to intimidate her opponents. Grace Kenning was different though--Grace knew what to expect out of Toshiko.
When she got to the foot of the ring, she would then hop onto it and roll inside. Giving a sidelong glance to Grace, she would conclude with a final flourish, spinning and ending her war dance with a final pose before closing both fans and then setting them in her corner. The same corner in which she would stand, staring down Grace as the referee was preparing to start the match. The bell rang and Kenning had begun to approach the center of the ring, raising a hand as Toshiko began to approach as well. She seemed to want a more honorable start to the match--a hand shake. Something that Toshiko... actually considered. She had faced Grace in an honorable battle once before, and she had to admit that her normally frosty disposition had been dulled quite a bit with help of her relationship and various therapy sessions she had undergone. Yes, she would shake Grace's hand.
"Toshiko," said Kazuko Ito from the outside, leaning over the apron as she looked up at her, stopping just short of reaching Grace. Toshiko would pause, looking back at her. "Try to impress me." Kazuko said the words simply, tilting her head to the side. Toshiko's half-sister was wearing her mask, but she picture that smirk on her face. Try to impress me. Those words tore into her. Her body tensed upon hearing them. Her expression becoming more hardened. Mikasa on the outside just held her hands up, stepping back away from Kazuko to imply she didn't want any part of whatever was going on between them.
And then Toshiko would turn her head enough to look at Kenning from the corner of her eye. Any urge to shake her hand now was now gone. She wouldn't waste time with pleasantries. Instead, she would let out a yell, turning to immediately go into an assault. She went for two strikes to Grace's chest, aiming to catch her and put her off-guard. Then, she would follow up with a front kick towards Grace's midsection, looking to push her back and set the pace for this match. This wouldn't be a friendly encounter for them. That was going to be another violent rematch.

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
Grace watched for Toshiko to show up, looking as great as last time and still carrying the fans she had with her. Grace was surprised by the company she brought with her, one girl looked to be dressed similarly to Toshiko but the other one looked more like a manager, and Grace didn't think she had anyone like that. Then again, Toshiko was someone of few words and didn't exactly go over her past with Grace, but she knew that she'd never seen her come down with help before. She found herself getting defensive when they followed her down to the ring and didn't leave, but since that wasn't illegal she tried to brush off her concerns and keep things civil between her and Toshiko by offering a handshake. Toshiko actually looked like she was going to accept it until the girl in green spoke up, her words had meaning Grace didn't understand that seemed to make Toshiko change almost instantly. When she turned back to her she didn't offer a handshake, and yelled out as she would throw a few strikes to Grace's chest.
"Aaggh Nggh!" Grace groaned, the strikes smashing into her chest and sending pain to the breast bone as Toshiko's attacks proved to be as dangerous as before. The hits caused her enough pain to slow her down, and kept her close for Toshiko to follow that up with a kick to her stomach. "Ouuggh!" Grace groaned, folding up and wrapping her hands around her belly while she was only able to take a few steps back. The surprise of the opening attack had paid off and left Grace unprepared even though she knew the match had started, was this her idea of impressing them? Who were these people?

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
Toshiko Ito's abrupt assault managed to catch Grace in a big way, smashing into her chest and then knocking the wind out of her with a front kick. The Twilight Edge's moves were every bit as vicious as they ever have been, and maybe even moreso with her quite angry disposition right now. Giving a glance to Kazuko on the outside, Toshiko kept her hands clenched at her sides before looking back at Grace. Any pleasantries didn't matter--she was here to beat Kenning a second time. She was here to take her down in an impressive fashion and continue her ascent up the LAW ladder.
And as a bonus, she would show her half-sister that she was worthy. To impress her. The words stinging in her mind.
Suddenly moving quickly, Toshiko rushed to the ropes, rebounding off of them before leaping up. She would then attempt to grab Grace's head and do a flip, trying to hit a flying neckbreaker on her while she was doubled over. A move that would show her athleticism and put Kenning on the mat, if successful. She wasn't going to waste any time trying to devastate her opponent, especially not on this platform.

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
It was obvious something sinister was brewing with this group that followed Toshiko to the ring, Grace could tell that something was bothering her opponent. She seemed unsettled and angry, different from the way she was when they first met and even while she was angry that she was attacked like that she still felt herself wanting to know why. The only problem was that she wouldn't get her answers now, with Toshiko running at her while she's hunched over and grabbing her head to jump and bringing her down with a jumping neckbreaker.
"Gaaggh!" Grace screamed, dropping on her head and neck and instantly bringing her hands to her head as her head was snapped to the floor, spreading pain to that area as she laid there on her side. The match was off to a poor start for the proud fighter, outnumbered and being aggressively attacked before she could process what was going on.

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
Toshiko made her swift flip, mixed with that jumping neckbreaker to slam Grace into the mat already. Immediately, Toshiko would roll forward and up to her feet, looking at Kenning from over her shoulder. She seemed incensed, and angry. She was ready to continue laying into her opponent before she looked over at Kazuko in on the outside, who simply rolled her eyes, turning away from her. The simple motion made the Twilight Edge's blood start boiling as she glared outside before looking back down at Grace.
She wasn't going to let her opponent recover, so she grabbed hold of her arm and grab her a hard yank, pulling her to a seated position. Sizing up Kenning for just a moment, Toshiko Ito would then go for another attack, ruthless in her assault. "YAH!" exclaimed Toshiko. She sent a hard kick directly towards Grace's chest, trying to smash that sternum with her well-practiced kick. A move that would no doubt leave Grace gasping if she connected.

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
It was time to take this slow, Toshiko was her first problem and the duo outside of it were bothering her. Grace wanted to help, but she needed to be conscious to do it and she couldn't let them beat her down. As odd as it sounded she needed to beat Toshiko before she could start helping her. Knowing this and deciding to make it her priority she would start to sit up before Toshiko pulled her up and tried to kick her chest. Grace's arms came up and tried to catch the kick before it connected.
She glared at Toshiko and tried to stand up, cautious of any follow up attacks until she was on her feet. Then Grace would kick at Toshiko's other leg to drop Toshiko to the mat before dropping down again and hitting Toshiko with a leg ddt. She wasn't going to fall victim to those knockout style kicks a second time.

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
Toshiko went for her kick, only for it to be caught, she looked down, glaring right back at Grace. She already had a plan of attack in mind for such a counter. One that would still rattle Grace's skull and get her to release her leg at the same time. However, Kenning had another idea. Her experience fighting Toshiko before had made one thing clear: she needed to stop letting those kicks hit as hard as they did. The Leg DDT following, stretching and slamming the Twilight Edge's leg into the mat. "Ah!" exclaimed Toshiko, surprised by the pain.
She would then push up off the mat, using her good leg to help push herself away from Grace and get some distance from her opponent as she grabbed her leg, wincing in pain, but more than that, looking angry that Kenning would try such a move on her now.
"Oh, Toshiko... That's a bad look. What do you think, Mikasa?" said Kazuko on the outside, looking amused with herself as she leaned on the apron close to her half-sister.
Mikasa would follow but keep her distance from the apron and shrugged. "Well... It's definitely not a good look, Tosh." Toshiko merely let out a loud grunt of annoyance, pushing off the mat to gingerly get back to her feet, trying to get up before Grace could keep her on the mat.

Re: Toshiko Ito vs Grace Kenning
The previous match between them ended when Grace was knocked out by a roundhouse kick, if Grace wanted to change the outcome of this fight that had to change. Grace dropped Toshiko and sent both of them to the mat, then heard the comments from those on the outside which were hardly encouraging if they were here to support Toshiko. It seemed to be getting Toshiko to move out of frustration compared to Grace getting to her feet desperate to bring her down again.
Grace wouldn't wait for Toshiko to get back up and fight again, she rushed in while Toshiko was still standing and would rush her, driving her shoulder into Toshiko and ramming her into the corner. Here Grace knee that keeping Toshiko pinned would keep her legs from being of any use to her, so all Grace had to worry about was her arms.
